Clip City is made up. Most of the settings I had come up before were fantasy lands or small towns. Creating an modern city was a fun challenge. It is inspired by many cities, New York City and my nearby Indianapolis being two of them.

It is in America, on one of the Coasts. I will leave you to decide which state it's in. It was founded by Christian Clip, known for wearing a wolf bracelet, in 1793. He was the painting leader of a group of settlers, looking for inspiration and a better life.

Today, Clip City's main trade is imports and exports, having a natural harbor. It is widely known for the large amount of artists it hosts. This and the other large amount of family run businesses is part of the large economy.

Recently, it has become famous for its supervillain Megabat and it's superhero duo of Butterfly and Black Cat.
