Before You Begin
❝ I'm never leaving you, babygirl. Because... you will always be my Buttercup. ❞

❝ Yes, we're on the edge,
It's true that I've been caught up in my mind.
Okay, I took it for granted,
But I can't lose you this time,
I've changed me, now. ❞

Hosoek has been missing something. He just didn't know what.
After years of being single, and shrugging off his family's questions about him 'getting married', he finds himself nervous when he has to do a business pitch for a new client. The beautiful woman leaves him feeling hung up.
And she also seems very, very familiar.
But his best friend and his wife seem to know something that he, Hoseok, doesn't.
Will his best friend and business partner, Yoongi, have the answer to his questions?

Hi Army!
Thank you for clicking on this book!
This is actually my first BTS fanfiction! However, I published 'The Inheritance' first.
Even though I'm OT7, I often find myself gravitating towards J-Hope! I have TWO Jung Hoseok fanfic stories, viz.:
🔸Buttercup
🔸Strawberry Liquorice 🔞
🔸I also have an Imagine This book that will be published in 2025 (hopefully 🤞🏻)!
I made this book into a fluff romance because I felt that smut wouldn't be the best in this kind of "family" story. (It was previously meant to have some smut but yeah I'm not changing my mind.)
જ⁀➴♥ Some Common Korean Vocab used in the story:
Anyeonghaseyo - Hello
Appa - dad
Gwaenchanah - it's fine or I'm fine
Hyung - a guy's older brother or a friend of his that's older than him (even by a few days).
Hyung-su - a guy's sister-in-law (even if she's his friend's wife - but I guess it depends on how close the friends are...)
Minali - Buttercup (flower)
Ne - means Yes or can be used to express agreement with a statement.
Omma - Mom/mum
Oppa - older brother or can be used out of respect for a guy around your age that you aren't related to (it can also be used as an affectionate name for your boyfriend in the same way we use the word 'baby' in English).
Pabo - fool or idiot (can mean silly)
Ssi-bal - the English equivalent is 'F*ck'.
Ya! - Used in the way we'd use 'Hey!' to get someone's attention or express emotion in English.
