FEELING SICK NEVER is a good feeling. it's uncomfortable, disgusting, some people might even panic. you're one of the lucky ones if you haven't thrown up in years because there are people who throw up everytime their sick or girls who throw up when they're on their period. not to forget the people that throw up when driving, flying or on boats.

lacey never was motion sick but right now she wanted to throw up more than ever so that the disgusting feeling would just disappear. the car ride home made her so incredibly uncomfortable and all that just because of jaden. on one side she was sure that he wouldn't talk to her yet but on the other hand she was afraid that he would.

the girl really wanted to have a good time, befriend some of the boys but she wasn't ready to confront jaden, her best friend. for all these years, lacey tried to act like she didn't have a toxic mindset but everyone around her that knew of jaden could see it.

she was far away from being over the heartbreak he caused and she needed to learn that avoiding a topic doesn't mean you forget it.

"are you okay, lacey? you've been acting weird the whole day", mia pointed out and grabbed her friend's shoulder in an act of comfort.

"yeah, don't worry. i think i'm getting motion sick or something", lacey told a lie she tried to believe and smiled at mia before staring out of the window again.

she watched the big houses and palms passing until they finally arrived back home. this time she didn't jump out first, she even waited for everyone else to get out.

"your house looks really pretty", griffin said as he walked over to the girl's car. the sway boys had been driving behind the girls in their own car.

"thanks, can we go in now?", bailey suddenly threw in before she walked up to the door, waiting for mia who had the keys.

"you can do whatever you want as long as you don't break our shit, okay?", mia asked the boys while throwing the keys to bailey who didn't even catch them.

"i just wanted to play mario kart!", kio said and pouted slightly.

"love how he's acting like that doesn't give you a reason to break stuff", bea chuckled and grabbed a bag before joining bailey and mia.

the young adults walked into the house. the boys took their time to look at everything before they payed attention to the girls again.

lacey slipped out of her shoes before she walked into the living room to get everything ready for evelina's and kio's nintendo battle. "the tv and the wii is on, you can play now."

"a wii? you have such a house and a wii?", bryce asked surprised and raised a brow.

"dude, wii's are superior and literally the best console", lacey quickly defended her wii and then turned to the other boys that hadn't joined evelina and kio yet.

"mi casa es su casa. you can take stuff out of the fridge but there isn't much in there. we have enough drinks for everyone and just tell me or any other girl if you want to order pizza", she said and watched the boys follow their friend into the living room before she walked to the stairs.

"and what are you gonna do?", bryce asked crossing his arms, making his biceps tense.

"i am gonna change, then i will put your shirt into the washer so it doesn't smell like me when you get it back and then i will probably go into the pool or something", lacey said and waited for bryce to reply with something but he didn't. instead he followed her up to her room.

"you don't have to follow me, you know?"

"yeah and you don't have to wash my shirt before giving it back to me", bryce said back and pulled on the bottom of his shirt before she let go again.

"i just don't like giving people stuff that smells like me, it's weird", she said and opened her window before turning to the boy again. "you can sit on my bed if you want to."

bryce instantly sat down on her bed and turned away from her, knowing that she wanted to change. he heard her removing her clothes and slightly flinched when he felt his shirt landing on him. he waited until lacey told him it was okay to turn around again.

"you know what? you should really wash it before you give it back to me", bryce grinned and put his shirt down before looking back up at lacey who seemed to be frustrated.

"can you like... decide what you want?", she asked and rolled her eyes before grabbing the shirt and motioning him to get up. she then walked out of her room to the washroom where she put the shirt in a washing machine.

"so are we going to swim now?", bryce asked and lacey halted.

"why are you following me like a lost puppy, bryce?", she asked annoyed before a stupid thought crossed her mind. "did he tell you to do this?"

"who?", bryce was confused and didn't know who lacey was talking about. he noticed how her face went from anger to nervousness before it relaxed.

"forget it, sorry", she mumbled and sprinted down the stairs as she headed to grab an arizona ice tea for her and a white claw for bryce.

"how did you know i like them?", he asked but didn't receive an answer from lacey who walked over to her friends who were all seated around kio and evelina.

"who's winning?"

"evelina of course", anthony answered and got a quick glare from kio.

"what is that supposed to mean, dude?"

"you know exactly what it means. even your friends know that i'm better than you", evelina answered kio's question and laughed before she kicked him off the rainbow boulevard.

"me and bryce are going out, does anyone want to come with us?", lacey asked and waited for an answer. mia, bea and josh decided to join them.

on the way out, lacey grabbed her vlog camera that had been charging the whole day. when she exited the living room, bryce and josh were already shirtless and ready to jump into the pool.

"it's probably cold, guys!", lacey said but the boys didn't care and jumped into the water, leading to lacey getting a little wet. she didn't mind though.

"are you filming?", bea asked as she got out of her clothes and sat on one of the chairs to tan in the last minutes the sun was still up. lacey answered with a nod before she eventually started the video.

"hey guys, welcome to a new vlog. yeah, i'm sorry that i was so damn inactive but we moved as y'all probably know. this is not the house tour but i swear i'm gonna do one!", she said and turned around until the background looked better.

"today we're hanging with the sway boys as some of you may already know at the time this video is out. evelina invited kio and now they're battling each other in the living room. bailey is probably gonna join them and i guess anthony or griffin are gonna do too. i seriously have no clue where venus is, maybe she's taking a shower...", lacey interrupted herself and tried to look around the corner of the house to see if the bathroom window was open or closed before she looked back at the camera. "and i'm outside with josh, bryce, bea and mia. did i forget someone?"

"jaden is there too", josh quickly added to which lacey just mumbled a quiet 'yeah, whatever' that she would probably cut out later. bryce noticed that she said something afterwards and if he remembered her weird behaviour when he had followed her, he would have realized that there could be a connection but he didn't.

"before any weird rumors pop up, we found the boys at the beach today. bryce made some stupid comments, kio hit me with a ball, then he battled evelina and bryce got me wet."

"i like the way you said it", bryce grinned at the girl but ended up getting water splashed in the face by josh.

"thank you, josh", lacey said and walked over to mia and bea to sit with them. "so, ladies. what do we think of the sway boys?"

"hmm", mia started and put her hand on her chin to show that she was thinking but she clearly exaggerated. "kio has shown the most personality and he's really cool. i always thought he was that introverted shy guy but i think he's very energetic actually."

"yeah, he's cool", lacey and bea agreed at the same time to which they just chuckled before bea moved on.

"griffin seems to be nice. he's actually very different than i thought he was and venus and bailey said that he's good company", the blonde said.

"so, husband material?", lacey joked and turned to mia since she was the mum of the group.

"oh please, y'all are still babies!", she said and hit lacey in a friendly way before talking about the next boy. "i've always loved anthony, he's so authentic and sweet, y'know?"

both girls agreed with their friend before bryce interrupted them. "and when are you gonna talk about josh and me?", he asked which actually relieved lacey since jaden probably would've been the next in line.

"we still need to talk about jaden though!", bea argued but was cut off by lacey.

"yeah but they are here right now, let's just skip him!"

lacey turned the camera around so that she was filming the two boys in the water who made their way to the pool edge.

"josh is really cool, we haven't talked much yet but he splashed water into bryce's face for me so he's amazing", lacey said before she zoomed into bryce's face. "but this boy right here is a dumbass and the only thing he can do is looking good and look respectfully because believe it or not, he has looked away everytime i passed him in a bikini."

"he just knows that you're too hot to handle."

"exactly, bea. thank you my friend", lacey said and everyone giggled except for bryce.

"at least she called me good looking", he mumbled before pouting slightly but he quickly joined the laughter.

the door to the backyard opened and anthony stepped out, making his way over to lacey like a shy little kid that wants to ask their mum when their heading home.

"lacey, can we order pizza?", he asked and noticed the camera. "hi lacey's viewers."

the girl frowned and asked him why he didn't just go to evelina, bailey or venus.

"i asked evelina and bailey but they're still playing video games with kio and griffin. and i think venus is still showering. i also lost jaden", anthony looked down at lacey, waiting for her to say yes and order the damn pizza but everything he got was a confused look.

"you're like a very big baby when you're hungry but okay, we're gonna order pizza now", she said and pulled out her phone, giving mia the camera so she could keep filming.

"i want like... anything. i'm gonna search jaden now!", anthony rushed off, already calling for his friend.

"guys can you come out of the water for a second and decide which pizza you want?", lacey asked.

"should we do it in a cool way so you can use it for clickbait?", bryce asked and got ready before lacey even answered.

"do whatever you want, i really don't care because i don't need you for people to watch my videos, keep that in mind", lacey said and walked over to josh who seemed to need help with getting out of the water because he looked like a seal attempting to.

"you better look away before i get you wet all over again", bryce grinned as everyone around him looked at him disgustedly.

"bro what the fuck?", josh asked before thanking lacey for helping him out.

"you know what? just stay in there", lacey mumbled and walked back to her seat to start ordering the pizza.

"i'm sorry, i'm sorry. i was just joking", bryce raised his hands in defense before getting out as well, grabbing a towel and standing right next to lacey which eventually led to her getting wet again.

"what is wrong with you, bryce hall", she mumbled, trying to hold back her grin as she pushed him away from her.

lacey asked her friends, josh and bryce for their wishes and also asked them what she should get for the others before ordering their food and putting her phone away again.

"since i want to eat and get in the water now and have to undress in order to do so i'm gonna end the video now. hope y'all have a great day, bye", she said and mia ended the video before giving her the camera.

"let's get everything ready to eat inside", bea said and got up, putting her shirt back on.

the five young adults headed inside and prepared everything. mia payed for the pizzas when they arrived and josh helped her carry them inside. kio and evelina decided to end their battle for now, leaving evelina as the winner. the group started eating and it felt like they knew each other for years, months at least. everyone joked around making lacey feel so comfortable that she even forgot that jaden was still there. she was happy and jaden saw her being happy which made him happy too.

"so you sing, right?", bryce asked the girl sitting next to him as he bit in another piece of his pizza. lacey answered with a simple nod and took a sip of her water. "how long?"

"when i was little i danced pretty professional and around that time i also started singing, i was just getting into music but i was more interested in dancing. i stopped dancing when i got into middle school but kept singing and i started posting my covers after i parted ways with an old friend of mine", lacey answered and looked at jaden for a second before she looked back at bryce. "didn't you bring out a song a few months ago?"

bryce chuckled before squinting his eyes and moving his head from one direction into the other. "it was a disstrack for lil huddy. i made it with josh though. you should listen to it."

"maybe i'll make a reaction on my youtube channel", she said and reached for another piece of her pizza. "you could be in it too, explaining stuff i don't understand."

bryce smiled at her as he nodded excitedly. "yeah, sure. that would be awesome. but you also have to be in one of my videos because that would be fair, you know?", he suggested and lacey nodded.

"deal. you're actually pretty cool, bryce hall", lacey said quietly and smiled at him before turning a bit more in evelina's direction to join her conversation.
