Today I am having a lots of time and I was getting really bored. So just thought to start this Ff. Well it's a short story. It's not serial based. I'll try to finish it up in less than 10 shots.
So let's move on....

Scene starts with a big business party which is held before the Award function. Everyone is excited to know who Two Youngest Best Tycoons of the year are to be awarded today. This year the winners are to be given an International business partnership with foreign companies which will be handled in collaboration.
The hall is having a number of big personalities. On one side there is live band going on, At the corner of the hall , a big bar is there which is keeping busy a number of people in suits and dresses. All are enjoying the ambience when suddenly the wait gets over. It's the time for Award Function.
All get seated in the large sitting area and are waiting for the function to start. The hosts arrive.

"Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen...We are pleased to have you all today...I hope you all enjoyed the party out there."
First host speaks up.

"Without wasting our time, let's start with the evening. Today out of you all a few people will mark their respective victories and rest will get charged up for the next time. So let's start with the first Award."
Says the second host.

"To Give the Award for the best partnership of the year, I would like to call Mr and Mrs. Kaushik who are an inspiration for all of us as they have the maximum experience in this field."
Says the first host.

The old couple arrives looking really sophisticated and charming.
The lady speaks up.

"Good Evening lovely people, Without wasting any time, the Best partnership of the year goes to Rathore and Luthra Industries. I would like to call our handsome Mr. Yuvraaj Luthra to collect the his award and his partner's Mr. Kunj Rathore.
Congratulations to both of you!"

A loud clapping and hooting is heard and from amidst the gathering, A young man stands up with his charming smile and proceeds towards the stage.

He takes the award and says:-
"Thank you everyone for voting for mine and my buddy's partnership.
I wish he was here with me to take this award but due to some urgency he his not here. Love you all guyzz...."

He goes down.

"Congratulations Mr. Yuvraaj and Thank you Mr and Mrs. Kaushik. Next award is The Best Strategic Design of the year.."
Says the first host.

"And to present this Award we would like to call Mrs. Maya Arjun Sharma.The CEO of Mehrotra Enterprises...Congratulations Maya for the wedding. We all give you best wishes for your married life." Speaks the second host.

A beautiful lady in a Blue Saari comes to the stage smiling . One could say that she is a newly wedded girl.
She says:-
"Thank you Ajay! Greetings to everyone...So the award for the Best Strategic Design of the year goes to...I am really very proud announcing this....It goes to Mr. Arjun Sharma. Congratulations..."

A man stands from the fourth row of the hall smiling and moves towards the stage.

He takes the Award and speaks his Award Winning Speech. The host says..

"I have a question Mr. Sharma... How's the feeling of getting awarded by your Wife??"

"My joy has no boundaries... Actually it's just her support that I am here standing in front of you with this Award. She is my power booster, my inspiration and everything. Thank you Maya for coming in my life."

The couple shares a hug.
A large sound of clapping and hooting is heard. They both go down hand in hand.

"That was really cute! "
Says the second host.

This way more Awards are announced.
Finally it's the time for the biggest announcement. But before that a break is given to everyone. All exit from the hall.
In the banquet,
Mrs. Kaushik was passing by when she hears conversation of 3 men.

"That's so obvious Nikhil...These girls are capable of nothing. Out of 10 Awards, 7 Awards have already been won by Male business partners. And I am damn sure The tycoon of the year is also among us men only."

"Hahaha...The girls are only capable of either being in the kitchen or on the bed...Lol!"

"Sahil, so true bro! Gimme a high five...Haha! Well I am in the mood today."

"Rajat, Don't say you are not going home rather a uhm uhm.."

"Of course man, My boring wife would be in the house. She doesn't even have to courage to ask me anything...I am toh in wild mood today.."

"So lucky man...Haha!!"

Mrs Kaushik was disgusted by the convo. She storms off.

After a while,
All gather back to the sitting area.
Mrs. Kaushik intentionally gets seated with the trio. The hosts comes back.

" So are all excited to know the winners of the evening??"

" Yeeeeesssss!!"

"Alright then, to present the Awards to the winners...I would like to call one and only Mr. Jack Woods....Who would be coming to know his new collaborators."

An Englishman in his forty's comes to the stage and takes the Mike.

"Namaste Everyone! Well as my excitement is reaching it's peak I would not waste a single second.
So the first Tycoon of the year is:-"

Silence is there! Only thumping of hearts could be heard.
Jack continues.

"One and only Mr. LAKSH MAHESHWARIIIIII!!!!!!! Come up guy!! Well-done!"

A huge huge huge sound of clapping hooting and shouting is heard.
A guy from the last row stands up with a serious face and comes to the stage.
Sahil, Nikhil and Rajat were giving an 'as expected' look to each other.

He smiles a lil looking at Mr. Woods.
Arjun, Maya and Yuvraaj are hooting at their maximum and clapping for him. Laksh shakes his hand with the foreign guy and takes the award.
Mr. Woods make him stand beside him.

"Before Laksh gives his words I wanna know the other member too..So the second Tycoon is :-"

This time every eye was on Sahil. His company was progressing rapidly. The truth behind progression was black money. Mrs. Kaushik was eager to know.

"Oh wow! So the winner is :- Ms. RAGINI KAPOOOR!!!!!!"

There was a huge silence in the hall. Everyone was shocked. But the next moment high sounds of clapping, shouting and hooting was heard. Shekhar hooted and clapped more enthusiastically as it was her elder daughter who won this award. No doubt she worked with 100℅ brilliancy and it was her efforts only that Kapoor Industries was second leading Company.
But the most shocked were the trio bloody sexist. Mrs. Kaushik admired Ragini and smirked looking their faces.
A girl stood up. And smilingly proceeded towards the stage with attitude in her each step.
She went and and shook hands with Mr. Woods smiling.

"My my! Ms. Kapoor...You are as beautiful as much as you are talented."

"Thank you!"

"Please come Mr. Maheshwari and greet your Business Partner.."

Laksh and Ragini looked towards each other. They gave a professional smile and shook their hands.
They were made to sign the contract.

"Please Mr. Laksh share how you are feeling now!" Says the first host.

Laksh goes towards the mike and speaks..

"Greetings everyone! I would just say that hard work, dedication and discipline really pays off and it has paid to me...Thank you!"

All claps dearly for him.

"That was a really good thought..Thank you Laksh. What about you Ms. Kapoor?"

Ragini goes towards the podium and says:-

"A delightful evening to one and all present here. The only thing I wanna say is I am thankful to my father who trusted my capability and handled over me his seat unlike other parents according to whom just sons are able to do all marketing. Love you Dad! Thank you!!"

"Wow! We wish that every daughter gets a father like you Mr. Shekhar Kapoor. Once again congratulations to Laksh and Ragini. Mr. Woods we hope that India provided you with the best collaborators. Thank you everyone! We end the function here!
Good Night!!!"

All move. The trio were shocked with Ragini. It was least expected by them.
Mrs. Kaushik comes and say:-

"What happened? Now I think you people have come to know what females are capable of...! And you were being proud of your male ego Na, that most awards were won by men then answer me! Who are you people to say anything!! You all stand no where!! No Awards right?
In fact those 3 girls who were awarded are better than you people!! Where do you stand?? Bloody losers!!!"

She goes giving them a disgusting look while the trio were in shame.

Here,
Shekhar hugged her daughter and blessed her. Parth too congratulated her. She hugs him too.
Ragini and Laksh were called in the meeting hall by Jack. Ragini reaches there only to find Laksh already there sitting alone on his phone. She goes and sits opposite to him.
He looks towards her and smiles a bit. She too smiles a lil back.
There was an awkward silence between them.
Ragini breaks the silence...

"Hi Laksh."

"Mr. Maheshwari for you. And by the way Hi! Ms. Kapoor..."

"OK! Well congratulations, today you must be celebrating it with your family."

"Ya! I will be...And congrats to you too."

"Thank you!"

He smiles tight.

"Why is Mr. Woods taking so long? There is someone waiting for me at home!"

"Wi-wife?"

He looks towards her a lil startled. He thinks for a while and then says.

"Yes!"

"Oh!"

"You married?"

She looks towards him and after a thought says:-

"Yes!"

"Well it doesn't seem so? You are a Kapoor, no?"

"Uhmm...My husband is Kapoor too!"

"Oh! Thats Great.."

She smiles tight.

Soon Mr Woods arrive. All the formalities are done. He says:-

"Well we officially are now partners. This demands a party. Next week, there is a party at my lounge. You both are invited. Address and necessary information will be sent soon. And do bring your spouses if you have..Haha! Bye guyzz...!!"

Laksh and Ragini pass him a smile and go from the meeting hall.
Laksh stops Ragini by calling her.

"Mrs. Kapoor! Am really excited to meet him."

Ragini's breath hitches. She turns and says composing herself.

"Why not? Even I want to meet your wife!"

"Sure!!! Bye!"

"Bye!"

They depart their ways.
Ragini gets a call with 'My Life' caller. She smiles seeing it and picks up the call.

"Say!"

"Come at Farmhouse! I personally want to wish you!!"

"Hmmmm...I'll be right there!"

"Eagerly waiting..."

"Bye!"

"Bye"

At Maheshwari Mansion..

Laksh enters the house when suddenly someone comes and hugs him tight. He smiles and hugs the person tight. SHe says:-

"Congratulations Mr. Handsome. I am proud of you."

"Thank you Sweetheart...Now leave me I'm getting suffocated."

"What yaar Handsome!!! This is called Love."

"Acha! Stop this drama my drama queen and give me something to eat. I didn't eat without you there!"

"Awwww!! I knew it... You love me so much... Love you!!"

"Love you too!! But Neeti please I am really hungry!"

"OK coming! You go and get fresh."

Laksh goes from there.

Here at Farmhouse...

Ragini enters the house when suddenly the lights go on. Her photos are hanging in the hall. Some are with a boy. She looks at the photos and her eyes become teary.
Suddenly the same boy comes out and shouts:-
Surprise!!!

She looks towards him and smiles.

"Congratulations Beautiful!"

"Thank you so much Parth!"

Ragini goes and hugs him tight. He too hugs her back and smiles.

"So how's the surprise?"

"As Amazing as you are!!"

"Sachii!! Yes! "

"Thank you for all this! Love you!!"

"There is no need to thank please! I am not a stranger yaar!!! And by the way Love you too!!"

Ragini smiles back.

Here,
After dinner, Laksh was in the Garden while Neeti was fast asleep.
He was sitting on the swing a lil tears flowing from his eyes. He says up:-

"5 years have passed. I pretend to have moved on but I know how hard it is for me! But now I have to focus on Neeti. She needs me and I can't be weak now.
I have learnt to stay strong. Whatever you wanna do destiny you can do, But this Laksh Maheshwari is not gonna fall weak now..."

He dozes off on the swing.

Later at night,

Parth and Ragini were.returning home. She was lost in her thoughts.

{In mind}
" I am not afraid now. I have suffered from the worst in past years that now I have turned out to be strong and hard as a rock. No matter what happens now, I'll face it. I am not a bechaari anymore.."

She wipes off the tears from her eyes and composes herself.

Screen freezes....
