Dev froze at the spot. He had thought that he had scared her. But here he saw that she was confessing that she has almost fallen for him. He felt like doing a happy jig after hearing her words. He controlled himself and asked her.

"Are you falling for me?" He quizzed.

"I do not know. I can't answer you without a sane mind. My head is bursting," Sona said clutching her head. After the panic attack, Sona had not yet completely stabilized. She was having a severe headache. 

Dev noticed that. Dev wanted her to be fine. She was after all the girl he had fallen for despite the fact that she rejected him. Also, she was an employee of his company.

"Where do you go for a consultation?" He asked. Dev planned to take her to her doctor and if possible get to know a bit about Sonakshi's past and why she got a panic attack like that.

Sonakshi's eyes widened. He wants to know! No! I can't let him know.

"It is OK," Dev said, "Looks like I will have to make a call to Suraj Sharma." 

He gave her an evil smirk that meant 'I am Serious if you don't tell me, I will call up you brother.'

Sonakshi did not want Suraj to know about this. She knew her brother. He was really possessive and protective about her. If he came to know that she had a panic attack, he would let hell loose. So, she decided to spill the beans to Dev instead.

"Dr. Sinha," She said, "AIIMS Delhi." 

Dr. Sinha. Why does this name seem so familiar?

"Pick up the phone Aahana," Suraj gritted. He had been trying her number for the last one hour ever since Jatin had given him the idea to include Aahana in the planning.

Suraj tried calling her one last time. When she didn't pick it up, he was almost going to smash his phone to bits in his anger.

"Missing me, darling?" A female voice spoke.

Suraj immediately turned around to look at the source of the voice. There she was at the door of his cabin looking beautiful as always.  Her smile causing him to smile in return. 

Aahana. 

Her name meant rays of the sun. 

It meant inner light. 

She was the light of his life.

"NG. Tell me what exactly happened?" Arjun spoke to Natasha at her house. 

Now that Dev was around Sona, he did not have to keep an eye on her. Once Dev would go leaving Sona, Arjun would have to be back on duty to protect Sonakshi. He was trying to finish the other task that Dev had assigned him. 

Finding out about Songbird.

"In the evening, I had to deal with Chang at 6 pm. I arrived right on time. I just had to tempt Chang with the diamonds. But what I saw was Chang shaking hands with a woman in a black dress. She had her nose and mouth covered with a veil. She had worn earrings with Treble clef symbols on them. She walked out with the suitcase filled with Platinum in it," Natasha narrated woefully.

"Hmm... Interesting. As far as I know, Songbird is a woman?" He said it like a question, wanting to confirm with Natasha.

Natasha nodded in agreement.

"And she wore treble clef earrings? And covered her face with a veil?" He questioned.

"Yes," Natasha affirmed.

"Interesting. Very Interesting."

Just two hours left for lunch with Prerna. Anurag thought staring out of the window of his cabin sitting on his chair.

Moloy walked into Anurag's cabin and saw him lost. Moloy had quite a good idea about what Anurag's thoughts would be at that point in time.

"Let go of her, Anurag," Moloy said leaving a deep breath.

"I have Baba," Anurag replied not caring to meet Moloy's eyes.

"You have not," Moloy retorted, "Forget Sonakshi and concentrate on Komolika."

Anurag chuckled humorlessly. Was the man in front of him his father? He was so insensitive about his own son's feelings.

"You don't trust me do you, Baba?" Anurag asked, pain evident in his voice.

"I don't," Moloy agreed.

"You trust Komolika right?" Anurag asked changing his strategy to make his father understand.

"Yes," Moloy nodded. 

"Then, please go and ask her how I have been treating her. Ask your to-be daughter-in-law what I have promised her," Anurag said with all the patience he had left in him.

 Moloy pondered at the proposition that Anurag made for a minute and then nodded. What Anurag had said, made perfect sense.

"Fine."

Dev had driven Sonakshi to the AIIMS Delhi hospital where Sonakshi's doctor Dr Sinha worked. He had called up and booked the 12 pm appointment for Sonakshi. He wanted her to be treated as early as possible.

Sonakshi got out of the car and waited for him near the entrance as he went to park his sleek black car.

After parking the car, Dev got out and started walking towards Sonakshi. It was then that Sonakshi realized how handsome Dev was looking. She felt her body temperature rising as he walked closer towards her. His perfect features were making her hormones run crazy. She noticed Dev's sharp jawline. She wanted to go and feel it. His brown orbs were captivating her. She felt as if she was going into a trance.

"Control Sona," She said to herself as Dev inched even closer to Sonakshi.

Dev smirked as soon as he heard her saying those words. He wanted to go closer to Sonakshi and feel her, but he did not execute his idea remembering what had happened earlier in the day because he let his desires overpower him.

"Come on Sonakshi," Dev said, gesturing for her to enter the hospital with him.

"Why are you coming with me?" She asked Dev. She was trying her best to keep Dev away from her past and here right in front of her Dev was becoming adamant about knowing about Sonakshi's past.

"Because I want to," Dev replied truthfully. 

It was the truth after all. He wanted to be with Sonakshi. Be it pleasant or unpleasant, he wanted to know her past. He had not forgotten the fact that she rejected him, but after coming to know about her having panic attacks he speculated that the reason why Sonakshi had rejected him was due to her past that was triggering these attacks.

The words that left Sonakshi's mouth made him feel numb.

"Why do you care?"
