" Dudes and Dudettes, I'm telling you : I saw Miss Roberts and Mr Yozo snogging each other in the Spanish Classroom !  It was suu—uuuper gross. " Merlin merely grimaced with a small laugh, laying down on his bed on his stomach, grasping the walkie—talkie within his hand, awaiting for a response from any of his friends.

A crackled response from Castiel was first heard on the walkie—talkie, who seemed quite ecstatic and quick to answer Merlin. It almost sounded like, they had fallen off from something to even grab their walkie—talkie " There — is no way that's true, I thought : Mr Yozo fancied Mr Chance? "

" I thought, Mr Chance was already married to this ex—model chick? " Adrian clicked a button his communicator, holding it up to respond, as he plugged off his electric guitar to give himself a break. The crackled sound of music through the communicators was heard from Adrian's side, as he relaxed back on his bed with a huff leaving him.

" And, I thought ; you guys already ended this convo at lunch yesterday, after I threatened — " Cleo grunted harshly, when she was then interrupted by the one and only, Rebecca.

" Wait, just shut up for one minute, Cleo ! This could be the theory I was on about last week, guys !  "

From Bex's comment, collective groans were heard from all the kids, as Natalie and Charlotte got themselves onto their walkie—talkies by now.

" What's even going on? " Natalie questioned, mass amounts of confusion etching onto her, as Castiel was about to gurgle out a response, but the sound of a slushie drink being drank slowly crackled throughout everyone's walkie—talkies, making them all make annoyed sounds.

" Charlie, I swear down ; can you drink the slushie away from the walkie—talkie ? !  " Rebecca commented with annoyance. Merlin let out a grunt of agreement, his response was lagged—out, but it was clear enough.

" Thank you, Bex !  Said, what I was thinking too. " At this comment, Rebecca beamed up in pride.

" . . . You are a suck—up, Bex. " Cleopatra snarked out, rolling her eyes, as she was sorting out some stickers on one of her classroom books, gripping onto the walkie—talkie in her other hand.

" Wha — No, I'm not !  " From that responding comment, the two of them initiated themselves into a childish fight that went on, like tennis, while Charlotte defiantly kept on slurping on her slushie extra loudly to annoy the others.

Tadhg was the last one to log himself onto the walkie—talkie, pressing the one button to make his voice available, holding a romance—certified novel in his other hand. " Hello? What's even going on? "

" Just, Cleo and Bex arguing, while Charlie drinking like her life depends on it. " Adrian answered with a prolonged groan of tiredness leaving him, as Tadhg ate from a box of chocolates he managed to nick off from the kitchen of his home, seemingly comfortable on the sofa in the living room, as the sound of drums clashing was heard in the background of the walkie—talkies.

Everyone stopped talking, as Charlotte even put a pause to her slurping, as they all waited for the crashing sounds to be over.

" Adrian, how does it feel falling into drums and cymbal—thingies? " Charlotte finally spoke up, as Adrian let out a small huff, on the other side of the communicator.

" Feels, like I have a concussion. " After the response, Cleo let out an amused scoff, shaking her head.

" You're so stupid, man. "

" Hey, it's not his fault, give the guy a break. " Tadhg defended Adrian, only for it to counter—back onto the two of them.

" Dude, didn't he, like trip up on air that one time at the Autumn Dance? " Castiel commented, as Merlin grimaced at the memory of it too. Adrian was silent for a bit, before he begrudgingly agreed in a small murmur that consisted of it being a reluctant manner.

" That's because, he was trying to run away from Bex, who was deliberately invading his mind with stupid conspiracy theories. " Cleo barked out in retaliation, as Rebecca let out an offended gasp.

" They are not stupid !  They are true, and it's an honest piece of work. "

" Like, the theory where romance was just something created by the government to sway us away from the idea that aliens really do exist? " Charlotte questioned teasingly, as Tadhg raised an eyebrow at this and Bex felt her face grow warm with embarrassment evident only to her, thankfully as they were still communicating through the walkie—talkies.

" Now, that is a good theory !  " Merlin pointed out jokingly, a measly grin on his face, as Castiel playfully rolled his eyes at this.

" Romance seems sweet though. " Natalie muttered out her comment, confusion showing on her face for why that romance theory even existed within the depths of Rebecca's mind. Tadhg widened his eyes at Natalie's statement, a simple smile duped itself onto his face, and he kept his walkie—talkie on, listening on in still.

" There are many songs about romance !  How about I sing you all a song? "

" NO  —  Uhm, I mean no. Thank you though, Nat . . . " Charlotte quickly inputted, a few sighs of relief were heard from everyone else and grumbles of gratitude, as Natalie sighed with disappointment.

" Maybe, at the Summer Fair? " Grunts of acceptance were heard, as the sound of Tadhg smacking his lips in confinement from the satisfactory chocolates wasn't unheard.

" TG, you snogging someone there? " Merlin laughed, as Tadhg spluttered out incoherent sentences that made his bewilderment heavily obvious.

" Who the hell uses the word ' snogging ' ? " Cleo furrowed her eyebrows in disappointment and disbelief, but Castiel and Rebecca's unified answer managed to make sense of it all.

" Merlin does. "

" Woah, that unison response was a bit freaky. " Adrian commented, amazement shown in his tone of voice, as the walkie—talkie occasionally glitched out the voices.

" Like, Illumi — "

" Bex, please no !  " Collective responses of irritation were heard, as they managed to quickly stop the girl from going into another rant about how Illuminati will somehow show us the way to aliens through unified sentences and phrases of unison.

" Wait, maybe her theory might be fun to listen to this time, right? " Charlotte asked, some hope escalading through her, as she was met with some occasional laughs. " — How is what I asked even funny? Give me a break, you guys should know that — "

" ' I haven't matured past 10 '. Yeah, we are aware, du—uuuh !  "

✸ I LOVE THIS CAST SO MUCH !  Honestly, I'm really happy with how this turned out, in all honesty. This is just an act one segment sneak peek of what is to come up ahead for this fanfic!  Anyways, this just gives off chaotic GC vibes in a good sense of way, even if they are literally communicating from walkie—talkies . . . Sorry, if the dialogue wasn't good enough, but I do promise to do much better, as these chapters go on and I'll make sure to go well with the dynamics for this apply fic, as a whole !
