This story is set in the United Kingdom around the 18th century when women were denied their right to vote. There was severe role discrimination in a society where every sex had their defined jobs.

Men and women had their fixed roles with men being the breadwinner, had alpha male tasks like hunting, sports, etc and women sitting at home, looking pretty, knitting sweater, socializing over a cup of tea, etc.

There is a chapter in the series where the female protagonist Lilli is arrested with her other lady friends for riding a cycle which was considered as a severe crime.

But yes, then she gets the opportunity to work one of the richest (Sorry, no offense to Ambrose Sir) business tycoon of Uk, Rikkard Ambrose. Now she has to disguise as a man because finding a woman in the office will be a pure scandal.

If you haven't read this book on Wattpad then WTF ARE YOU DOING HERE??!

GO! GO! READ EM ALL!

The starting few chapters of the book may seem to drag as your minding will be reeling with the society of the 18th century but I PROMISE YOU that once you get the hang of the story, you will be hooked, lined and sinker.

The romance is sizzling, the characters are just so...(Karim!!!!! is my love haha) the plot, the development, the flow of the story, everything will be new for you. A huge change from a typical romantic story.

YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE IT! TRUST ME!
