the dusky glow
of moonlight

freckles dazzling,
his distracted amber eyes,
his parted lips,
peaceful smiles
that showed
just how blissful
he was
or wanted to be.

the moment
even more special,
was the fact that
a shooting star
filled the sky.
one so unbelievable,
so accidental.

the two felt overjoyed.
they squealed,
rushing over,
standing on the edge,
open mouths,
as a shooting star
flew across the sky.

Seol realised that
he was making
a wish
upon a
shooting star,
so she decided
to do
the same.

"what did you wish for?"
Seol asked,
wonder,
and anticipation
in her voice.

she couldn't stop
staring at
the wonder that was
Kim Taehyung.
sculpted angelic face,
licked lips,
soft locks of hair,
sun kissed features
and an elevated smile.

"for you
to be
my girlfriend."
his answer was ordinary,
substantial.

"why didn't you
just ask?"
Seol laughed,
nerves filled her throat.

Taehyung laughed too-
an addicting sound.
"you make me nervous,
i've never
had that before."
he admitted.

Seol grinned,
fortunate in his presence and
overflowing warmth.
she linked her arm
with his.
"i would love
to be yours Tae.
you owned me,
ever since we met."
