4kuj1 got ready to go into the boiler room after three minutes of pondering. He got up and ran down the right hall, than through a birch wood door that was wide open. There was a whole bunch of weapons on the tall wooden table next to a stair well. 4kuji carefully padded down the stairs to where the boiler room was. When he got halfway down, something felt warm... Really warm. 4kuj1 continued walking despite every instinct said run. After five more steps, he could feel too much heat. Something had caught on fire. He thought. And after that thought, right than and there, a flame bursted up the stair case, 4kuj1 ran as fast as he could, the boiler room apparently had wooden floors. This fire was so fast, not even a rabbit could possibly survive this!

I can say goodbye to ever seeing the sun.

    4kuj1 thought. He had lost all hope yet he was still running. The tiny creature saw an area with discusting soggy wood. 4kuj1 jumped onto it, hoping the fire would stay away from the drenched areas. The fire surrounded the groggy platform. 4kuj1 didn't like the heat at all. It felt like he was put in a fireplace that was lit up. The flames grew closer, there was a narrow path that was not yet set in flames. 4kuj1 made a dash through it. He could barely breathe, the smoke was overwhelming his lungs. He had to escape.

    Then from the flames intensity the entrance flew open. 4kuj1 saw the outside world. He started for the exit and when be stepped into the outside world, there was a crunch beneath his paws, he looked down to see dry crinkled up brown objects beneath him. Everytime he moved his paw, another cracking could be heard. 4kuj1 didn't look back at the lab, there was no need to. He felt brave and free. He started to frolic until he fell into some brown liquid he splashed about and yelped until be felt a tug on his scruff. He was pulled out of the thick liquid 100% his pelt felt weird and sticky. 4kuj1 turned around to see a she wolf pup the same size as him. "Are you ok...?" She asked. 4kuj1 took a deep breath. "yeah.. Thanks for saving me..." He replied shyly. He took a closer look at the she wolf, her main pelt color was black while she had certain white markings. "I have a question, how did you manage to almost drown in a puddle of mud...?" The she wolf questioned. 4kuj1 felt hot in embarrassment. "I guess the element of surprise..." He replied trying to not sound stupid. The she pup giggled. "My name is Ghost. What's yours?" She barked. 4kuj1 stayed quiet for a moment. "m-my name is really hard to say... Can you understand human writing?" He replied. Ghost looked at him reassuringly. "A little." She replied. 4kuj1 wrote his name in the dirt with his paw.  "That's my name." He announced. Ghost closely examined it. "Akuji?" She asked, making sure it was correct. 4kuj1 paused for a moment. Do I want to be reminded of my past everytime someone talks to me or do I want a new name? He thought. "yes." Akuji confirmed. Ghost wagged her tail. She was obviously not used to making friends.
Than a bark sounded from behind a tree "Ghost! Time to go back to the pack!" The bark orders. "y-yes Nightshade!" She replies. "Well, I guess this is bye for now..." Ghost sighed. "Bye!" Akuji calls to Ghost before she rushes to a hidden forest world.

Ghost, no matter how long it is till we meet again, I'll never forget you.

I think I'm understanding love and hope now. I know we didnt talk much, but you gave me hope the second I met.
