My personal opinion :

I read this book a long long time ago and this was one of the first Desi book that I genuinely loved!

This book enthralled me, captured me, and it will always be on top of my desi book recommendations.

The story is narrated neatly, not overwhelming the readers with too much information, neither underwhelming them with non-productive filler chapters.

It captures all the essence of the traditional Indian Royal court, adding simple touches through intricate details. I loved it as I could relate to the details.

Also, her character description are on point. I simply was addicted with the male protagonist of the story. (my guilty pleasure)
