you're not even my type
-
the flight from new york to paris wasn't really that fast, even with a private jet. nonetheless, you only managed to sleep for four hours.
you looked over to the sleeping brunette who's now leaning her head against your shoulder, snoring. you had to bite off a chuckle at the sight.
she'd been in that position for several hours already, yet you didn't mind.
not at all, actually.
the close proximity of her face to yours also somehow gave you the chance to study her more intently. and as your eyes landed on her smoldering bow-shaped lips, you couldn't understand why there's this sudden urge inside of you to lean in just a little bit closer.
you didn't even realize you already actually were until the brunette shifted on her seat, carelessly rubbing her eyes awake as she carefully lifted her head off your shoulder.
you immediately missed the contact, but you didn't say it out loud.
"jesus, what time is it?" she mumbled, glancing on her wrist watch as she blinked a few times. "what the- i've been sleeping for six hours already? why didn't you wake me up?"
the question and her facial expression had you chuckling, so she narrowed her eyes at you as she spoke once again, "you just wanted me to lean against your shoulder a little longer, don't you?"
and what if i do?
"you wish. you're not even my type." you retorted instead, rolling your eyes at her before shoving the fashion magazine you're once holding right on her face.
the brunette laughed, placing the magazine down in front of her as she stuck her tongue out at you. "sorry, but you stink at lying, princess."
"i'm not lying."
"uh-huh. sure." she nodded, smiling teasingly at you, and you felt like she wouldn't let go of this anytime soon, so you just rolled your eyes and shifted your body facing the window.
"yah," you heard the annoying stranger called out, but you didn't turn around, as you could practically feel your cheeks burning up. you thought even when she isn't saying something cheesy at all, your face just suddenly blushes like crazy for some reasons. "chaeyoung, are you mad? i was just teasing you."
you still didn't move in your spot, but you didn't expect the brunette to pull you by the arm instead, causing you to face her rather unwillingly.
(you were secretly fine with it, though.)
she had her face leaned a little (definitely more than just a little) close to yours that you could clearly see the various shades of chocolate brown in her eyes and feel the warmth they radiate, straight-up sending shivers down your spine.
you unconsciously glanced down her bow shaped lips, and you didn't miss the way it pulled to her eyes in a subtle smirk as she glanced down your trembling cherry ones as well.
"i thought you were rather big on manners, park chaeyoung?" she mumbled in a low rasp, causing you to part your lips slightly as you held your breath. "don't face the other way when someone calls for your name the next time, okay?"
subtly biting her lip, you watched the way the brunette leaned her face away from yours, leaving you dumbfounded in your seat.
you had to audibly sigh in relief (and disappointment), and she only snickered amusedly at you as she flipped through the pages of the magazine in her hands.
