Yet another week passed. Two weeks since Jungkook had seen Taehyung and now Jungkook was certain 'time for himself' was no longer needed. It pissed him off knowing Taehyung was ghosting him like that. Just yesterday Jungkook realized he was blocked on all social media along with messages. What did he do this time? Was he moving too fast? Taehyung could have just said so and been mature about it if the relationship wasn't going to work.
Jungkook tapped his foot against the cement while holding onto the stroller he had his daughter in. Usually Jungkook would just let her walk but since she liked sleeping a lot, the stroller was usually a need when he had to do things. The male waited until the street walk sign showed to go and so he started walking, giving a second to check the vehicles and continue walking.
Yes, he was done with this ignoring shit. Jungkook needed an explanation on why he was blocked. He may still be a teen but Jungkook is no longer a immature teen. Jungkook was not about to push it aside like he did before. Why? Because he actually did like Taehyung and if he could have just kept his dick in his pants then they wouldn't be here.
Jungkook looked in the stroller to see TayJa's bottle in her hand while she slept. The male smiled, covering her face from the sun with the cap he put on her. A little while later, TayJa was whining and Jungkook stepped away. "Okay, I'll stop." He spoke with a light chuckle as he stopped messing around with his daughter. Only wanting to make sure the sun wasn't bothering her but Jungkook was the only thing bothering her.
By the time Jungkook got to Taehyung's, TayJa was still sleeping. Heck that girl could sleep for a whole twenty four hours and still be sleepy after that, he swore. Jungkook carried her, TayJa's cheeks squishing up against Jungkook's shoulder as her arms hung on her sides but Jungkook kept a good hold. After the third knock, the door opened. "Yes hold on, someone is here— who are you?" An older female asked after slightly putting her phone down to ask Jungkook.
Jungkook immediately assumed it was Taehyung's mom. "Uh, Taehyung's friend." Jungkook spoke as he patted TayJa's back lightly. The female only nodded and yelled for Taehyung before leaving and getting back to her conversation on the phone. Jungkook stood outside, looking around and waiting for a whole minute before he finally laid eyes on Taehyung. The male practically raced down the stairs but stopped once he saw Jungkook.
Taehyung rubbed his shoulder as he walked outside and shut the door. "What are you doing here?" He asked and Jungkook looked at the boy in disbelief but allowed him to continue. "When you see that someone has blocked you, that means they want nothing to do with you. Get the hint." Taehyung looked at Jungkook who felt like he was punched in the stomach.
"I can't just leave it alone. Unlike you, i'm mature and i'm coming to ask why you suddenly ghosted me. If you didn't want me then you should have told me. How would you feel if I just suddenly stopped talking to you? Blocking you on every social media you have? How would you feel Taehyung? Hm? Tell me." Jungkook tried to stay calm because he had his daughter but also because Taehyung's family were inside.
Taehyung only stayed quiet as he looked elsewhere, a blank expression. It was like he was waiting for Jungkook to give up and leave but Jungkook did the same. Jungkook leaned back on the railing and looked at Taehyung who shook his head and gave up. "I would feel like shit okay? I would wonder what I did wrong." Taehyung mumbled. Jungkook nodded. "Exactly but I had so many thoughts that clouded my mind over these two weeks. Now tell me why."
Taehyung looked at Jungkook who seemed calm. Why was he calm? Taehyung would be fucking raging at Jungkook if Jungkook did that to him. Then again, he's not Jungkook— "Because, I can." Taehyung looked at Jungkook. "So you suddenly decided that you wanted to be an asshole?" Jungkook asked and Taehyung hesitantly nodded. "I don't believe you." Jungkook spoke once more.
"Believe what you want, you're not me." Taehyung scoffed. Jungkook adjusted TayJa in his arms before he looked back at Taehyung. "I'm not you but I do know you and the Kim Taehyung I know is not like this. He doesn't suddenly become an asshole. Maybe he'll send a paragraph or two on why he is ending shit but never would he do this because he is too nice of a person to do so." Jungkook looked at Taehyung.
Taehyung softened. Okay, what the fuck, that was true. The fact that Jungkook knew that made him soft because never had no one noticed. Usually he did so because— "and I know you like acting and if I was just like anyone else, I would leave believing you but I don't. You're a great actor, you really are but you can't fool me Taehyung." Jungkook finished his speaking and pushed TayJa up a bit as he held her.
Taehyung took a minute for himself before he started tearing up. The little wall he put up to keep him acting like an asshole was gone. Also, Taehyung's emotions were everywhere at the moment. Well, they've been like that for awhile now. Taehyung looked down and leaned on the stairs railing as he wiped his tears. Jungkook sighed in relief that he was right, the male going over to give Taehyung a comforting side hug.
Taehyung wrapped his arms around Jungkook's waist for a moment before he pulled away. "Jenah.." he spoke quietly and Jungkook gave Taehyung a questionable look. "Jenah?" He repeated. Taehyung looked at TayJa and smiled lightly before he rubbed his shoulder. "She told me that you guys are a family and if I wanted to make you happy I should stay away.. I don't know what I was thinking.. I just.. I don't know.." Taehyung shrugged and bit his quivering lip.
Jungkook looked at Taehyung who was crying again. All he wanted to do was hug the boy but currently he had his daughter so instead he just rubbed his back. "Jenah, doesn't know shit. She just wants this perfect little family but even if we did try which will never ever, ever happen, we would never work. I don't know her and she doesn't know me. We spent a year together before she left and even then we argued. Besides, I like someone else." Jungkook assured Taehyung, wanting the boy to stop crying since Jungkook didn't want or like to see Taehyung cry.
Taehyung looked up at Jungkook who was smiling down at him. As much as Taehyung wanted to lean in and kiss Jungkook, he couldn't. Mainly because he was still in the closet and if his mom found out then, bye bye Jungkook. So instead, Taehyung smiled back, chuckling lightly. "Poor guy, getting someone like you huh." Taehyung teased with a sniffle and Jungkook rolled his eyes. "Luckiest man on earth to be getting me and my daughter." Jungkook stuck out his tongue playfully.
Finally after two weeks, Taehyung was able to smile genuinely. All Taehyung had to do was talk to Jungkook— which yeah okay that was his fault for blocking Jungkook but Jenah's words did get to him. Even so, Taehyung was happy and he was sure nothing could ruin his happiness. So he thought.
