* It was half past midnight as the villagers of dreamtale were already asleep in their homes,lanterns were hanging on some of the houses & if you look into the large grassy field you also see a bunch of fireflies lighting up their pretty lights *

* Nightmare the guardian of Negative emotions sat against the tree of feelings quietly packing some items into a handmade bag while trying very hard not to wake up his twin brother who was sleeping peacefully next to him all wrapped up in the yellow flag *

"I'm so sorry Dream....but I can't take it anymore" he thought,putting the last item in the bag then quietly standing up,now picking up a cape that was laying beside him & putting it on *

* The Thought of running away has always creep into Nightmare but when it does he always brushes it off or pushes it in the back of his mind as he didn't want to leave his brother alone watching over the tree & leaving him alone in general *
* But as days go by & the bullying got worse,the thought kept coming back more often & it was getting very hard to ignore *

"It's for the best anyway" he thought,"those villagers,mother,& Dream won't have to deal with a burden like me.....anymore"

* purple tears threatened to come out of the Guardian's eye sockets but he wiped them away with his sleeve then took a deep but silent breath *

"n.no time to cry Nightmare" he thought,"time to get moving before Dream wakes up"

* but not before taping a letter on the tree & giving his twin one final goodbye *

"goodbye Dream...I hope we can meet again someday"he whispered,"you will always be the best brother I can ever ask for...I love you"

* with that The former Guardian of Negative emotions quietly walked away from the tree of feelings & once he was far away enough,he ran farther & farther away from the place he once called home *
