Akuji paced around for hours. He missed Ghost.

Am I being a creep?

We are both around 5  months old...

So it's not like too weird...

But I barely know her.

Why?
After pondering for a long time Akuji heard a noise in the deeper parts of the woods. His ears flicked back as the noise grew louder.

Something is following me...

Akuji thought aloud.
His tiny paws were trembling as the noise got super close.

Out of the blue, a familiar creature ran up to Akuji. It was Ghost! "Hya! Remember me?" Ghost squeaked. Akuji's tail started to wag. "Of course! Your Ghost!" He replied exitedly. "Sorry for leaving, my mentor Nightshade wanted to train." Ghost explained. "It's ok. You seem to have a really important life." Akuji replied. Ghost's left ear twitched. "Not really..." She answered. "I came to ask you something." She quickly changed the subject. Akuji tilted his head, his dead eyes starred at Ghost intently. "would you join my pack? I'm kinda lonely there...." Ghost muttered quietly, embarrassed. Akuji took a step closer. "of course!" He replied.

This is what I wanted.
For Ghost to be by my side
This is amazing.

Ghost let out a yip of happiness. Her tail started wagging, as it dragged against the ground dust flew up behind her. She let out a giggle than play tackled Akuji, pinning him to the ground. Akuji, well unprepared let out a yip of surprise. After he kicked his legs out to unbalance Ghost, and it worked. She fell on the ground next to him. Dust flew everywhere as she landed. They both let out a small giggle. Ghost got up and touched Akuji's nose and squeaked "Boop!" Akuji got up and did the same to her. "Boop!" He replied with a chuckle.

"Wanna head to camp? I can show you the rest of the pack!" Ghost questioned exitedly. Akuji nodded.
Ghost ran into the trees. Akuji followed silently. There were so many trees in the forest, Akuji wasnt used to it. After what seemed like an eternity of walking they arrived to a beautiful cleared out from trees space full of dens and wolves. Wolves everywhere. Ghost walked straight into camp, Akuji continued to follow. Some of the wolves looked at Akuji. It made him uncomfortable. He sped up a little to the point where he was right next to Ghost. They walked alined perfectly. A few younger pups ran in front of them chasing each other and laughing. Ghost saw a small dead bird that wasn't eaten yet. She picked it up and continued walking. Akuji tilted his head. "What's that for?" He asked. "You'll see." She replied, muffled from the bird in her mouth. Akuji nodded. So. After they confronted a quite large den. Ghost slowly walked in. Akuji soon after followed. In the den, there was a pale ginger she wolf with pinkish splotches on her back. She looked down at the young wolves at her presence. Ghost dropped the bird and ducked her head. Akuji looked at Ghost than did the same. The full grown she wolf picked up the bird and ate it. "You may rise." She commanded. Akuji and Ghost both brought there heads up. "Who is this, Ghost?" She questioned. "Flower, this is Akuji, I found him in the edge of the woods. I was hoping he could join us." Ghost shyly explained. Flower nodded. "You do realize that you brought an outcast into our pack, right?" She growled. Her words felt like ice in Akuji's heart. He could feel it sink. Ghost gulped. "s-sorry Flower... He can be trusted, I swear!" She defended. Flower's green eyes seemed to be starring into Ghosts soul. "Plus! You taught me that making friends is important! He is my first ever friend, would you really reject that!?" Ghost yowled boldly. Astrum, one of Flower's guards ears flicked back. "Your being pretty bold, pup." He I grumbled. Flower looked at Ghost in shock. "I like your boldness.. it makes you stand out, and it shows that you are true to your words in my opinion." Flower commented. "Here's my answer if he can stay..."
