Chapter Four

"Tch." Levi stood with his arms crossed watching Hanji walk away. His leg shook some in anger.
"Fucking four eyes." He turned the other way walking down the stairs and into the dining hall.    He walked through and stepped through the wooden doors of the castle stepping outside.  He stood there for a moment thinking as he looked out towards the wall in the distance.
"My duty is to fight and protect not be on damn baby sitting duty." He shook his head mumbling.
The sun was already beginning to set, as Levi contemplated on what he was to do.
Hanji had returned to her room, she going to check on Lilith, only she wasn't in bed. But the dishes were cleaned and her bed was made.
  "Lilith!"
In the training area, she working on her fighting movements. Levi was smaller so he was quicker, she could use that as an example she recalled with her memory, his exact movements. She then did a exact mimic against a punching bag. She smiled and jumped in excitement.
She then worked on rotations with her legs to kick and punch, her hair sticking to her forehead and cheeks.
Hanji had returned to her room, she going to check on Lilith, only she wasn't in bed. But the dishes were cleaned and her bed was made.
After a while Levi walked inside the castle again and headed upstairs. He was going to speak with Lilith, see what the fuck Hanji was talking about. He stopped in his tracks as he heard Hanji's voice and slowly walked towards the door to listen.
He was still pissed Hanji even dared match up to him, but he wanted to know why she was so attached.
"Lilith!" She called again, she looked around for her, seeing the window opened.
"Shit!" She kicked something then whipped open her door. She meeting eyes with Levi.
"Oh, it's you, I have to go. Lilith's gone!" She ran past Levi and looked down the halls, hoping she couldn't sleep and was walking down the hallways.
Sure she knew the story in which they lived but she didn't know her way around the Garrison, she could get hurt. Anything could happen since wall Maria was breached.
  "Lilith!"
I on the other hand was still training, she feeling a bit dizzy from lack of rest the past couple of days, she sighed and put her hair up.
"I should really get back, Hanji might get mad at me for sneaking out, but I meant no harm from it." I say to myself.
Flashbacks of Levi fill my head.
"He'll never train me, he's to good for that, I knew it was a long shot." She closed her eyes and looked down.
As Hanji ran past Levi screaming Liliths name he followed soon after.
"I fucking told you!" He jogged down the stairs.
"What could she be doing? Is she a spy? My office is locked so she can't get in." He ran outside and looked out the main doors and saw nothing but the dusk sky. He jogged towards the horses stable to see if any where gone.
"She's still here somewhere." He turned and saw a shadow walking around the corner of the castle.
"Lilith!" He shouted rather loud and clenched his fist. "What was she doing outside in the dark alone?" He thought as he walked up to her.
  I stopped, hearing a voice.
'Is that,' I quickly sprinted, I running as fast as she could. I didn't like the man but if I avoid him I'd feel like less of a failure. I have to prove my worth to him, which wouldn't ever be easy.
I took the quickest way to get back to Hanji's place. I'm not scared of him, more so I just respect him so much it's hard to even face him.
I am nothing to him, I'd find someone else to train me, I didn't need him.
I ran faster and faster, almost leaving him in the dust. As she ran she had picked up a blade and hid it up her sleeve in case she had to defend herself.
  Levi watched her sprint away.
"What the fuck?" He ran after her before stopping and running around the opposite way around the castle. He kicked open the back door and watched her sprint up the stairs. He ran soon after unknowing she had a blade. He finally managed to kick himself off the wall and just barley grab her collar causing them both to slam into the castle wall.
"Why the hell are you running?!" He pushed himself off the wall and stared at her.
I quickly kicked him back into the wall, then stabbing the blade right by his head, then quickly turning around and running again, she then hiding behind a wall. She covering her eyes and then sliding down. She then holding her head, trying to calm down enough to breath normally. "What did I just do?"
Her attack patterns, they were, familiar. It reminded him of his fight with the scouts when he lived underground. She had somehow pulled it off and cultivated it as her own.
She had photographic memory, something she'd always remember. She could pretty much do everything Levi could, but, she didn't want to, there could only be one Levi.
Levi looked at the blade that was beside his face.
"I fucking new we couldn't trust a damned outsider like you." He pushed himself off the wall and ripped the blade out walking towards her, "If you want to fucking go, then let's go. I'll slit and slice you into a billion fucking pieces."
His eyes were completely different, the anger resonated off his body as he stepped closer clenching the knife.
"I was about to talk to you too, see why Hanji was so interesting in you. But it doesn't matter know because dead bodies can't speak!"
Levi brought his hand back about the throw the knife at the rope holding a chandelier above her head before some grabbed his wrist.
"Levi." Erwins voice filled the air.
