~Part 40~

Oof sorry guys it's literally been so long. I've been swamped with school and life isn't the easiest for me or a lot of the people I love right now so I'm sorry. Anyway I hope you enjoy. Prinxiety, yay! X3 Also even thought it's been long I hope this chapter makes you forgive me ;)

Virgil shook his head as he left the library after a very short tutoring session with Logan. He couldn't help but role his eyes, yet smile a little at how they were cut short by Patton showing up and distracting his boyfriend. One of the very few things Virgil found could distract the brainiac from his studies. Still, Virgil didn't mind much, he could be tutored later, and he was just glad Logan was finally happy with someone again.

He debated finding Roman, which is what he was going to do, before deciding he really didn't feel up to looking through the loud cafeteria full of people, so started toward the locker room, where he often went for some quiet, to do a bit of homework by himself.

As he turned the corner however he found himself quickly being grabbed from behind, the person plastering a hand over his eyes so he was only able to feel and hear as he was dragged into a nearby supply room.

"Let me go!" He shouted dropping his bag, automatically thinking it was one of the many bullies who messed with him when they had nothing better to do.

The person then suddenly chuckled a bit loudly. "And why would I wanna let something as cute as you go?"

Virgil immediately calmed upon recognizing the voice. By that time the person's grip was lose so he was easily able to break free and turn around to face them. "Roman!" He punched his arm.

"Ow, Hey!" Roman laughed as he rubbed the now sore area.

"Don't 'Hey' me, what the hell? You nearly gave me a heart attack!" Virgil growled a bit.

"Okay okay, I'm sorry, I just wanted to mess with you a bit." Roman smiled, not helping but to think Virgil's fierce reaction was cute.

Virgil was about to lecture him a bit more, but his cheeks suddenly went warm as Roman gently moved his bangs and placed a small lingering kiss on his forehead.

"Are you calmed down now?" He asked in a low soothing voice.

Vigil let out a slight huff trying to hide his slight nerves over the gesture. "I wasn't that scared... what are you doing wandering the halls anyway?"

"I was looking for you." Roman smiled at him.

"Why?" Virgil asked.

Roman seemed confused by the question. "Just because I wanted to see you." He wrapped his arms around his waist, pulling him closer into an embrace, leaning down a bit to be at a more comfortable height with him. "Is it wrong for me to want to see my boyfriend?" He kissed his lips lightly for only a second longer than a moment.

Virgil avoided his gaze, looking to the side. "No." He returned the embrace slightly his voice coming out hardly over a whisper. "I wanted to see you too..." he slowly met his eyes.

Roman's smile grew at his words. "Oh Virgil..." he sighed a bit. "You really have to be careful saying things like that." He tilted his head to the side a little. "It's almost like you're tempting me." He connected their lips again.

Virgil kissed back right away, causing Roman to deepen the kiss, pushing him back against the wall a bit more, and tightening his arm around his waist, pulling him closer as he let his other hand trail up his back slightly.

Virgil almost felt as if his breath was taken away, but he gave back none the less, feeling sparks go through his body. He almost felt as if Roman's energy was taking over him. He reluctantly forced himself to pull away, taking deep short breaths. "Roman, we're at school..."

Roman seemed annoyed by the interruption and replied simply by smirking slightly and teasing him, letting his warm breath tickle his lips and then slowly slide across his cheek to whisper in his ear. "So..? Everyone is in lunch or class right now...who's gonna walk in here?"

Virgil flinched slightly, shuddering under the sparks rushing down his spine as he felt Roman's lips ever so slightly graze the tip of his blush stained ear as he finished speaking. "Wh-what if a staff member walks in..?"

Roman sighed reaching behind them, not even looking as he locked the door. "There now if anyone does want to come in they'll have to unlock the door, and we'll have plenty of time." He stated. "Unless you're thinking we'll be too busy doing something else..." He continued to almost mock him again, going back to his close proximity to the boy's ear. "What are you expecting Virgil?"

Virgil held in a nervous squeal in the back of his throat, felling his body stiffen. "N-Nothing, you're the one expecting things!"

Roman chuckled at his defensiveness, moving his head to once again stare the shorter in the eye, leaning their foreheads together. "Virgil... Just trust me okay?" He then leaned to the side, interlocking their lips together once again.

Virgil gave into him, he couldn't help it. The way he said his name. The feeling of his breath dancing across his lips. The way he just seemed to so perfectly swift down and capture his lips into his own. Virgil really couldn't stop being overcome by all of it, all those things luring him into Roman's wishes, his eyes fluttering shut, and his hands gliding around him, one making its way up and around his neck to entangle his fingers into his hair, and the other securely on his shoulder, allowing him to pull himself closer to the other slightly. He was completely enthralled in Roman's lips moving with his, only parting, to take ever so slight breaths between kisses.

Roman then completely pulled his lips away, standing up a bit more to his normal height, but still looking down at him. He took the smaller male's chin between his fingers, tilting his face up to face him. He watched as Virgil's eyes blinked open and stared up at him with a slightly innocent confusion that drove Roman so crazy he swear he could just take him then and there. But he controlled his impulses, moving his face down a bit so it hovered just above the other's before stopping. He smiled and waited.

Virgil was still catching his breath, panting quietly as he swallowed a slight lump in his throat. He watched Roman wondering why he'd stopped short of kissing him again.

Finally Roman spoke, so softly that if it wasn't for their close proximity he might have missed it. "If you want to kiss me Virgil..." He paused letting the hand on the boy's chin move to cup behind his ear, gently running his thumb across his cheek and chin. He teasingly brushed their noses together, his voice taking on an alluring tone. "then kiss me..."

Virgil almost felt as if his heart stopped beating for a moment upon hearing the words. Yet he stood up on his toes to lean up and kiss him, feeling his hands ball the cloth of Roman's jacket, wanting to feel him and taste him more.

Roman smiled into the kiss slightly, satisfied by the reaction he had received. He stood up taller, and kept leaning away just a bit, forcing Virgil reach up to kiss him, and silently curse the fact that he'd been born so damn short.

Virgil hated the fact that Roman was teasing him so much, and he swore to God he would kill him if he didn't like him so damn much. Maybe he more hated the fact that he was giving into his teasing than the actual teasing itself.

Roman decided he had enough of playing with him and wrapped his arms tightly around the other male, leaning down, forcing him back down on his feet, and back against the wall. Deepening, and once again taking control of the kiss.

Virgil felt the slight presence of a tongue glide across his bottom lip and was hesitant but slowly opened his mouth to let Roman slide it in, feeling as it entered into his warm mouth and explored around a bit before intertwining with his own a few times.

Roman pulled away again, causing Virgil to almost gasp for air.

Virgil then felt the very breath he was trying to gain again catch in his throat as Roman kissed his cheek, trailing down his chin, till he got to his neck, placing long drawn out kisses along it. He didn't know how Roman managed to have such a strong power over him, but he stood there accepting it, and praying that the bell would never ring.

"Virgil!" Roman greeted the emo boy after school, walking up to his locker. "You ready to go watch the recording of the play?"

"I guess, but I could have just met you at the theater, you didn't have to go out of your way." Virgil responded.

"I wanted to walk with you..." Roman frowned slightly, however quickly replaced it with a smirk. "After all it would only be appropriate for my on and off screen Romance to be by my side, right?"

Virgil sighed a bit, closing his locker. Must he always say cheesy shit like that... "Whatever."

Roman smiled not seeming to mind his cold tone. "Then let us go." He let his fingers trail along the palm of Virgil's hand before intertwining them with the other's and pulling him along.

Virgil once again felt a blush on his cheeks, yet couldn't help but smile a little as he followed his boyfriend.

-&-

They got to the theater, a few of their fellow friends already there and setting everything up, and took their seats. When they sat Roman slung and arm around Virgil's shoulders letting his fingers gently brush against the shorter's arm.

Virgil felt his body stiffen and he leaned forward a bit.

Noticing his awkward reaction Roman removed his arm, turning toward him a bit in confusion. "What's wrong?"

"I just...." Virgil trailed off shifting a bit uncomfortably. "I just don't know if... I want people to know..." He met his eyes. "About us, yet."

Roman seemed a little disappointed by his words but nodded in agreement nonetheless. He took a breath before gently grabbing the other's hand and hiding their folded together fingers under the armrest between them. "Better?"

Virgil gave another small smile feeling his grip tighten a bit. "Better."

-&-

After the showing of the play was over, and the cast and crew had a pizza party, Roman of course offered to drive Virgil home. He pulled up in front of his house before walking around to the side of the car opening the door for him.

Virgil got out, already pretty used to the gesture from their previous rides home, but this time when he stood on the curb facing Roman things felt different. It was practically completely dark now, and the air was cold, yet clear, feeling fresh yet slightly suffocating to inhale as they took breaths.

"I'm sorry." Virgil suddenly broke the short silence.

Roman seemed confused. "Sorry? For what exactly?"

"For not being confident enough to be open about our relationship..." Virgil muttered.

Roman sighed at the answer. "Virgil... it's okay." He stepped closer to him looking down at him as Virgil slowly kept moving his eyes from him to the ground, with his hands folded in front of him. "I understand, relationships can be a big thing, and it's still not easy these days for two guys to be together. I'm not upset by it. For now, as long as I know you're mine, and you know I'm yours, that's all I need."

Virgil finally fully met his gaze. "I just don't want you to think I'm ashamed to be with you, because I'm not."

Roman let out a single breathy laugh, it forming in the cool air between them. He place a hand on Virgil's cheek, rubbing his thumb along its pinkish color, stained by the cold, and felt it grow warmer beneath his touch. "I know." He then removed his hand, patting the top of his head a couple times, feeling the soft dark strands mix between his fingers. "Get some rest Virgil, I'll see you tomorrow."

He started to step away, but Virgil caught the front of his jacket before he could.

Roman looked down at him in confusion, expecting him to say something else.

Virgil however didn't he instead stood on his toes so he was more on his level to place a gentle kiss on Roman's cheek. "Goodnight Roman..." He returned to his feet, shyly blinking up at him.

Roman smiled at the gesture before placing a hand on the other's arm and leaning down to kiss him, letting his lips linger, so it was a bit longer than a simple peck, before pulling away. "Goodnight Virgil. Sweet dreams."

That time Virgil let him go, taking a few steps back into his yard, and watched as Roman got back into his car, pulled away from the curb, and drove away from his house.

He again couldn't help but smile a little, feeling his previously cold cheeks flush warmer and his lips still tingle as he thought about how he hadn't felt this happy for a very long time...

Hey guys, woah it's been forever! I know I'm sorry. There's been a ton of shit going on in my life, and I've had like zero break from school work. My friends have also been going through stuff so I've been helping them as well. It's honestly just been a struggle, and on top of it a k-pop idol I really Love is going through a tough time and may be kicked out of his group and it's really taking its toll on me fore some reason. I just love him and the members so much and it's so unfair. Anyway! I hope you liked the chapter! There was a lot of kissing, but it's Roman so like... are you really surprised? They'll definitely be taking it a little faster than Logan and Patton. Tell me you thoughts in the chapter and their storyline as a whole. Vote and comment, bye!
