Part 35

I think we all need some logicality fluff now, so here you go x3

Logan and Patton were walking on a path in the park after school Monday, and Logan was securely holding Patton's hand as the shorter balanced himself on the thin curb of the walkway, slowly placing one foot in front of the other.

"Have you heard anything about Ashton?" Logan asked his boyfriend.

"Mm my brother said his fever spiked again last night so he had to stay at the hospital a little longer, but Jax says he should be fine and he'll be able to leave either tomorrow or Wednesday." He replied.

"I'm glad to hear he is recovering well." The nerd stated sincerely. "You on the other hand are making me nervous. If you lose your balance you could twist your ankle."

Patton chuckled. "That's what holding onto you is for, besides, I used to this all the time as a kid."

"I suppose..." Logan trailed off. "How are you doing then? When Jaxon first called you from the hospital you were pretty shaken up, are you feeling okay now?"

"I'm okay, you always make me feel better." Patton chirped.

Logan smiled at the comment, but then quickly jumped to catch Patton as he began to fall off the curb.

Patton fell into Logan's chest, grabbing his shoulder to balance himself.

"I told you to be careful!" Logan scolded.

Patton suddenly bit back a laugh moving his face closer, so their foreheads were pressed together, and slowly wrapping his hand around Logan's shoulder more, using the other to gently grab his tie, that was exposed since Logan left his coat mostly unzipped. "Maybe I did it on purpose."

Logan watched him closely, their warm breaths mixed in the cool air between them. "Patton we're in public." Despite his comment he wrapped an arm around the boy's waist.

"So..? Nobody's around right now. Don't worry about it..." Patton pointed out before pulling him into a kiss.

Logan couldn't help but kiss him back, feeling pulled in by the sweet sent he seemed to emit.

They stayed that way for a while before they heard something approaching. Logan pulled away their glasses bumping into each other for a split second, before he let him go and stepped back.

A jogger ran past them, too lost in her music to even notice them.

Logan cleared his throat shuffling somewhat awkwardly.

Patton chuckled at his nervous response, he couldn't help but find it quite cute.

"Uh... It's getting cold, lets go home now, shall we?" Logan offered his hand again.

Patton took it happily and they began to walk back to Logan's car.

-&-

When they got to Patton's house they took off their shoes and coats, but remained in the front hallway, Patton wrapping his arms around Logan and pulling him closer to him. He hugged his boyfriend happily wanting to be surrounded by his warmth.

Logan couldn't help but smile as he returned his embrace. After a little while he pulled away slightly only to gently push Patton back against the wall and pressed his lips against his once again.

Patton smiled as he pulled away before reaching up and removing his boyfriend's glasses tucking them away safely, before doing the same with his own. "It's easier without glasses in the way you know." He then wrapped his arms around his neck pulling him down into another kiss, this time longer.

Logan pulled away, kissing Patton's cheek a few times.

Patton laughed, but then felt his breath catch in his thought when Logan's lips met his neck. "Logan..." he whispered his arms tightening around him.

They were interrupted when Logan's phone suddenly began to ring. He pulled away before stepping back and answering it. "Hello? Okay, I understand. Goodbye." He hung up again.

"Who was it?" Patton asked casually, trying to somewhat hide his blushing cheeks.

"My mother, she wants me home for dinner." Logan responded taking his glasses back from the boy and putting them on.

"Oh." Patton tried to hide his disappointment. "Okay."

"Do you wanna come with me?" Logan suddenly asked.

"Come with you?" Patton asked in surprise. "Um... like to your house? For dinner? With your family?"

"Yes, that is what I was implying." Logan nodded matter of factly. "Is there anything amiss with that?"

"No!" Patton suddenly shouted taking his boyfriend by surprise. "Uh, I mean... no, of course not. I've just never met your parents before."

Logan smiled a little at that. "I assure you they are quite kind. Besides," he took Patton's hand in his. "We are together now, so you will have to meet them eventually. I see it as proper to introduce someone so important to me."

Patton smiled brightly at that feeling himself melt a bit. "Okay then, let's go."

-&-

Logan opened the door to his house stopping to allow Patton in first but turned to see the smaller male was stood frozen on the front porch. He chuckled at the scene, gently grabbing his arm and leading him forward. "Come on Patton, everything will be alright." He walked into the front door, which opened into the living room, and closed it behind both of them.

"Logan sweetheart, you're just in time- oh?" Logan's mother walked into the room drying her hands with a towel, suddenly stopping what she was saying when she saw Patton. "You brought someone home?"

"Yes, mother this is Patton, Patton this is my mother." Logan introduced.

"It's nice to meet you m'am" Patton stated quietly.

Logan's mother smiled joyfully at his politeness, her eyes seeming to light up. She shook his hand. "It's nice to meet you too darling. So Logan this is who you've been spending all your time with lately?"

Logan cleared his throat slightly, rubbing the nape of his neck. "I suppose if you want to put it that way, yes."

Patton too felt his cheeks warm slight at his boyfriend's nervous behavior, and looked down to hide them.

"Sweetheart!" They heard a voice call from another room. "Is he back yet?"

Logan's mother called back. "Yes dear, and he brought a friend." She then turned back to Patton. "Come on in darling, dinner's all ready, Logan get some dishes for him."

Logan nodded and they all walked into the kitchen.

His mother sat Patton down across from a man who was already sitting at the table. She then began serving dinner.

Logan placed a plate and silverware in front of his boyfriend before sitting in the seat next to him.

"Oh?" The man stated. "And who are you?"

"My name is Patton, sir. Patton Sanders." Patton replied politely.

"Sanders..?" His father trailed off like he was thinking. "Like Sanders Tech.?"

Patton was slightly surprised by the mention of the company name. "Um... yes, my father owns the company."

"Woah..." the man stated seeming impressed. "That's one of the biggest companies in the state, and is expanding internationally. You guys must be bringing in quite a cash prize then eh?"

"Honey." Logan's mother scolded quietly, sitting in her own seat next to her husband.

"What? I didn't mean nothing by it." He defended himself.

"It's alright." Patton assured them.

"Let's just dig in then?" Logan's mother smiled happily.

-&-

Logan was dropping Patton back off at his home a couple hours later and stopped his car in front of his house, putting it in park."So, not really as terrifying as you thought were they?" He asked him.

"No." Patton shook his head with a smile. "They were very nice. Do they know?"

"Know?" Logan asked leaning against the wheel curiously.

"That you're gay?" Patton asked watching him intently.

"Oh..." Logan replied. He then nodded. "I told them a few years ago, but I'm pretty sure as far as they know, I haven't been with anyone... I told them very little about David. They didn't have a bad reaction when I told them, but it wasn't necessarily good either, they just seemed a bit surprised. I'm still not entirely sure how they feel about it, but I know they care greatly for me despite anything."

"It's nice that you have parents who'll be there for you no matter what." Patton smiled somewhat sadly, thinking of his own parents.

"Patton..." Logan took his boyfriend's hand holding it tightly. "Are you okay?"

Patton forced his smile a bit more nodding quickly. "Mhm! I'm fine. I should get inside, it's late, bye bye I'll see you tomorrow." He pecked Logan on the lips before letting go of his hand and opening the door, getting out of the car. He closed the door behind him and started up the path to his house, but stopped and turned around when he heard another car door shut. "What are you doing?" He asked Logan who was approaching him.

"What?" Logan questioned, grabbing his hand again when he got to him. "Can't I walk my boyfriend to the door?"

Patton smiled happily leaning into his partner as they slowly made their way up to his front door.

He was so happy he had Logan there for him... no matter what.

Hey guys, I felt a lack of logicality fluff lately so this chapter was dedicated to it. This is a logicality story after all. Prinxiety returns next, but don't worry logicality as well as Jax and Ashton will come back soon enough. Tell me your thoughts on the chapter, or any predictions you may have. Vote and comment, bye!
