Today I hung out with her again.
We were up a hill, sitting in our usual spot next to an ever-growing tree sapling. I glanced over to her and watched as her hair gracefully flowed to the soothing breeze. Her eyes were closed in a contemplative manner, and her lips were curved into a gentle smile.
I closed my eyes and let my own self feel the wind's caress on my face. When all at once, a sudden gust blew furiously, making me open my eyes. I looked up and saw that the blue skies had suddenly turned dark, and I assumed that it would most likely rain soon.
I turned to my left to tell her, but she was gone.
I got up to my feet and scanned my surroundings, hastily looking for where she could have gone off to. I didn't see a single sign of her, but instead, I saw a door. A single white, wooden door that stood independently in mid-air.
I simply stared at it for about a good minute until something pricked the bridge of my nose -- It was a raindrop. I pressed the area with my hand, then looked up to the gloomy sky. That was when the rest of the rain began to fall. And it fell heavily, quickly.
I glanced around me once more, and seeing as there was no shelter for me to run underneath to for miles on end, I hesitantly grabbed the doorknob to the mysterious door, turned it, and to my surprise, there was a room inside.
