it's a secret

-

"miss kim," the flight crew approached the brunette's spot next to you and smiled. "is there anything you need that i can possibly help you with?"

the brunette smiled at her politely before turning towards you with a questioning look. "you hungry?"

you didn't mean for your stomach to grumble the exact moment she just asked you that, and so the next thing you knew, you were being served with a bunch of different food (that thankfully doesn't look like some cheap, disgusting airplane food at all) on fancy looking plates and glasses, and the annoying stranger chuckling amusedly at the way your face instantly lit up in excitement.

"knock yourself out."

and who the hell were you to do otherwise as what miss kim told you to?

you were too busy stuffing your face with food that you missed the way the latter smiled at you adoringly.

could she get any cuter?

no, you missed that thought, either.

"wow, you sure seem hungry." she teased, so you glared at her.

"don't laugh at me. i literally haven't had anything for the last ten hours."

you saw her raise an eyebrow at you through your peripheral vision. "why's that?"

downing the rest of your drink, you wiped your mouth with a clean napkin before turning slightly to face the brunette properly. "i was just hiding by myself at our backyard the entire night, and i skipped lunch yesterday since my mom wanted me to prepare for their party."

"you mean your party?"

"i didn't even know anyone of the invited guests besides jennie and her parents, but yeah." you rolled your eyes, forcing a smile. "sure."

you watched the way the brunette raised both of her eyebrows, nodding lightly as she let her body sink further on her cushioned seat. now, it's your turn to eye her curiously.

"what's your name?"

"it's a secret." she chuckled, glancing at you for a second before turning back to the magazine in her hands, "come to think of it, it's not so bad keeping that possibly a kidnapper or a serial killer on the loose image you set on me, after all."

you furrowed your eyebrows as you jutted your bottom lip out. "not fair. you know mine."

"life's never fair, princess. it works that way." she shrugged with a sly smirk.

you frowned. "stop calling me that when you obviously know what my name is, would you?"

the brunette chuckled to herself. "don't you think princess kinda suits you?"

"that's exactly why i don't want you to call me that. i thought you want me to loosen up a bit whatsoever?" you asked, mimicking her previous statement and causing her to laugh.

"alright, alright." the brunette mumbled with a smile, eyes still glued to the magazine in her hands. "i'm calling you chaengie, then."

chaengie.

you liked it.

the cute little nickname, and the way it sounded so sexily raspy as it rolled off her tongue.

"okay. then, what do i call you?" you subtly asked, but the brunette only turned towards you with an adoring smile.

she raised both of her eyebrows as she mumbled back in the same tone, "nice try."

"gosh, you're so annoying." you rolled your eyes, which the brunette only laughed at again. "you even know my age and the exact address where i live. and all i know about you is that you're jennie's old friend from seoul and that you're obviously way too fucking rich for your own good."

"my parents are. but i'm not - yet. still gotta work hard for it." she retorted nonchalantly, which caused you to smile. "anyway, fine. just to be fair, i'm nineteen. and you're just about to know the exact address where i live - in paris - after we land."

you nodded once, feeling somewhat satisfied of the older girl's response. "i'm glad you decided to remain in fair terms with me, miss kim...?"

"let it rest now, chaengie." she retorted with an amused chuckle, causing you to pout as you leaned back on your seat.

"worth a shot."
