Valentina's POV
"I just don't understand your story," Orochimaru looked at me suspiciously.

"She's gone psycho! I would never be in a relationship with Karen!" Suigetsu agreed.

I threw the notebook across the room in frustration. I literally just WROTE them the whole story about how I travelled from another dimension where we turned good, got full pardon by Konoha, I had to raise Itachi's daughter after I killed his wife and how baby Lily killed herself because of all of the lies we told.

"Now now, Valentina. You know well that I don't tolerate tantrums."

"I think we should believe her and fulfill her request," Karin finally spoke. "I mean she's a great anbu-"
I love Karen. She's always sticking up for me no matter how mental I sound.

Orochimaru walked over to me and grabbed my jaw forcing me to look at him.

"I hope you understand why this is suspicious to me. After years of being a mute and barely now you want to speak?"

I looked down feeling defeated.

"I'll give you the ability to speak, but as soon as you do something I don't like, I will kill you." Orochimaru finally said after a long pause and I've never felt more happy in my life.

Karin and I walked happily towards the Konoha entrance.

"I really hope you're not planning to outsmart Orochimaru," Karin looked at me dead serious. She was afraid of Orochimaru-Sama.

"I wouldn't." And then I stopped. It was weird hearing my voice. "I wouldn't betray Orochimaru-sama." I finally finished my sentence. I was afraid of him too.

"Okay. Now you got what you wanted. Make sure to not do anything reckless," Karin warned me.

I rolled my eyes. "I promise I won't betray Orochimaru-sama." I assured her. I just wanted MY happy ending.

Suddenly I bumped into a strong wall and fell to the floor.

"I'm so sorry," a pair of strong arms pulled me to my feet and I met with dark eyes.

Itachi's eyes.

"It's fine. It's my fault," I quickly smiled looking down feeling my face bright red.

He just returned a half smile to me and Karin and continue to go his marry way.

Karin laughed at me and said something along the lines of me having to show up for anbu training tomorrow or else Orochimaru would be upset. But I wasn't listening to her.

Itachi smiled at me. That must mean that he loves me.
