since early childhood

i'd many visions .. dreams

no understanding them .. back then

fearful .. I'd remained silent

time went on

life's experiences unfolded

my thoughts processed

things i'd seen .. lived

different people i'd met

things they'd done .. said

many pleasant people i'd met

I was fortunate indeed

times were changing

directly in front of me

many evil people i'd also met

older now .. comprehension arrived

dreams .. unwanted visions continued

becoming more and more intense

so many nights .. sleep fled from me

I'd lay motionless underneath my bed .. frightened

i'd dreamed most people had become insane

they'd ran around laughing madly

killing without discretion

willfully killing entire families

killing everyone in their paths

door to door .. apartments to houses

their crazed rampage went on

no stopping in sight

police .. authorities held at bay

military weapons were used on them

evil people spewed mad laughter

killing one another .. no mercy

I'd appeared in the unwanted vision

running as fast as I could

to warn families to run and hide

telling everyone I could safely reach

i'd received a rare gift

able to clearly see angels .. demons

deep inside people .. what to do

i'd pondered long .. intelligently

to write of my predicament

time is near .. close at hand

all people will be forced

to stand for their beliefs

even if they've not decided

by now
