The next day we could see Danny leaving his last class. He smiled at his butterflies. "Well ladies. What do you say we go to the park for some fresh air and get a bit of flower juice on the way."

His 'ladies', the butterflies, fluttered around excitedly and he grinned.

"Danny. Wait."

He turned around to see Mylene walk towards him. She smiled. "Can I go with you on one of your walks?"

"Me too." Marinette butted in. "I'm craving ice cream."

Danny winked. "Good idea. Yeah you can come, but you'll buy your own ice cream."

On they way out they met with Nino who laughed at Danny. "Man you're being swarmed by butterflies and chicks. Smooth, dude."

Danny shook his head. "It's not like that, Nino. You can come if you want. We're taking the Papis out for a walk." Papis, short for Papillons, was Danny's nickname for his butterflies.

"Sorry, man. I got my own chick to take out on a walk today."

Marinette gasped. "You and Alya are going out again?" She pouted. "She didn't tell me."

Mylene smiled brightly. "You should bring her to the park with Danny sometime. The papillons add a special effect and everything looks so romantic."

Nino shrugged. "Maybe it does but in a date you don't take your friend with you." He winked at Danny and he shrugged.

They waved goodbye and went to the park. They sat down on one of the benches after having bought ice cream.

Danny's Papis spread out, flying over the flowers and trees. They didn't necessarily need the polen given that they aren't real butterflies, but they enjoyed the fresh air very much. Danny was also happy to be a little free of them for awhile. He liked them but it could sometimes be too constricting.

Marinette licked her ice cream and tilted her head at the raven haired teen. "Are you sure it isn't too much?"

Danny sighed. He got this talk a lot from Marinette. She was always so worried about him. "Yep. I'm good. Stop worrying about it."

Marinette frowned. "Well someone has to."

Danny paused. That was exactly what Sam would say. He exhaled lightly. He still sometimes missed his two friends. He had told them about the whole situation and Sam was also nagging him to check it and make sure it didn't affect him too much. Danny told them it probably just was his ghost form doing this and they agreed.

Mylene smiled. "I think it's great what you're doing."

Danny spread his arms out dramatically. "Thank you!" He told her, pointedly looking at Marinette, who huffed.

"I think it's great too. I'm just saying."

"And I'm telling you not to worry about it. Ladybug and Chat Noir probably appreciate the help."

Marinette pursed her lips.

Danny continued. "Besides, I think they are busy enough stopping non-super villains or accidents." Danny had wanted to help out on those too but if he went ghost they would recognize him as Phantom from Amity Park. That wouldn't have been so bad except the butterflies would still follow him around and well....

Firstly, everyone would know it was him, not to mention his parents.

Secondly, his ladies would get in the way or get hurt. He'd grown rather attached to them.

He shooed one of them from landing on his ice cream and smiled at the girls. "Let's change the subject alright? So Marinette, when are you gonna ask Adrien out?"
