Adam Yilmaz POV

"You bastard! You got me killed!" Damon groaned at Matt

"You got yourself killed you moron"

Johnny D and I looked at each other before bursting in laughter. Those two were always bickering about the littlest things. You would say they are an old couple.

"Alright fuckers, this round is ours again".

We've been sitting in the living room since 7 PM playing video games and eating snacks. It was 8 PM as the front door unlocked and Helena walked in, and we had just started a new game. We all turned our heads to her and stood there for a second before she glared at Matt for a reason and stood right in front of him, arms on her waist still glaring.

She looked so sexy in her denim short skirt and white tank top. That was the thing with Lena, she could wear a rag and still look sexy as hell. And the boys were drooling as they took in her slim figure. She was tiny, but had curves in the right places.

"Um... hi?" he said tentatively

"Get your fucking foot off my fucking white couch!"

"Lena..."

"Don't Lena me. It's a white couch." She took in the surroundings and let out a heavy sigh "and you" she pointed a slender finger at me "You better clean up everything"

They all looked at me and I shrugged "Sure, no worries there"

"Good" she flipped her wavy hair behind her back and walked off toward her room.

They all stared after her and weren't budging. I cleared my throat and pressed play "I'm starting the game guys"

Johnny D grinned at Damon's expression. Damon was single because he never found a girl meeting his standards and by the look of it he just had. But too bad for him, I wouldn't let him get near Lena.

Damon turned his attention to me ignoring the fact he died and we kept playing without him.

"You're a fucker you know that?"

"What did I do now?" I raised an eyebrow at him.

"That's why you didn't want us to come over. You want to keep this hot piece all to yourself don't you?"

Johnny D was sitting next to me and felt how tense I became and he got up "Who wants beer?"

"Wait? You knew about her Johnny D?"

Matt rolled his eyes "What's wrong with you Damon? It's not like they have to tell you about every beautiful girl they meet. Now get your head back into the game or you're out"

"Yeah and stay the hell away from Lena you hear me?" I spoke in a low but threatening tone earning a nod from him.

We played for another hour while eating snacks and drinking beer. No one mentioned Helena again, and she did a great job at staying in her room. I was glad she didn't come back out. I knew Damon was a wolf and would ignore my warning the second I turned my back.

I heard the front door opened and frowned waiting to see who had a key to our apartment.

Serena walked in all her splendor "Oh if it isn't the hottest guy in the universe?"

All guys looked from her to me back and forth as she made her way toward me.

"Serena, you have a key"

"Of course I do" she leaned over and kissed me on the lips "I missed you. You never hang out with us anymore"

"Serena. You came early. And you're all over Adam again"

I looked back to see Helena wearing a shiny tight short skirt showing her long toned legs with a black tank top. She had heels on as well as makeup. She was going out. Damn it!

Serena moved away from me "Yeah, he's just so yummy" she then looked at the guys and smiled "Don't be upset, you are too." She winked and went to Helena who wasn't smiling at all. She looked actually pissed.

"Give me your key"

The boys stopped playing, they thought watching the girls was far more entertaining.

"Why? You gave me that key so I could come here whenever I want to"

"Yes Serena but that was before he moved in" she pointed at me.

"What does it change?"

"He needs his privacy" she said blankly surprising me as well as Serena and Johnny D.

"Since when do you care about what Adam needs?"

"I don't."

Ouch

"Now give me my keys and let's get going"

"Bitch!" she gave her the keys and turned to look at me "I'll be seeing you around hot shot" she winked and walked out.

Helena was about to follow her "Lena?" I called out and she turned to look at me but said nothing annoyance clear on her face.

"Where are you off to? The Raven?"

"No, we have a dinner date. Do you mind?"

"Nahhh, knock yourself out. Just don't get in trouble"

She rolled her eyes and left slamming the door behind her.

Damon couldn't keep his mouth shut.

"Damn she's hot!"

"Damon I said stay the hell away from her don't you even try and get near her man, I mean it!"

Damon shrugged and gulped his beer down taking another.

"I need something stronger" I said looking at the bottles Johnny D had brought with him. We played and drank till morning. Helena never made it home. I woke up to an empty house with a horrible headache.

Lucky for me Helena wasn't home. The place was a mess she would kill me if she saw her classy looking living room like that. I got to work and cleaned the whole place before taking a shower.

I walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my waist and made my way to the kitchen to brew some fresh coffee and fix breakfast. I grabbed my phone and seeing a missed call from dad I quickly dialed his number.

-Hey buddy! How's it going-

"Morning dad. I'm good, nothing some advils and a coffee won't fix"

-You drank again haven't you-

"Don't judge. Your daughter is driving me crazy"

He laughed heartedly -Yeah, I know what you mean. So I haven't seen her face in newspapers in a while. Gran is ecstatic; she thinks you're doing a great job-

I scratched my stubble and sighed "I'm not doing much. I just took her home one night, and she didn't really go after that. Until yesterday she went to dinner with Serena, I had the boys over and when I woke up I didn't find her. I'm a bit worried actually"

-Oh don't be. She and Serena are here, they were having dinner with us. Wait she told you she had a date?-

I chuckled "See? She does it on purpose, she knew by telling me she had a date I'd be worried about her."

-Why don't you come over and spend the day?-

"I'm going boxing, I'll see if I can when I'm done. Oh and dad, the dean told me I could start my internship at the company that I didn't have to a second year. I also told him I worked with you during summer and even worked as a crew member he was glad."

-Sure, send me your schedule and I'll get you a timetable, I won't put it many hours though. I still need you to look out for my girl- I heard Elise chuckle next to him and smiled. We talked for a while, it was good talking to them. I had been gone for about a week now and it already felt like forever.

I was still wrapped in my towel as I finished eating my breakfast. This year was supposed to be great, living on my own, having my share of fun and now... it wasn't that bad, I liked having Lena around. But the fact that she hated me was a downer.

I heard the beep of my phone signaling me I had a message. I lazily opened it but when I saw her name flashing on the screen I sat upright and pressed on it. Reading it over and over, I was even smiling like an idiot. But why?

HW: Your moron friends are still there?

HW: Hello?

AY: morning beautiful. No they left

I waited but got nothing back, she was spending the day with her parents so why would she text and ask me about my friends?

AY: Are you coming home?

HW: what are you now, a stalker?

I groaned pushing my phone aside. She was just being so mean, but then again, that was her normal self toward me so why would it bother me so much?

I called Johnny D and asked him to meet me at ring, I really need to box out all the bad energy from my body it was just too much. I also remembered that still needed to send my schedule to my dad. I did that quickly and went to get ready.

Zachary was the one that taught me how to box. When I first lost my parents, I was an angry kid, and I gave a hard time. They did their best to make me happy but they couldn't replace the emptiness in my heart. I always got myself into fights at school, and if it wasn't for the huge donations Zachary did every year to the school I would have been thrown out.

One day I got into a fight, and it was very bad. I split the boy's lip and broken a few ribs. His parents wanted to press charges but Elise talked them out of it. She could always manage situations like those.

That day when I got home, I saw Zachary waiting us on the porch. I knew I was in trouble, and I thought he would ship me off to Turkey so I could live with my family there. But he surprised me. Elise left us on the porch together and he just stood there watching me silently. Then he motioned me to follow him to his gym, and I did not knowing what was waiting for me.

I saw a small boxing bag that wasn't there before. He threw me some boxing gloves "You're angry Adam? Get it out, come on, hit it as long as you need. We'll be coming here once a day, come on buddy". I remember his words as if it was yesterday.

I grabbed my bag and keys, checked my pockets for my wallet and phone and headed to the door. It opened before I even reached it.

Helena walked in making me smile, happy that I saw her before I could leave. But my smile faded as I noticed the infamous Josh Martin following after her. Saying I was boiling inside was an understatement. I didn't want to leave now that he was here with her. I couldn't leave them alone. But if I stayed I might take my anger out on him, and that wouldn't do me any good.

"Oh you're home" she grinned

"I was leaving" I glared at Josh

"Hi, I'm Josh Martin" he extended his hand to me but I didn't shake it.

I ignored him and looked Lena in the eyes "You broke rule number one Lena. I'm scratching it". I walked out without glancing back.
