"Okay guys." Hoseok whispered in the near darkness.
"Be quiet, we made this a secret meeting for a reason." He grinned, so quiet the others had to lean in to hear.
"We aren't that loud, Hoseok." Namjoon whispered back, but then glanced at Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook and chuckled softly, "Never mind." He finished.

"Okay, guys, do any of you know why ARMY acted different towards (Y/n)?" Jin asked into the quiet. They were in the backyard, in their fluffy blankets and their hair was wild, especially Taehyung's.

"Me and Hoseok-Hyung thought it was because maybe.." Jungkook trailed off, not knowing how to explain it.
"Here, it's easier to just see.." Hobi stepped in and showed them the old picture on his instagram.
"Look at the differences." He said and swiped to the photo they had taken just 12 hours back. The members gasped quietly, and Taehyung's eyes widened a lot.
"Wow...I didn't notice how fake we looked in the old one until...now.."
"So ARMY didn't like (Y/n) because we didn't...?" Jimin asked and Yoongi nodded, barely awake.

"Our ARMY loves us and notices things about us much more than we know...I think they definitely must have noticed how fake we looked..." He said quietly, staring at his lap in shame.
The whole group was torn, half of them felt happy and touched that ARMY had noticed such a difference and responded corresponding to their mood. But the other half couldn't focus on anything but the pain and guilt.

"So this time we made it clear that we truly like (Y/n)..and thus ARMY responded by liking him.." Taehyung clarified quietly. Their silence served as his answer.
For a long time, they brooded, their blankets keeping them warm though the outdoors were nice and cool that night.
"Do you think maybe this universe's 'us' and our universes..the one we came from, were supposed to switch?" Jimin asked quietly.

Jin bit his lip, not having thought of that.
"What makes you think that, Jimin?" He asked gently. Jimin ducked his head, feeling stupid.
"Well I-I just mean..maybe this universe's us were going to make the same mistake as us. And we switched to teach both of us a lesson. We already learned that we should never treat someone like that...maybe in order for us to learn, this world's us had to learn too. Which would mean..." He trailed off tentatively.
"Which would mean we are the only ones who made a mistake and we'll be the ones who have to deal with it. Only they get to keep (Y/n). We lost him already, we can't get him back..and it'd completely our fault. ARMY only acted like that because of us." Yoongi finished for him, his voice cracking and it was audible he had a lump in his throat. Jimin nodded, looking up at them with teary eyes.
"Guys I...we already lost him once...I don't want to go back to our world and have him be six feet under again..." He said, his voice breaking several times, tears slipping from his eyes and down his cheeks.
Taehyung wiped his eyes too, blinking rapidly.

"S-Speaking of...of losing him..why specifically did you all dislike him too...?"
