After Derek saved me from Zavier and Derek went with his friends, Sierra must have dragged me to at least 15 different stores until we found the perfect dress for my date in two days. Yea, that's right Friday is two days away and I'm kind of freaking out. The good news is that after we found my dress, Derek decided to rejoin us after his friends left and he didn't feel like getting bugged by Mike, who happens to be his roommate. So, Derek, Sierra, and I all hung out around the small fountain that is on the lower level of the mall. It's made out of chiseled marble, there were occasional cracks that ran through it. The water was clear, you could the coins that littered the bottom of the fountain. We were talking about something random, when a woman that looked our age came over to us. She had jet black hair, that flowed down to her mid back, her eyes were unusual shade of brown-grey, her eyes looked black almost. She is extremely pretty. She stood in front of our group, Derek wasn't paying attention since he was on his phone texting someone, but Sierra noticed her too.

"I'm sorry for interrupting, but I wanted to come say hello." she said, a slight British tone was in her voice.

I look at Sierra, who did the same, and we looked back at the woman.

"We don't know you." I told her.

She smiled slightly, "I know, I meant him."

She looked at Derek, who had stiffened at the mention of him.

"Hi, Der. I've missed you."

Derek slowly looked up at her, a serious look was on his face.

"What do you want, Adelaide?"

"I got back into town today, and I wanted to see you." She explained, innocently.

"Well, I don't want to see you."

"Why not? Replace me already?" She questioned angrily.

Derek stood up, I looked at Sierra, who was watching intensely at the scene front of us. I turned back to watch them again, without saying a word.

"Yes, I have. She's much better than you ever will be."

His words caused me to blush. I don't know how he can compare me to her. she is gorgeous and I was just me.

"Oh really?" She said snapping out of my thoughts, "Who? The cheap Barbie or the brunette tramp?"

I heard Sierra gasp. I shake my head slightly. I look at Derek, he looks back at me, clearly angry.

"She is none of your business." He said, through slightly gritted teeth, "You lost any right to talk to me, and you certainly have no right to ask about my personal life."

Adelaide had a small smirk on her face, which gave me a bad feeling about her.

"Alright, Der. You win. I'll leave you alone... for now..."

Adelaide pivoted on her heels and walked away, leaving us in silence. No one dared to speak, well... Almost.

"Who was that?" Sierra asked breaking the unbearable silence.

Derek sighs and looks at us.

"Adelaide is my ex-girlfriend." He started, "She cheated on me while she was in London. I went to surprise her for our 1 year anniversary... I walked in on her and one of my oldest friends..."

Derek's voice faded as he finished his explanation, he looked at the ground. I get up from my seat, and walked up to him. He doesn't look up once at me. I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him into a hug. He buries his face into my shoulder and hugs me back.

"I'm sorry she did that to you Derek." I say quietly.

"It's ok. She helped me find someone better." He said, looking up me.

He looked into my eyes as his face inched closer to mine.

"And who's that?" I ask.

He smiles, "It's you."

He cups my face, and presses his lips to mine. The kiss was short, sweet, and just as amazing as the first time we kissed at the club. When he pulls away he gives me a dazzling smile.

"Come on, Lets go. There's been enough drama for today." Sierra said, rushing us towards the doors.

I laugh while we leave the mall with Sierra and Derek.

I watched as he kissed her, it caused my blood to boil. I want him to pay, but I promised Adelaide he would remain alive and he will for a while... Zavier came to me with Adelaide practically begging for my help with their problems with the ones they love, but little did they know the torture they would have to endure to get it. Soon Adelaide will have what she wants and I will have what I want... Amara... Zavier will die and Derek will be gone with Adelaide. She will be mine very soon.

Hey guys!!! Here's the second chapter for triple chapter weekend!!! I know its a little late but I had to find a picture for Adelaide and as you can see I did. Chapter 15 will out tomorrow!!! YAY!!!
