George had finished moping and was plain concerned by now. Clay still hadn't messaged him and there hadn't been any new posts about Dream since the one speculating a relationship between him and Keres. He'd seemingly just disappeared since yesterday.

Logically, he could have been put on a media cleanse or something similar by management. That seems like something they'd do. Or he could just be very busy and forgot to check in with George yesterday. A single day isn't even all that long to go without communication.

But George wasn't thinking logically. What if something had happened to him? He and Vincent had had an argument and Vincent was staying with Zak and Darryl. That means that Clay would have been home alone last night. What if someone had found where he lived?

George heard a soft chirrup as the door to his room creaked open. In trotted Bartholomew, collar jingling as he approached. Nick had left after George had convinced him near a hundred times that he really was okay now and would call if he wasn't, so it was just him and Mew.

"Hey baby," George called, stretching an arm out towards him. Mew bumped his hand, purring. He meowed up at George repeatedly as he walked back and forth beneath his hand.

"I know, I shouldn't sit and freak out. I'm just worried about him. What if something happened?" George spoke. Mew hopped his way onto George's lap and pawed at his legs before curling up. George smiled fondly, petting Mew for a moment before getting an idea.

He pulled out his phone and smiled up at the camera, one hand still resting on Mew.

Ouch.

Okay, so, Clay wasn't on a digital detox or anything similar. He just wasn't talking to George for some reason. That's great. There's got to be some kind of explanation for that. There has to be.

George couldn't think of one.

Why was Clay ignoring him? Had he done something wrong? Was Clay angry with him? Everyone had said that Clay was just busy and stressed, surely he wouldn't bother reading the message if he was too busy to reply. So what had George done wrong?

He scrolled through their messages but came up empty. He moved to twitter and looked through his own posts and found nothing there either. He noticed Nick's tweet from last night and wondered whether it could have been that. Clay had liked it so he'd obviously seen it. Was he jealous of Nick? Because Nick was actually fucking there for him when George needed him?

George was getting pissed off now. He couldn't find anything he'd done wrong so why wouldn't Clay respond to him? Why was Clay ignoring him? George huffed angrily and made his way to the kitchen in search of food, having tipped Bartholomew from his lap.

George wasn't entirely sure that Ophelia was a good influence on him but he didn't really care. Clay got one week. One week to reply, to message, to call, to do anything to let George know he's okay and what's going on. And, if he didn't, George would go to him.

George contemplated telling Clay that. Giving Clay his ultimatum, since Clay was happy to read his message and not reply, and leaving it at that. He decided against it, instead moving to send screenshots of he and Ophelia's conversation to Nick by way of explanation and invite. Nick had made some fuss about being the sidehoe before vehemently agreeing.

And with that, it was decided. Clay had a week to come to George. If he didn't, George would go to him.

George booted up his pc and got ready for another stream.
