I thought my demons, were almost defeated
But you took their side,
and you pulled them to freedom
~Demons, Jacob Lee

"I'm really sorry Doyoung." She whispered and was on the verge of fainting but Jieun was quick to catch her back.

Doyoung didn't say anything and kept the letter back inside the envelope, "Jieun, lets take her home." He said and got up buttoning his coat.

Jieun and Doyoung both got Nara safely to the car and drove off to home. They reached their mansion and Doyoung carried Nara to her room with Jieun following behind them.

Upon entering the room they saw that the room was a mess, broken vodka bottle, her stuff from the table were on the floor, as if a disaster took place, "It will take her a lot of time to get over." Jieun spoke as she looked around the floor.

"It will and someone has to stay with her all the time until then." Doyoung placed her down on her bed and gently pulled the blanket on her.

"Why did all of this happen? What went wrong Doyoung?" Jieun asked hopelessly.

He sighed, "I don't know Jieun. I guess we were in that part of the silence before the storm." He said looking at Nara.

"Her methods might be wrong but she always loved him with a pure heart." He heard Jieun. That was Nara's mistake, she loved him too much, so much to give her everything.

Doyoung didn't say anything, he pitifully looked at Nara's sleeping figure, "Please take care." He whispered and left the room with Jieun following.

They say Love can make you blind where you don't see through the filters. Everything was happening at plain sight but she got so indulged that it costed her everything.

They quietly closed the door behind them as they came out in the hallway, "I should get going." Jieun said and was about to leave when Doyoung caught her wrist.

"Stay here for the night please." Doyoung said to Jieun. Doyoung really needed someone to stay with him for some time and perhaps it was quite late for her to leave.

Jieun showed a faint smile and nodded in reply. She gently pulled Doyoung into a hug and he didn't hesitate, Jieun's shorter frame was completely engulfed by Doyoung but that was something he really needed.

"I just want everything to be alright." He whispered as he held her close, tighter, something to hold on to, "It will be." She answered, gently rubbing his back.

Nara woke up the next morning with a terrible headache and a dizzy vision, it felt as if someone was banging a gong inside her head. After her dizziness settled down a little she noticed Doyoung was sitting beside her bed, reading the newspaper.

"Oh you're awake." He placed the newspaper on her nightstand and helped her with a glass of water, "Here, you're throat might feel dry."

She took the glass and muttered a 'thanks' before chugging down the whole glass of water, "That feels good." She said wiping her mouth of the tiny droplets of water.

The reason Doyoung was there was to talk about the resignation letter she gave yesterday. He knew she was drunk when she handed it but he also knew that when she wrote it, she was completely sober.

"Nara." He sighed, "The resigna-"

"I'm serious about it." Nara said interrupting him, "I don't think I'll be able to." She continued.

"Why Nara?"

"Doyoung, I can't face the crowd the same way again, after the height at which I fucked up. You might tell me to not care about what people will say or think but Doyoung, I cannot do this, guilt will eat me every time I walk inside that office, I can't live like that." She sighed, "I'm really sorry." She kept telling herself not to cry or breakdown, she had enough of that.

Nara wanted to build herself back again but with this constant feeling of guilt and regret disturbing her, she wasn't doing any good.

There was silence, Doyoung didn't say anything, he knew trying to convince Nara would gain him nothing, "I want to start anew." She said catching his attention as she looked at him.

"Then what's stopping you?" He asked.

"Fear" She replied, "I feel scared now, to trust someone, to believe in something, to believe in myself. I mean we saw what happened right?" She mockingly chuckled at herself.

Doyoung shifted from his seat, coming closer to the bed and held Nara's hand, "Listen here kid, I know you made a mistake, a huge one, but don't let that destroy your confidence." He said but received a scoff from Nara instead.

"How do you think I'll do that? We aren't teenagers anymore with small mistakes!" She said with a little anger accompanied in her voice.

"Nara, take a break, think about everything and if you want to start something, I'm always here to guide you." Doyoung spoke calmly, trying to soften her down.

As they were talking, Xu entered the room with a displeased look, "I'm sorry but Mr.Nakamoto is waiting downstairs for Nara." She said nervously.

"Tell him I'll be there in a few minutes." Nara said and got off her bed to freshen up and get changed before meeting him downstairs.

Doyoung noticed that Xu looked nervous and it certainly wasn't about Yuta waiting downstairs, something else was bothering her, "What's the matter Xu?" He asked.

"Doyoung, did you two think on how Mrs.Kim will take the news?" She said. Xu was worried that Mrs.Kim won't be able to take the situation lightly, considering how much Nara meant to her.

"We have to tell her some or the other way Xu, she has to know someday." He sighed, "We both will make sure to keep her calm Xu." He said with a little assurance.

After 20 minutes Nara got ready and walked downstairs to see Yuta waiting downstairs. Hands in his pocket with that usual mischievous smirk lingering on his face. Nara looked horrible compared to him, hollow cheeks, eyes bags, weak face, that was what he wanted, he felt victorious.

"You still like to keep people waiting, dont you?" He asked sarcastically.

"What do you want Yuta." Nara croaked in a low voice.

"Here." He said monotonously handing Nara an envelope, "I want to settle everything and basically omit you out of my life.

Nara took the envelope from him and removed the paper, they were legal documents, Divorce Papers.

Nara's breathing hitched a little, she tried not to cry, "So it really meant nothing to you? Those pep talks, those stupid dates, 'you're my princess' shit, those nights?" She asked hopelessly, her voiced lowering down on the last line.

"No." He answered with a straight forward look painted on his face, "Princess, I'm really good of an actor and you're just too delusional ." He shrugged.

Nara just chuckled curtly, trying to hide the pain she looked at Yuta, "Okay then, where do I have to sign?"
