Lan Wangji ended up carrying Wei Ying to the Lanshi, (The Orchid Room/Lecture all), as he didn't want to wake him from his morning nap. Lan Xichen found it very interesting to see Wangji act this way. Even though Wei Ying was now back in his child form, Lan Wangji was still loving and very much possessive and protective of the boy.

Lan Xichen was happy to see that his Didi had found a love so deep that he'd do almost anything for them. It did also worry Lan Xichen as he knows full well, that Lan Wangji would die for Wei Ying, and he would also kill anyone who even for the smallest things, for example, if anyone had looked at Wei Ying in any offensive way, their head would be ninety percent guaranteed to be removed from its body and on the floor in just a few seconds. Lan Xichen shuttered at the imaginary and thought.

Once they arrived to the lecture hall, luckily, Lan Qiren had no morning classes for that day so he was little more available at the moment, "Shufu, we have an issue we'd like to run by you, but we hope you do not freak out," Lan Xichen started off.

"Xichen, it is early in the morning, I have no energy at the moment to freak out in any way," Lan Qiren said.

"You see, you say that but when you see what our problem is, you might actually be a bit freaked out, maybe concerned," Lan Xichen explained.

Lan Qiren sighed, "so what is the problem?"

"It involves Wei Wuxian," Lan Xichen warned.

Lan Qiren closed his eyes and counted to ten upon hearing that name. He has put up with him for the sake of his nephew. He doesn't want to make his nephew upset by keeping him away from Wei Wuxian. Even if Wei Wuxian was the son of the woman who teased Lan Qiren to no end in the past. Lan Qiren got a bit aggravated when Xichen said the name. Whenever there usually is an issue, it just so happens to revolve around Wei Wuxian.

Lan Qiren managed to recover from that moment of aggravation and looked at Xichen, "why is it always him, when issues arise?" Lan Qiren asked.

"Since he and Wangji married, you have to admit he has not caused any problems within the sect and has been very good about our rules," Lan Xichen said, "but I do have to say trouble does seem to follow him everywhere."

"Wherever there is trouble or chaos, Hanguang Jun isn't that far behind," Lan Qiren mumbled as it was something that became very well known throughout the cultivation world, "just tell me what the issue is?"

"Do you happen to know any sort of time reversal charm that can turn an adult back into a child?" Xichen asked.

"I'd have to look in our forbidden chamber to see if there is such a thing, why?" Lan Qiren asked.

Lan Xichen moved out of the way of Wangji and it was now in full view as to what he was talking about. Lan Qiren saw Lan Wangji holding a young boy. He was once asleep but woke up due to the talking within the room. Lan Qiren took a closer look at the child and saw that it actually was Wei Ying as a young boy.

"When did this happen?" Lan Qiren asked.

"He was like this when I woke up this morning. He has no memory of the war, Mo Xuanyu, nothing. The last thing he remembered was...asking where is parents were," Lan Wangji explained.

"Zhan-Ge, does he know where they are?" Wei Ying asked.

Lan Wangji looked at Xichen and Lan Qiren for help on this one. Lan Qiren held out his arms which was completely unexpected for the elder, "can I speak with him?" Lan Qiren asked. Lan Wangji nodded and with a slight bit of hesitation, he handed Wei Ying to Lan Qiren. Lan Qiren then sat down at his desk with Wei Ying placed on his lap, "Wei Ying, do you know who I am?" He asked.

"This one apologizes or not knowing," Wei Ying said.

Lan Qiren was taken back. Wei Ying was so polite which made sense. If he had no memory of being in Lotus Pier and only the little bit of memory that he had left of his parents, Wei Ying had not been influenced in any way. It goes to show that Wei Ying's parents did raise him to be a good kid but when he was taken into Lotus Pier, it seemed that some of his environment caused him to gain a mischievous side.

"My name is Lan Qiren, but you can call me Shufu," he said, "do you think you know where your parents are?"

Wei Ying sighed, "they left me alone at a hotel. I was there for a couple days but they never came back. I thought if I behaved well they would come back...I've been on my own for a long time now. I thought my parents didn't love me anymore but I think that was wrong. They are gone, aren't they?"

"They may be gone, but their spirits will always remain with you," Lan Qiren told him, "and just know, your parents love you very much. They meant well when they left you behind. They were going somewhere dangerous and they didn't want to risk you getting hurt."

Wei Ying nodded, "So what do I do now?"

"The person you were with, Lan Wangji, will be the one to take care of you, are you okay with that?" Lan Qiren asked.

Wei Ying smiled, "he is nice," Wei Ying said, "he fixed my arms."

"Your arms?" Lan Qiren asked.

"Shufu, when I saw him this morning, he had fresh bite wounds on both of his arms. He told me in the past that on the streets he had to hide from wild hounds because they'd fight him for food," Wangji explained.

"Whoever did this must be very smart and powerful. They not only turned him back into a child but he is back in his original childhood body, not Mo Xuanyu's childhood body. This person even went as far as keeping similar events the same, and it looked as if those wounds only happened recently," Lan Xichen continued to explain, "what do you think?"

"It's hard to say, but I know who ever did that had one of two motives," Lab Qiren said, "since he is young again, anyone who held a grudge against him would have an easier chance to getting to him now that he is this vulnerable. Anyone who has news of this, he could be in danger, and I do not want that. The other motive is to reverse him back to his childhood and have him relearn to be more mature. It's just my theory. I would need the person's motives to know what it is exactly."

"I will protect him," Wangji said confidently, "I don't know if I will take him out too often to keep him from being seen."

"It might be the best idea for now," Lan Qiren said.

Lan Qiren soon let Wei Ying go back to Lan Wangji. Lan Wangji and Lan Xichen were actually surprised by the way this was handled. They expected Lan Qiren to freak out and spit blood, but he was calm and even handled it well. He even had a little connection with Wei Ying. Lan Xichen was still going to find out who is responsible for this incident and ask them why they did it. He just wanted Wangji to live happily and peacefully with his husband. Now that is slightly on hold because someone else had to make a grown man into a child again.
