Chapter 23; Morning.
"Patrick! Get up, you're going to be late!" my mom woke me, screaming from the bottom of the stairs.
"Fuck off!" I groaned loud enough for her to hear, rolling over to face the wall.
"Patrick! I said get up!" she repeated, barging into my room.
"And I said fuck off." I snapped back at her, glairing.
She sighed loudly and left the room, slamming my bedroom door.
"Take it off the hinge, why don't you?!" I screamed, sitting up at the sudden bang.
"I might just!" she yelled up to me sarcastically.
I punched my wall in anger. Pain electrocuted throughout my whole body, causing me to scream out in agony.
"Fuck!" I cried, lightly holding my fist with my other hand.
"Stop swearing!" my mom yelled again. She was really beginning to piss me off.
"SHUT UP, YOU WHORE. I'LL BURN THIS HOUSE DOWN WHILE YOU SLEEP!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, tears of anger and pure agony rolling down my cheeks and onto the bed sheets.
She went silent. I scratched at my hand while crying, not bothering to wipe my eyes or nose.
"You're an ungrateful piece of shit. I've done all I could for you all my life and this is how you repay me?!" she spoke, sounding disappointed.
"You was the one who decided to have me, for Hell's sake. Maybe you're the ungreatful one!" I shouted back at her.
She stormed out again for the second time this morning.
I jumped out of bed while I could, slipping on some tracksuit bottoms and a jumper, then socks and a pair of random sneakers. With a quick brush of the teeth, I grabbed my lighter and backpack and stomped out the back door, slamming it so hard that the glass cracked slightly.
Luckily, Belch was waiting for me in his car. I hopped over the roof and into the back, pushing Vic to the side so I could get comfy.
"What's up?" Vic quizzed.
"I don't want to talk about it." I mumbled, slouching down with a pout.
"Are those my trackers?" he asked. I looked down at the black tracksuit joggers and smirked.
"They might be. Why don't you take them back," I teased, wiggling my eyebrows at him.
The rose red on his cheeks became more prominent against his pale skin as he grew flustered. Blech looked back at us through the top mirror, shaking his head with a playful smile.
