Adam Yilmaz POV

"Are you...I mean... is this? Am I..."

"Adam? Are you okay?" Lena took a step back and inspected my features "Adam talk to me?"

I couldn't talk to her, I couldn't find the right words to say. I looked into her eyes, I really looked into the deep of her blue eyes and could see my future right in front of me. Everything I've ever wanted right in front of me.

I looked back to the box she gave me and let out a small chuckle as I took out a white baby romper. "Hello, Daddy!" I read out loud and let out another chuckle. I studied the box and saw two different test sticks both marking positive. There was also a cute little card.

"The only thing better than having you in my life will be our baby having you as a dad" Lena Smiled as I read her words out loud. I set the box on the floor and pulled her to me giving her a bone-crushing hug burying my nose into her soft wavy hair.

"Lena, tonight you made me the happiest man alive! You can't even begin to imagine how surprised I am" I couldn't contain the tiny tear of joy that escaped the corner of my eye. "I'm overjoyed and grateful for having you in my life, my future wife and mother of my children"

Lena wiped away her tears and cupped my face gently before shutting me up with a kiss. I presumed she couldn't trust her voice at the moment due to all the emotions flying around us. I knew how much it meant for her to have a baby, we've been trying for a while and her not being able to fall pregnant was becoming a burden on her pure heart.

"You'll be the greatest mother in the whole universe" I whispered against her cheek before placing a chaste kiss on her forehead. She was still silent but I knew she was as happy as I was, maybe even more. "I know this because you already are a great mother. I've seen you with Emily, you took her in and treated her like your own. You..."

Again, Lena shut me up with another kiss, but this time she was more determined as she kissed me hard and long until we were both out of breath.

"Adam just shut up will you?" She grinned breathing hard "I love you! I can't believe we're pregnant! After everything, I kind of lost hope. When I took the first test, I couldn't believe it and tried many other brands, they all came back positive. I didn't want to tell you at first, I wanted to surprise you and Emily together, but I couldn't keep it to myself. You are an amazing dad, and our kids, including Emily, will be so lucky to have you. Just like I am."

I took her hand in mine "I promise to always be there for you and our babies; I'll always put you before anything else. You can count on me Lena, I'll be with you all the way."

"I know you will, and I know being a parent can be scary, but we're managing just fine with Emily, and I'm not scared of having a baby because I have you. My backbone, my rock, my everything." She pulled me down and I rested my forehead on hers.

On our way home, Lena made me stop at five different pastry shops just because she was so happy and wanted to celebrate. Since she couldn't have any alcohol, she chose to celebrate with any kind of dessert she was able to find. It was so cute to watch her pick Turkish pastries she never had before, she seemed hesitant, yet was determined to try them all. All the way home she kept looking at her ring and back at me. When I would catch her looking she would blush and look away. She seemed fidgety and giddy and bubbly. Saying I was happy to see her like that was an understatement. It had been so long since she genuinely laughed or smiled like that.

"Shhh don't make too much noise" She whispered yelled at me as I was battling with my house keys.

"Maybe, just maybe, instead of ordering me to be quiet, you could help me out with all these dessert boxes so I can properly open the door?"

She giggled and shook her head "I'm pregnant, can't hold heavy things."

I rolled my eyes "Alright, then maybe you could take the key and open the door?"

"Hmmm let me think...."

"Lena I swear to god I'll tickle you till you cry" I grinned when I saw her eyes go round and she hurriedly took the keys from my struggling fingers.

Once inside, I set the boxes on the table and started taking my shoes off when I heard a snore. Lena and I exchanged a look and laughed quietly making our way to the living room. Serena and Kerem were asleep on the carpet by the fireplace with one of Emily's books in Kerem's hand and a brush in Serena's. Coming closer, we saw Emily snuggled into Serena's side.

"Look at the mess" Lena whispered gesturing to all the toys spread all around the living room. Snacks were everywhere. I held a laugh when I saw how horrified Lena was.

"We'll clean it up in the morning, what matters is Emily had fun. Right?"

"Take her to bed I'll at least clean up the food from the floor."

I nodded picking Emily up, I knew I shouldn't even try to object as Lily hated seeing food on the floor. And she was right about that. After putting her to bed, I gave her a good night kiss and went back downstairs to help Lena out, but she had already cleaned out everything and was now giving Kerem light kicks trying to wake him up.

"Lena? Weren't you just telling me to keep quiet? Leave them alone, come on let's go celebrate."

"No, I want them to celebrate with us!"

"They will tomorrow, it's late and..."

"Kerem! Serena! Wake up, guys!"

"God, you're stubborn!"

"I am but they are our friends! They should celebrate with us!"

I let her be and went to get the boxes with plates and forks. I set them on the coffee table and went to the kitchen to get the juice and glasses.

"Grrr... Ne oldu?" Kerem groaned still half asleep.

"Ne oldu?" Lena looked at me raising an eyebrow "What does that mean?"

"He's asking what happened, or what's going on." I chuckled and looked at the bottle of water "You think this will help?"

Lena looked at my pointed finger and an evil smile appeared on her face "You are so bad Adam, it turns me on" She giggled and took the bottle eagerly opening it. She threw the content on Kerem's face. He yelped and jumped on his feet.

"What?" He looked to his right and to his left all startled until his gaze focused on us. "You mother fucker!"

Lena and I burst into laughter. Serena who had just woken up looking confused joined our laugh as soon as she realized what just went down.

"You are going to pay for this Helena Walton!" He groaned heading to the bathroom.

"Maybe I went too far?" She asked me with those big blue eyes of hers, looking so innocent.

"You think?" I grinned shaking my head "Hey Serena, get up before she does the same to you. She's got a crazy vibe going on."

Serena got up on her feet and took long strides toward her friend inspecting her, looking her up and down. Lena flashed her the ring and they both started squealing and jumping and giggling and whatever. This is just not my scene...

I let them be and went outside with a beer in hand giving them some space. Who am I to disturb best friends' talk? Apparently, Kerem felt the same way as he followed me outside with a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other.

"It's getting crazy in there" He chuckled taking a drag of his cigarette. Kerem isn't a big smoker, but he likes to have a few once in a while.

"I bet! I knew what I was doing when I took out a beer with me. This might take a while."

"Congrats man!" he clinked his beer with mine "I think I'll be following in your footsteps soon. She's just everything I've ever wanted in a woman. Except going shopping with her, man that's disturbingly exhausting. I'd rather go to war."

We both chuckled exchanging a knowing look. I want to tell him about the baby, but I know Lena would be so mad at me for doing it without her. We wait for them for another hour before they decide to join us with all the cakes and pastries Lena got. After telling them the news, they wouldn't let us go to sleep keeping us up till sunrise.

Aside from being tired, we were happy, feeling content as we were lazily sitting on our wooden swing enjoying the soft morning breeze and the smell of coffee.

We didn't tell Emily right away, we kept it from her wanting to surprise her along with Elise and Zachary. But we did tell her about our engagement and she was ecstatic, unable to contain her joy. Our flight back to New York long and we were all eager to get home and see our family and give them the news. Kerem and Serena came back with us while Johnny D stayed in Istanbul with Kayra. It felt weird to come back without him, but he was in love, and I wasn't going to stand in his way. We were met by Mason at the airport, and as soon as Emily saw him she completely forgot about Lena and me.

She's crushing on Mason, great, just great!

We went straight to the Walton's mansion not wanting to waste more time before telling them we were having a baby.

"Emily, don't run by the pool please!"

"Yes mommyyy" Emily was running to the main door, her fiery hair flying all over. She noticed Amanda standing not so far from her. She stopped running and looked back at me. I jogged to where she was and raised an eyebrow at Amanda. I picked Emily up in my arms and she hid her face in the groove of my neck.

"Amanda"

"Adam." She gave me a small smile "Looking good."

"Thanks, I can say the same to you. How come you're out?"

"I'm clean. And I'm feeling better. I miss Emily and I want her back."

I was taken aback and didn't know what to say. I didn't want to give her Emily, I couldn't live without her anymore, let alone trust Amanda again. How can I be sure she won't have a stranger over at her house again? Endangering my baby girl? I shook my head letting out a heavy sigh. I knew if I wanted to fight over custody I'd win it easily, but I didn't want to fight Amanda. I wanted to reason with her. Before I could say anything, Emily lifted her head slowly and looked at her mother.

"I miss you too mommy" She whispered so low and looked back to where Lena was standing with Elise and Mason. So that what it's about? She misses her mom but doesn't want to say so in front of Lena. Her innocence made me smile.

"Oh, baby you do? Then why are you hiding from me?" Amanda felt hopeful again.

"I'm not hiding from you. I miss you and I love you but..." she looked up at me and placed her small hand on my cheek "I want to stay with daddy if that is okay with you?"

"When did you grow up so much?" Amanda had tears in her eyes, and I knew it wasn't easy for her to leave her daughter in the first place. She wasn't in a good place and now she is and she wanted her back. "How about you stay with me and you can see Daddy whenever you want?"

"How about I stay with daddy and see you whenever I want?" Wow, that was a smart way to answer. We both exchanged a knowing look.

I put Emily on her feet "How about you go say hi to grandma while I talk to your mom about this?"
