Eight years ago...

Eighteen year old Kashimba, fresh from her training, meditates with Papa Tengu. Upon opening his blind eyes, Papa Tengu senses a red aura eminating from Kashimba's body, but it is not erratic like when she was a little girl.

"You have improved greatly, your power is under control. But first, you must prove to me your skill." Papa Tengu unsheathes his sword, encouraging Kashimba to do the same.

Kashimba simply places her hand on the hilt of her sword, while closing her eyes. As Papa Tengu tries to attack her, she quickly blocks his sword with her own in an instant blur of speed.

"Well done, you have mastered the way of the warrior, but you must remain balanced or you will succumb to the darkness." Papa Tengu informs her. Kashimba bows to him and she is handed a picture of Kyoto attached with a picture of a woman.

"There is a vampire causing trouble in Kyoto, apparantly he has been killing innocent people, for the highest bidder." Papa Tengu gives her the location of the vampires next target, as he feels on the picture, he can sense the appearance of the woman and what she is doing.

"She will be at the Sky Temple hotel, this woman is mighty into spell books. Black magic, alchemy..." he says.

"May I ask where you got that picture?" Kashimba wonders.

"Raidou sent it to me via eagle, he is in Kyoto waiting for you." Papa Tengu. Kashimba nods and she takes a motorcyle. Riding off to Kyoto, Kashimba looks carefully at the picture. Squinting her eyes, she sees a peculiar aura surrounding the woman.

"Who is this woman? Why does she read spellbooks? And for what reason?" Kashimba  says in her head, as she rides to Kyoto. Three hours later, Kashimba arrives in Kyoto, Japan in the middle of Kiyamachi Street.

"Well, well, well. Look who's finally showed up to the party, you arrived just in time." Raidou says while sitting on a lamp post.

"So now that you're here, the woman and vampire your looking for is in that fancy motel over to your far left and you... are about to get your ass kicked! Happy hunting playa!" Raidou instigates.

Kashimba senses that the vampire that she is after, is in the woman's room. As she runs towards the motel, she can hear glass breaking and loud thumping. Kashimba, with a full head of steam, knocks the door down and she tackles the vampire as he is feeding on the woman.

The vampire kicks Kashimba away and it tries to stab her with a knife, but Kashimba grabs his arm and she twists his wrist in an awkward thirty degree angle. As the vampire cries out in pain, Kashimba tosses him through a wall and into the bathroom.

The vampire tries to get up, but Kashimba takes apart the toilet seat in the corner and she brutally bashes it on the vampires head, as she hits him over and over with the toilet seat, blood sprays all over the walls and the shower curtains.

As she looks on with blood covering her face, Kashimba unsheathes her sword and she swiftly decapitates the vampire. As head rolled on the floor, Kashimba crushes it underneath her boot, turning it and her body to ash.

Kashimba walks out of the bloody bathroom, towards the motionless body of the mysterious woman. Her skin was dark of nubian and her eyes were pure with blue.

"Rest in peace, poor soul." Kashimba mutters in Japanese. Kashimba sheathes her sword and she walks out of the motel, covered in her enimies blood.

"Damn, you pretty much jacked him up! And with a damn toilet seat nonetheless! You actually are a cold-blooded chick!" Raidou says as Kashimba walks away, with an emotionless look on her face.

Present day...

Kashimba burns the body of Papa Tengu on top of a wooden alter. As she looks on as the body burns small tear falls down her face. Kashimba goes into the dojo and she sits in deep meditation, her aura calmly bursting through her body.

"Kashimba... are you okay?" Kane asks her, coming in quietly. Kashimba dosen't respond.

"I couldn't help but overhear you and Tengu talking, we can't let them get your blood." Kashimba opens her eyes to see Kane sitting in front of her.

"I can't let that bitch get away with killing Papa Tengu, she also killed my mother and father! Everytime I kill one of those bastards, I see Khanasu!" Kashimba growls, her fangs growing from her mouth.

"I know what you're going through on that end, vampires took my parents and I have been hunting them ever since. But this... Kashimba, this is the vampire apocalypse." Kane says.

"And I'm the key... are you suggesting that I stay away? To not go after the woman who took everything from me?" Kashimba asks.

"No... I'm saying that we do this together. And if we die, we will die together." Kane places her hand on Kashimba's face, feeling how warm her blood is for a hybrid.

"When I first met you, I knew you were unique. But your struggle to keep the demon from overtaking you, made me want to help you." Kane then grabs both of Kashimba's hands and she looks into her mind.

She sees Kashimba as a little girl, playing with her mother in the winter. The memory is so powerful, it makes small tears come down the face of Kashimba and Kane.

"How did you do that?" Kashimba asks her.

"I saw the brightest corner of your memory centers, that memory was so beautiful Kashimba." Kane tells her

"I didn't know I still had that... that was during a very cold winter, my mother and I played together in the snow, who knew it would be the last moment I had with her, before darkness took over my life." Kane then kisses Kashimba on the lips, catching the vampire hunter off guard.

"The world is not always dark, there is good to... you just have to see." Kashimba pulls in Kane, passionately kissing her. Kane feels a rush of energy go through her as Kashimba melts to the floor with her, taking in Kane's warmth. The two aggressively continue to kiss each other as they join in a moment of passion and wanting for each other.

Several hours later, Kane lays asleep and covered by a black blanket as the moon shines through the window. Kashimba, wearing all black and red, walks towards her motorcycle, with her sword on her back.

"This ends tonight..." Kashimba drives off, heading to Khanasu's stronghold. As she rides through the forest, her eyes glow red, with the intent on ending het pursuit of vengeance!
