Valentina's POV
"Okay so this is everything, right?" Lilian asked me.

I nodded and handed her an old shirt that belonged to Itachi.

"Okay distract Itachi, and I am going to hand Hidan the things so he can do the ritual." Lilian grabbed the shirt inside her drawer along with the other stuff that also belonged to Itachi.

I nodded and entered her bedroom's bathroom to use the restroom as she headed outside to give the stuff to Hidan.

Once I was finished I opened the bathroom's door and was greeted by Obito.

"Valentina-Chan, we need to talk." The masked man grabbed my arms.

"Hey Tobi-Kun! Let's all go downstairs and talk." As soon as Lilian was gone she came back. Her voice sounded cheerful but her eyes revealed fear.

As soon as Obito let go of me, I ran downstairs. I met with Itachi halfway who happened to just be returning from his mission.

He looked at my eyes and hugged me. "Did he hurt you?" Itachi whispered low enough for only to me to hear.

"Woah, calm down Mr. and Mrs. Uchiha." Kisame joked not noticing the fear in my eyes and the worried in his partner's voice.

"Guys, Leader-sama is coming." Lilian's warning could be heard throughout the living room as she quickly rushed down the stairs still holding Obito's hand. Taking him with her. How can she stay in character?

Obito stopped in his tracks and him and Itachi stared at each other after what felt forever.

"Not right now guys! Leader-sama is coming down the stairs!" Lilian sounded scared now. However, neither Obito or Itachi broke the eye contact. Lilian looked nervous and seemed as if she wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.

"Hey no PDA!" Hidan yelled in an exaggerated deep voice trying to imitate Leader-sama as he came down the stairs.

"Take her with you. I'll be down in a bit." Itachi told Hidan and Hidan nodded and led me downstairs.
Lilian and Obito close behind us.

"Alright go make breakfast Lilian. It ain't gonna cook itself." Hidan attempted to lightened the mood as as we all reached downstairs.

"Yeah. Come help me Tobi." Lilian quickly dragged the masked man to the kitchen with her.

"Okay. Lilian already gave me Itachi's stuff already. Everything is ready to bring his family back to life. Any questions? Concerns?" Hidan whispered when we were finally alone in the living room.
I gave him a death glare because he knew that I couldn't talk.

Itachi walked next to me and wrapped his arm around me.

"You're going to love me after this, Itachi-San," Hidan laughed and walked outside.

"What was that about?" Itachi mumbled to himself.

"Itachi-san! Did you just shower?" Lilian ran to the living room.

"Yes," Itachi replied.

"Okay. Go lay down in your room and try to keep warm. I'm going to check the surroundings. We leave in ten minutes," Lilian whispered looking around the living room.

I walked with Itachi up the stairs and with the corner of my eyes I thought I saw Obito looking at us from the kitchen. But I'm not sure. I never am.

I lay down under the sheets next to Itachi.

"Are you cold?" He asked me. I shook my head no but hugged him anyway wanting to keep him warm. He had just arrived from a mission that required him to be outside in the snow. Then he showered in the cold  weather and we were about to head out in a few minutes.

"Everything will be okay," he assured me as he kissed my forehead and ran his fingers through my hair. But deep down I had a feeling that things weren't going to be okay.
I already knew how this story would end.

Itachi lifted my chin and we made eye contact. "You are my wife," he took off his crimson Akatsuki ring and placed it on my left ring finger. "I, Itachi Uchiha, promise to love and care for you for the rest of my life. I will love you until the day that I die."

Until the day that he dies. Not the day that I die. Until he dies.

"It's time," Lilian opened the door to Itachi's room. We quickly got up and put our Akatsuki cloaks on.

"Hidan will try to distract Tobi for the longest that he can," I could only hear bits and pieces from Itachi's and Lilian's conversation. My heart was pounding so loud.

The walked downstairs and out of the lair felt like a blur.

Itachi walked really close to me holding my hand bringing me some warmth.

"So the three of you thought that it would be this easy?"

We all turned around and saw Obito standing a few feet behind us.

Itachi activated his sharingan and got in front of Lilian and me.

I quickly grabbed Itachi's arm pulling him closer to me. I didn't want him to fight Obito. Itachi quickly hugged me trying to protect me from an angry Obito.

"Leave us alone," Lilian said walking in front of a hugging Itachi and I.

"You are getting in the way," Obito pointed at us.

"Tobi!" Hidan tackled him to the ground. "Relax!! Everything will be okay."

"You four don't seem to understand how life works. Hope never lasts long-" Obito began.

"Shut up Tobi and look!" Hidan pointed behind us.

I turned to look at what he was looking at.

A woman in her 20s with long brown hair and purple stripes across her cheeks came from behind the trees.

"Rin...." Obito stopped struggling with Hidan and Hidan quickly got off him.

Rin??? Why is Rin alive?! Did Lilian give Hidan Rin's headband too??!

"Obito!" She ran into his arms.

"Rin! How are you still alive?" Obito sounded shock and Itachi quickly grabbed my arm leading me away from the scene. Leading me and Lilian to Konoha. Away from a broken Obito and comforting Rin. I couldn't see them anyone. Couldn't hear them anymore. I didn't want to. It was as if relieving the day that he died. That she took him with her.

Suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my chest.

I fell to the floor and Itachi quickly got on his knees trying to aid me.

"She got stabbed!" He yelled and I touched my chest to see what was causing the pain. However my attention was focused on the sadness and anger in his voice.

"Shit! We're surrounded!" Lilian's screams deafened me but anger quickly replaced my confusion and fear as my vision and hearing began to fade.

"Everything will be okay, my love," Itachi assured me, yet despite being next to me, he sounded so far away.

I held into his hand knowing that things would never be okay. Knowing that I was going to die.

Anger quickly began to fade as I realized that I was going to have to die, get revived by Orochimaru like I did in the past...but the story wouldn't repeat itself. I refuse to stay alone raising a child the man I loved had with another woman.

I will make sure that Itachi doesn't end up with Lilian, was the only comforting thought that I could think before I died.
