It had been 2 weeks since I'd met them, but it felt so much longer. The days dragged as I hoped they'd randomly come back into the store, needing to try more sweets, or this time wanting to try a McDonald's. Part of me started to think I had imagined them, there was no way to come to a conclusion of where they had come from.

The shop had been pretty much dead, other than a few old ladies coming in and the small rush hour after schools finished as they all waited for their buses. Everything was fully stocked in the shop, so there was nothing left to do other than sit and wait for something to turn up. I had started to read a bit from my book when I heard something fly into the door of the shop. I quickly got up to see what it was, expecting another pigeon on the floor from trying to get through the glass door, hoping it wasn't going to be dead like the last one that had tried and hit the door a bit too fast. Only I saw a box on the floor with a small note attached to it, and I swear I saw a grey owl flying away from the shop, looking like it had been dazed. I must have been imagining it, but there wasn't any post man near by, at least non that I could see, and I couldn't imagine any post-man throwing the little package at the door.
'Ember,
Thought you would enjoy
F&G'
Bertie Bott's every flavour bean. The one Fred and George were telling me about. My heart jumped up at just the thought, I wasn't as crazy as I had thought. There was no address on it, which made me wonder how it got to here and what got it here. My mind wondered back to the owl I thought I'd seen but I thought better not just incase I do go mental over the thought.

The smile on my face from the little present wouldn't move off of my face as I returned to the stool behind the till. The box wasn't like anything I'd ever seen before, it wasn't anything I was used to seeing, even considering where I worked. I opened the box to see an array of different coloured beans, I was going to try a green one before I thought about the flavours both Fred and George had told me about, and thought red might have been a better option to go for. Chilli. I straight away had to run for my bottle of water, it wasn't a mild chilli either. I was going to have to get them back for that. I took another chance at the beans, going for a yellow one this time, I reckoned that if I got a nice one it would be worth it, but a bad yellow would probably be the worst alongside green. It was banana which made the chance a bit more worth it.

Kelsey came rushing back in from her break, earlier than I was expecting. I quickly hid the box under the counter.
"You can finish early if you want." She had a massive grin on her face, basically skipping towards me. I frowned at her in confusion, something seemed off.
"Are you on something? You never finish your break early." I couldn't help but smile, still having the buzz from the little package as well as her excitement.
"You deserve a treat." Now she was starting to sound insane.
"I'll say yes if you tell me why."
"Just trying to be nice." She raised her eyebrows looking even more suspicious than before, I chose not to argue more about it and take the offer, and figure out something to do. I grabbed the box from under the counter along with my phone and threw my jacket over it.
"Have a fun time." She giggled as she put her apron on. I gave a small smile, trying not to laugh as I walked out of the shop.

I took my hair out of the ponytail as I walked out and ruffled it out of the set position it was in and looked about to get an idea of what to do. There was a sudden feeling of wind hit either side of me, making me jump. Only for me to jump even more when I saw two people either side of me.
"Fu- what the hell!" I jumped and hit the person on my right in the stomach, only to welcome a loud grown in response to the hit, which was clearly a lot harder than I had anticipated.
"Wicked. Wish I'd get away with hitting the git." The voice came from the figure on my left, chuckled. He was laughing at the sight of his twin brother, now hunched over at my side.
"Oh George I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to- I mean you made me jump." I spoke fast, feeling guilty but also recovering from the fright. "You're going to give me a heart attack if you do that again." George was now laughing and straighten himself up.
"You sound just like our mum." Fred laughed, and George joined in.
"At least I know she's got a good fight in her." George laughed and moved a strand of my hair back into place, almost like a natural movement.

I was about to ask them why they were here, and then it dawned on me.
"You two put Kelsey up to letting me off early, didn't you?" I couldn't help but laugh in amazement at them.
"Couldn't resist our good looks you see. Especially mine, since I'm the better looking one." Fred looked far too impressed with himself.
"Don't kid yourself mate, you know I'm the better looking one." George responded with just as much confidence. I could see where this is going.
"No I am."
"No, I am."
"I am."
"I am."
"I am."
"You two are aware that you're twins right?" I watched them, astounded. This was clearly a normal occurrence. I rolled my eyes at them and laughed, starting to walk, not knowing where I was meant to be going but they followed.
"Don't take offence, just because you know she'd say me." Fred whispered, not giving it up. I knew how to shut them both up.
"If you have to know, George is the better looking twin." I smirked and winked at George, making him look even more smug than necessary. "Is there a reason you've returned from the dead then? Or was it just to give me a heart attack." We hadn't even moved very far from where we had started. They both looked at each other with a suspicious look.
"We need your help." George started.
"Well it's more of a proposition."
"A very good proposition."
"A very ve-" I could see where this was going, again.
"What is it?" I interrupted them before they began to go off on one again.
"Maybe we should go somewhere else?" George's eyebrows raised as he looked around to see all the people around us. I nodded and chose to follow them.

They seemed to know their way around a lot more than I thought they would, but they were looking round every corner as if they were looking out for something or someone. People looked up and stared at the tall red-headed twins as we moved past them, neither of them seemed to notice, or if they did they didn't mind it. They were probably used to it. We had made it through various alleyways and shortcuts that even I had never been through before.
"How do you even know where you're going?" I wondered in disbelief as I followed Fred, George closely behind.
"We always know shortcuts, it's a talent of ours." George laughed behind me.
"Got a good memory for ways like this." Fred turned his head gave George a smug look. "I think little Georgie may have been lying about not knowing his way round to get the pretty girls attention." My face burnt up straight away, and the butterflies erupted again.
"Shut up Fred." George retaliated from behind, rolling his eyes as he spoke. I didn't want to look back incase he saw my blood rushing to my face.

I could see the river that ran throughout the small city in the distance, but this wasn't somewhere I'd been before. We had somehow come out through an opening that led to under one of the bridges that crossed over the river. I wouldn't even know this was here. There was a little bench underneath the bridge, it was a bit dingy and probably somewhere I wouldn't want to be at night, but for now it was good. Although, it made me nervous why we had gone to such lengths to get away.
"How did you know about this place? I've lived here my whole life and never even thought to come here." I laughed and shook my head at them, sitting on the small bench and putting my bag onto the floor.
"You need some adventure in your life, Ember. That's how we know about this place." George sat on one side of me as Fred spoke.
"We ran off when we came here with the rest of the family, Ginny and Ron were still so young that we managed to get away when mum was looking after them." George started.
"Then when we got here, George reckoned he could dangle me over the ledge without me touching the water." Fred laughed, looking over the water.
"Mum found us just as I dropped him in." George burst out laughing just at the thought of it; his laugh was contagious.
"Bet you give your poor mum a headache."
"You have no idea." George smirked as he spoke.

George noticed the box of Bertie Botts every flavour bean poking out of my bag and took it out.
"What colour?" He spoke to Fred, who looked like he was up for the challenge.
"Brown." Fred's face had mischief across it.
"Up for it Ember?" I wasn't going to decline the challenge, and took one of the brown beans from George's hand, only creating an impressed look across both their faces.
"Just because I might look shy, doesn't mean I'm not up for a challenge." I gave them both a smug look before eating the bean. "Roast beef. Not bad, don't think either of you will do better than that." I watched as they both took the hint to try there one. Fred began to gag pretty much straight away, but was trying to act like it wasn't as bad as it really was. George on the other hand, wasn't looking as fussed by his flavour, although it could have been better.
"Dirt. Eaten enough of that by accident anyway." George whispered to me before starting to crack up at Fred, who was currently leaning over the river trying to get rid of whatever he'd eaten.
"He was like this with vomit before, acts the big man, then is hanging over a river trying to sort himself out." George was enjoying his brothers pain too much.
"Dog food is so much worse." Fred's face was still a picture of disgust as he came to sit on the other side of me. I quickly got out a bottle of water that was in my bag to try and help him out a little bit. He looked like he really appreciated the water.

"So you know how you're a muggle sweet expert." George suddenly spoke, he looked like he was trying to tease me calling me that again, knowing I still didn't know what it meant. Every time he looked at me made me melt a little bit more. I needed to get myself together.
"Of course. What else would I be." I winked, trying to act more confident than I was currently feeling.
"Me and Fred have our own business, it's mainly full of things to prank people with." George looked as though he was trying to figure out how to word what he was saying. He looked a bit nervous.
"Mainly things that would get you a day off school." Fred interjected, also looking like he was holding back a bit.
"We've made our own kind of sweets, although they are very different to what you'd be used to. Definitely not something you'll have had before." George began to laugh, the mischievous look returning. "But, we want some muggle things in it too, a lot of people who would come to the shop wouldn't have tried the things that you have in your shop, or things like in the one we went into a couple of weeks ago." The way he spoke about it began to feel very strange. They began to seem almost alien-like with how different they were almost describing themselves and people like them. Surely things they sold wouldn't be that much different from what I knew, unless there was reason for it to be. I was becoming more suspicious as they spoke.
"We both thought that if you were interested, you could be a massive help." Fred spoke a lot calmer than I was used to him speaking.

The offer did sound interesting, but it was hard to get a sense of what they actually meant when they were so distant from what I was used to. The thought of them being alien kept creeping up in my mind, as they described how different things they sold were compared to what I knew. The only explanation other than them actually being from space and were planning on abducting me to sell skittles to other little aliens, or that they were either from a really secluded village, that meant that the only toys children would have would be wooden toys, that would only entertain kids from around here for a minute or two.
"You know it's hard to understand, what you mean when you're both talking like you're about to slip up and announce that you're from Mars. I'm actually expecting you to abduct me and get me a job showing alien children what a Mars bar is and explain that it's not actually part of their planet at this point." I laughed at my explanation knowing that I sounded just as mad.
"You probably wouldn't be too far off from the truth if that was right." Fred crackled, leaning back into the seat again.
"So, what I'm getting from you both, is that you want me to help you to find things like sweets and toys, for you to sell to other 'non-muggles', so that they'll be just as amazed and excited as you two were the day I met you both?" I asked, slightly in disbelief. I'm not sure if they were aware that they had literally met me once two weeks ago.
"Exactly." George grinned at me. Only setting the butterflies off again.
"You are aware that you've met me once right? How do you know that I'm not going to steal from you or something?" Even though I couldn't believe the offer, part of me wanted to just say yes to it no questions asked.
"Trust me, we'd be able to see if you were a threat." Fred laughed at me.
"We've met a lot worse." George carried on. "So much worse, you wouldn't even know." There was a humour in how he spoke, but also a bit of sadness.
"Nothing we can't handle though." Fred started to flex his imaginary muscles at that point.
"Tell me more and I'll consider then." I sat back in the chair, leaning back so both could lean more in front when they spoke. I couldn't help but enjoy the look of hope and excitement in their faces.

As Fred began to explain his review on the sweets they had bought, and what ones he wanted for the shop, I caught sight of what at first seemed like a dark cloud, moving closer. Then another, and another, until there was at least three coming closer, but they were too fast and dark for a cloud. It looked like a small meteor shooting through the sky, coated in a thick black smoke that glided alongside them. I could see in the corner of my eye that George had seemed to notice too as I sat forward, watched the first one plummet towards the bridge that we were sat underneath, creating an explosion above us, followed by the screams of people. I suddenly felt myself being pulled behind George, one arm wrapped around me whilst the other was now holding some kind of stick. Fred had gotten up and was watching out for the other side, I could see another Boulder of thick black smoke, this time was aiming for under the bridge where we were, as others targeting the bridge and it began to twist itself. The black smoke dispersed as it landed onto the ground, revealing a fierce looking man in all black, who also had a some kind of stick in his hand. Before I knew it, lights began to flash from out of these objects in all three of there hands, all seeming to attack each other. I grabbed hold of the back of George's shirt as he held onto me with one arm, looking like he was defending us from the lights that were sparking out from the dark figured one. A bright spark shot from Fred, stunning the figure and knocking them to the ground. The sounds of screams from above, and the twists of the bridge with snapping sounds became louder, but I felt like I couldn't hear or feel anything in that moment. Frozen at the sight. I could see George quickly turning around and grabbing hold of me firmly as Fred charged at us, grabbing the both of us too. The senseless feeling was overtaken by the feeling of fast movement, too fast to even describe, but like the three of us were merging in and out of each other.

We were greeted to crashing into a long wooden table and chairs. Somewhere that I had never been before, and not somewhere I'd even seen. All of a sudden I had gone from being under a bridge about to break, and flashing sparks, and the screams of people terrified, to the sight of what looked like a kitchen.
