All around me people were dancing. I can't believe I was dancing with Jordan! I broke away in the middle of the dance.

"I'll go get some punch," I said.

"OK," Jordan exclaimed.

I walked over to the refreshment table and got some punch. I took a sip of it. Jordan strolled over to me. He put a arm around my waist.

"Enjoying that punch?" he asked.

"Yes," I answered, drinking more of the punch.

"I have something to tell you..." 

I almost choked on my punch. What was he gonna say? Was it gonna be shocking?

"Vanessa, another girl likes me..." Jordan trailed off.

I choked on my punch. Jordan patted my back. "What?! Who is it? Do you like me than that other girl?" I sputtered.

"Calm down, it's OK. Her name is Hannah."

I gasped. "Hannah! A couple days ago I asked Zack if she likes him. He said he doesn't know! But now Hannah likes you!" 

I couldn't believe it! Hannah! Why would Jordan tell me at a time like this?

"But.... I like you. Not Hannah. So don't worry."

A wave of relief washed over me. I sighed a sigh of relief. Thank goodness Jordan likes me than Hannah.

"Let's get back to dancing, shall we?" Jordan said, holding out his hand.

I took his hand and followed him over to the dance floor.
