Would You
Would you still love me
when my skin's turned paper
and my eyes are
drab and gray?
Would you still love me
when I turn ugly
If I was no longer
soft and beautiful?
Could you still love me
when I am withered,
And I have
outlived this life?
Might you still love me
when death is all I'm wanting,
And peace
is all I yearn?
Should you still love me
when there is nothing
But an urn
left to hold?
Can you still love me
if I am dying
and my soul
is all I own?
Is it possible to love me
When I am heedless
and a mind
with no home?
Please will you love me
If I can't remember
You or why
you're here
Please always love me
Even if it hurts you
Because for you,
I'd always be there.
A/N: Do you think this poem should be longer, or shorter? Or neither.
