Bargaining
I was now staring at a blank, brick wall. I glanced around, and found yet another wooden door as before. It was actually attached to a wall this time. And from what I've seen so far, she and these doors were somehow connected, so I went on ahead and entered through the door.
This time, I came upon a white hallway. And by that I meant that the walls were white; the ceiling was white; and the floor tiles were white. But amidst all that, I saw a shadow, then a figure, walking across the hallway.
It was her.
She walked slowly, as if she was tired, then silently opened up a door and went through it. It was only by that time that I had come to my senses and immediately sprinted towards the door, praying that I would reach it before it closes.
But alas...
The door appeared to have been locked shut on the moment I reached it. I tried knocking and calling out, till I resorted to banging the door and shouting, pleading for someone, anyone, to just open up the door. I even ended up trying to make a deal with the door itself wherein I would hand it all of my money just so I could get in.
After completely exhausting myself with near-endless babbling to particularly no one, I finally gave up and sat down on the floor, laying my back against the door, taking back in all that oxygen I had lost from my lungs.
I then felt my head move back, and before I knew what was happening, I was falling back.
