"Oi! Komaeda!". A young man near twenty stepped into a tiny brewing area. "Yes Amami~kun?". "You can call me Rantaro you know?". "And you can always call me Nagito, but if you want to insult me that's fine too". The green haired male rolls his eyes.

       "I got the ingredients you asked for, just what are you making this time?". Another male, turns around from looking at the mix in front of him to look at the male in the eyes. "I'm just trying out new potions, maybe convert them into a spell?". "Are you making a death spell with these ingredients then?", "Cause these came from dangerous mobs".

        "Experimenting outside of my natural element never hurt anybody right?", the male asks while smiling. The other one looks unconvinced, "That's a lie at least one person gets hurt through the process, whether it's you or someone else".

      "So maybe someone does get hurt but I at least heal them afterwards". "Komaeda you already know lots of elements and mastered them, why do you need more?". The fluffy haired male gets nervous a bit.

        "Plus you get even stronger each time you want to try out a new thing". "Meditation, every magic user or mage knows you can get stronger by meditation or working out a specific part of the body, or do both!". "Like you meditation squats or lunges?".

      "Precisely!". "You don't even need to workout your legs Ko". "I have to look good for someone, Rantaro~kun!". "You don't need to do anything for anyone".

       "Oh don't get me wrong, I look good for myself trying to look good for a nice guy is a bonus". Rantaro sighs and runs his hand through his hair. "I'm getting ahead of myself again, to think that anyone could actually like me in the first place!".

      "Ko stop degrading yourself, you'll end up finding someone, but not for your body", Rantaro tells him. "Most men are perverted sex animals, how else are you supposed to attract them?", Nagito asks him.

        Rantaro glares a bit, "It's funny how you say that and yet you're a guy as well". "And that's exactly how I know men are perverted sex animals". "Are you calling yourself out?". "Yes, yes I am". He chuckles, "You're an unique one bestie". "I'm still wondering why you stayed this whole time". "Me too".

       Nagito playfully hits Rantaro, "Hey! I know I suck but don't agree with me!". "So you want me to lie to you?". "You're an certified asshole and playboy". "Oi! I just look like one". "You are one". Rantaro playfully smirked, "You wanna fight?". Nagito also playfully smirks, "Yeah I wanna fight".

        The door opens again, "What are you two mortals doing?". "Gundam! You're back!" Nagito exclaimed. "No shit, I'm a hollowgram I sent to check up on my two dumbass friends". "Jeez Gundam, you don't have to be so harsh with us" Rantaro stated, scratching his neck lightly. "We are very chaotic Taro", Nagito speaks up. They both glare at him, "No it's mainly you Nagito".

        "Ok, ok I get it". "Though what exactly are you two doing again?". "We were going to play fight but you came back, how was the trip?" Rantaro asks, leaning against a wall. "Amazing but exhausting" Gundam answers with a sigh.

       Nagito grabs three chairs and hands one to the both of them, "Tell us about it while I brew these ingredients". "You're making another spell? I worry for you" Gundam tells him.

       Everyone knew that if you got too powerful, you're easily a threat and could be killed. "I won't get killed, I can assure you that", "The council may be cautious of me, but I'm unpredictable so they won't even know" Nagito states.

     "You already know 5 different types and mastered them, why do you need more?" Rantaro asks. "Firstly, this about Gundam and his trip now me, secondly... I'm trying out a yin spell" Nagito admits.

         "So you really wish for death huh?" Gundam asks, leaning back a bit. "Of course not! Well yes but no ugh! I just wanted to try and see if I was one of the yin or yang" he explains. "Isn't that illegal?" Rantaro asks, curiosity written all over his face.

     "Very much so, there was a year where a couple pretended to be them and got arrested, maybe even executed" Gundam answered.

          "Death is upon you Ko, if they find out". "And they won't! Don't you guys have any faith in me?" Nagito yells. "Ko don't yell, of course we have faith in you or else we would've stopped you" Rantaro tells him, hoping that it reassures him. Nagito only rolls his eyes, "How was your trip Gundam, also do you guys want anything to eat?".

          "Yes and speaking of yin yang, a weird lady talked to me about it during my trip". "Oh really? What did she say?" Rantaro asks Gundam. "She said I knew one of the yin yang, though I'm acquainted with a lot of people, I wouldn't know where to start" he explains.

       "How would that lady know unless she was stalking you?". "That's a good point, no random person who you've seen before could know that!".

       "That lady could've been a special fortune teller, dumb mortals". "Drop the act, it's just us here anyways" Nagito says, with a tray of snacks in his hand. "Yum, some of besties snacks". Rantaro tries to reach for the snacks, but Nagito smacks his hand.

        "You can wait, here Gundam, take your pick". He takes a few cookies and proceeds to nibble one. "Oi! I went and got your ingredients and you can't give me a snack?!".

         "Here, I'm not sure why you're making a fuss if you weren't getting snacks at all". Nagito then hands the tray of cookies to Rantaro. The green haired male immediately starts going ham on the cookies. "Taro~chan slow down before you choke!". "On what", he winked.

       "I'm three seconds away from slapping you playboy". "I'm just kidding Ko! Come sit next to me, I'll slow down on the cookies and we can share" Rantaro tells him with a smile.

      Nagito smiles softly and outs his chair next to him. "Yuck, either get a room or stop acting like lovers" Gundam spat bitterly. "We're not acting like lovers, your bitter you can't see Sonia right now", "Plus we're gay!".

       "You're straight Taro~chan..." "No I'm not". "Then bi". "...Are you telling me to leave or that I'm bisexual?". Gundam and Nagito laugh at their best friend. "Don't laugh at me guys!".

        "Are you really bisexual Taro~chan?" he asks, looking at the male. "Well yeah, people are beautiful". Nagito looks at Gundam, they both smirk at each other and then look back at Rantaro. "So are we beautiful Taro~chan?" Nagito asks, smirking. "Of course you guys are!".

        "So you would date us if you had the chance?". "I- what?". "You heard him Rantaro, would you date the both of us?". Silence filled the air for a few minutes before Nagito started giggling. "Assholes, both of you". They both start laughing. "Oi! You guys are assholes! I'ma get new best friends one day ya know?!".

       The three best friends talked, joked, and teased each other for three rest of the day. Tomorrow is a new day right? Well, a tomorrow could change everything that those three know, and another group of three lives would change too.
