Valentina's POV

I stood frozen in place having Itachi hold one of my hands and Obito holding me back by my arm.

The tension grew to the point that Itachi activated his sharingan. Upon seeing this, however, Kisame quickly grabbed Itachi's shoulder. "Itachi-San! Are you okay?" Itachi's debilitating jutsu was a secret that only a few members knew, but Kisame couldn't help but worry for his partner. Over using the sharingan could leave Itachi permanently blind.

"I'll see you over there, Itachi-San." Breaking free from his grip and allowing the masked man to guide me to the opposite side was then only thing that I could do to avoid a fight.

"I'll ride with you too, Valentina," Lilian noticed the situation and quickly followed the masked man dragging Hidan behind her. I locked eyes with Lilian, and my expression was of sincere appreciation. I was certain that Lilian was a good person. In fact, Lilian's kindness towards me made her feel sick to my stomach.

However, I would take Itachi away from Lilian no matter how guilty I felt. I would kill Lilian again if I had to now that I knew the sentiments I have always felt for Itachi were shared.

"Ah yeah, riding with Tobi, my man!" Hidan seemed very happy. Maybe because he blindly believed that Tobi was fun to be around. Funny how not a lot of people could see passed the masked man's childish and immature act.

Lilian, Hidan, Tobi and Deidara, and myself rode on the second clay bird that flew closely behind the first one.

My eyes were glued on the first bird trying to find Itachi, however the cold air hitting my face made it difficult to see.

"Ugh I'm so tired. I'm going to lay down and go to sleep." Lilian yawned and looked at Hidan seductively.

"Lily-Chan is going to sleep and she's going to fall off the clay bird," Hidan joked and Deidara and Tobi bursted out laughing causing me to turn to look their way.

I couldn't help but roll my eyes. Hidan truly was such an idiot. It was obvious Lilian said that so that Hidan could flirt back or something, yet the Jashinist was oblivious.

"So Valentina-Chan, are you and weasel together?" Hidan's attention turned to me, as he caught a glimpse of me rolling my eyes.

Deidara turned to look at me shocked. "You're dating Uchiha boy??"

"What? No." Lies quickly escaped my lips, and I felt horrible denying my relationship with Itachi Uchiha.
I was overjoyed knowing that the murderer of the Uchiha clan returned my feelings, but the thought of Obito knowing of this relationship made my stomach hurt.

"Ohhhhh Valentina you're a player!!!!!" Hidan laughed. I just forced a smile at the Jashinist's comments, but knew that a certain someone wasn't please with my response. That certain someone didn't believe a word I just said.

Avoiding eye contact with Obito who was awfully quiet whenever Hidan talked to me was the only thing that I could do.

"We should play spin the bottle," Lilian said taking out an empty alcohol bottle from her suitcase.

I couldn't help but stare at the older girl after the suggestion she just made. Was she really that desperate to get a kiss from the religious freak? What went on in Lilian's head truly was a mystery to me. I rather jump off the clay bird and die than to lose Itachi to the older woman for a second time.

"Alright ayeeeee," Deidara agreed and everyone formed a circle. Soon I was in between Deidara and Obito.

"I don't want to kiss you guys," I finally said not wanting to be part of the game or conversation.

"Awe, Valentina doesn't want to cheat on weasel boy." Hidan teased as Obito glared daggers at me.

"It's nothing like that!" I quickly assured Hidan who just laughed at my response. My voice quickly turned desperate as the stare coming from the Uchiha who sat next to me became more intense.

"Then play." Was all Hidan said not really caring of the tension that was forming because of him.

I watched the bottle spin for minutes. Mostly hitting on no one.
My mind fantasized about leaving with Itachi. But how would he conceive baby Lily with Lilian if him and I loved each other?
The thought disgusted me.

"Lily-Chan, Tobi doesn't know how to kiss!" Obito's fake childish Tobi voice made me look up from the bottle.

It had landed on Obito and Lilian.

I watched as Obito lifted his mask to reveal his lips and kissed Lilian. The pain forming in my stomach due to witnessing the kiss couldn't help but make me wonder if it was possible to love two men at the same time. Even if it were, I quickly decided that Itachi was the safer and bestest option for me. Reason being that Itachi would not spend eternity loving another woman that weren't me.

"Get it, Tobi!!!" Hidan cheered causing Deidara to laugh.

I avoided looking at Obito after that.
If Lilian's plan was to kiss Hidan by playing that game, then it was a failed attempt and a bad idea.

"Ahh yeah! Your turn, Valentina!" Lilian cheered.

I was awoken from my thoughts as my eyes landed on the empty alcohol bottle pointing at Deidara and myself. My heartbeat accelerated as the blond leaned in for a kiss, and I couldn't help but quickly move my face and kiss him on the cheek instead.
I couldn't cheat on Itachi. I really wanted something serious with the Uchiha, and I was not going to allow a stupid game ruin a relationship I craved for my entire life.

"Boo boring," Hidan booed.

Before I could reply to the religious man's mean comments, the clay bird began to descend from the high skies.

Once on ground level, I hopped off to the floor and ran towards Itachi who had already arrived and was standing with other members.

"My love." Itachi couldn't help but smile as he ran his fingers through my hair. We were truly happy to see each other, and the other Akatsuki members could tell.

"What is this shit??? I thought we were staying in a luxurious hotel??!" Hidan loudly complained, ignoring the romantic scene unfolding a couple of feet from him.

Hidan's loud complains woke me from my trance and I finally scanned my surroundings. The Jashinist was right, we were in the middle of snow-covered woods. How would we sleep there in the cold?

"You guys took long. Leader-sama just left. He wants us to camp around this area until tomorrow morning." Kakuzu pointed to some tent/camping material laying on the snow.

"Hidan and the others already suspect that we're together. Tobi was there too and was unusually quiet. We can't be seen together all the time. I think Tobi knows," I whispered in Itachi's ear as Hidan loudly argued with Kakuzu.

"Don't look back but Tobi is looking our way. I'll see you tonight in my tent then." Itachi whispered as I nodded and walked to the direction of Deidara. I couldn't help but feel worried as the masked man quickly joined the conversation Deidara and I were having.
