Yay time to see who the heck this is, GAH DANG. This boy foiiiiinne !!!! He looks a little familiar though. Oh ! We went to the Swellview Student Fair and hung out ! I hated myself for not getting any of his stuff and now here's my chance ! -_- buzzkill, there's a girlfriend and he lives almost 2 hours away.

h_Hart : Jasper and I don't mind. Trust me, Swellview sucks. The fair is the best thing we have. Got any cool places to take us ?

Lottie_bear : We have a Dave & Busters, you guys would love it. It's better at night though so maybe you can come on a weekend if you don't have work. I'm sure I could find a place for you guys to stay if ya don't want to drive back and forth.

He sure read it but he's taking a little while to reply. Maybe I was too forward? What if he didn't want to do that ? Stupid !

h_Hart : Alright, Jasper and I can come next weekend, Saturday night around 8 pm if that's cool? Just send me your address and we're all good. Would it be too much to ask to stay at your place - I don't have enough to grab a hotel

So he not gone mention the fact that he got a girlfriend in these last 4 months ? I think you'd mention your girlfriend before a promotion at work.

Lottie_bear : that's great Hen ! I don't even have a job so you're already better than me.

Lottie_bear : Well, I did have one but it conflicted with school a lot. Until I find something more flexible I don't want to get another.

h_Hart : Ah so you're like a little nerd. Never would've guessed.

Lottie_bear : and let me guess, you're some big fancy jock 🙄

h_Hart : 😮 How did you know ?

Lottie_bear : Wait Fr ?!

h_Hart : I guess. Jasper and I rotate through football, basketball and baseball every year. This year though we're thinking of doing something different.

Lottie_bear : that's cool, I usually just do volleyball, and track. I also do my little nerd clubs too like Mathletes and Debate Club.

h_Hart : Excuse me. You do it all don't ya ? Jasper and I did Mathletes one year, we won but it was so much extra work that we didn't go back. Maybe I should pick up on one of your things so we see each other more 🙂.

Lottie_bear : Sounds good, and my mom said we're all good for next weekend. If ya want something that's not a lot of work do track, it'll help during baseball season

h_Hart : you're so smart, I am in awe. Thanks Charbear 😊 I gotta go to work but I'll text you when I'm on break.

Why was that the best thing to happen to me all summer? Ugh, I don't need to get caught up. There's a girlfriend! But he's so fine !!

A knock pulls me out of my thoughts. I roll off the couch and open the door to find my best friend Dawna. She strolls in and goes straight to my kitchen. I just smile and close the door, locking it too. I plop down on the couch and she eventually comes out with chips.

"Hey girl." She says in between munching.

"Oh Dawna Dixon, why must you torture me?"

"Oh Charlotte Bolton, why must you have such good food !"

"Hey, remember that time we went to the Swellview Student Fair ?" I ask knowing if I don't tell her now, I will forget.

"Oh yeah and we hung out with those cute boys. That curly haired cute hunk never left my mind. I just never found him on Instagram." Dee Dee says with a frown. She has crumbs around her mouth.

"Anyways, one of them found me. They're both gonna come next weekend to go to Dave & Busters and spend the night. Do yo- "

" What?! I'm so down! Of course!" She pops up forgetting the chip bag in her hand. Some crumbs drop on the floor and I glare at her.

"I knew you'd be. Anyways did you come here to watch Seven Deadly Sins or Queer Eye ?" I ask her.

"I love the sins but the Fab Five have my heart and Jonathan is such a queeeen, okay? Okay! Plus I need a good cry, I just got stood up again ." She mutters the last part.

" Dee !" I yell and she just sighs.

"I think they're doing it to make fun of me now. It must be some sick game. This is the fourth guy this summer. I checked Snapchat and of course on Jack's story he said that some girls are dumb enough to keep falling for the same trick over and over again then he posted a video with all the guys who asked me out, they were laughing." Dee speaks with tears threatening to spill out. I rush over to her and pull her in a hug.

"He broke up with me so why is he torturing me ? It's been 4 months and he won't quit." She cries. 

Jack was her first love, they dated all of Junior year but he broke up with her right before the Swellview Fair - not because she did anything wrong but because he 'wanted to be a free man around the Swellview babes.' He was so good to her until that moment. Ever since then he's treated her like she cheated on him when she devoted a whole year of her life to him. It was their one year anniversary when he did it. She was and still is heartbroken. Jasper and Henry helped her forget and just let loose that day.

"I don't know Dee, I'm sorry. But this is our last year at this hellhole. Plus volleyball conditioning starts soon and you did land a position as cheer captain. There's much to do to block him out." I try to calm her down.

"Thanks Lottie. He just gets to me sometimes." She pulls away and wipes her face.

"No prob Dawnie." I say and she smiles.

"I just want to know what went wrong." She whispers. Even though she said it, I know she would prefer I not ask about it. She's already had enough emotional mess for the month.

"Let the Fab Five work their magic !" I exclaim and turn on our favorite show.

"I honestly think that's the best kind of magic ." Dee says and we both laugh for nothing at all.
