Hybrids have been around since 1000s of years back and initially they co-existed well but as time went on the human began hunting and doing all sorts of experiments them leading many of them to go back to the wild and their population also decreases greatly leaving just countable number of individuals left in each hybrid groups. And thus from the year 2000 a ban was kept on hunting and other illegal activities being conducted on the hybrids . This ban had helped alot in bringing the hybrid population back up but alot of the present generation of hybrids were orphans or suffered from the attacks of the poachers and scientists themselves. And the government didn't have any records on the ways of the hybrids so the hybrids were often left to figure out stuff by themselves with no one or nothing to guide them how to.

Hybrids had 4 kinds of ranks :

Alpha: the highest ranking among hybrids and often the leaders and dominant one in a group

Beta: they are the middlemen, they are usually the most level headed people. They are dominant to the ranks below them and submissive towards alphas

Omega : the most submissive among the presenting ranks. They occupy the lowest number among the hybrid population.

Dud: they are the hybrid who failed to present and shift into their animal halves. Weakest among the hybrids
