THE NEXT TWO WEEKS were nothing but furniture stores and receipts that came out way too long. he insisted on helping out, but taehyung was barely able to consider reaching for his wallet before his boyfriend already swiped his card across the reader for the hundredth time.

"dude let me pay." taehyung finally said something on their way back to the car. they had just gotten accent pillows for the couch and some placemats.

"dude no." jungkook tried to mimic the older boys deeper voice.

taehyung just stared at him. "i don't sound like that."

"i don't sound like that." the younger tried again. he ended up coughing instead and the brunette just walked away to leave him to sound like he was dying.

jungkook was grabbing the shopping bags and coughing out his lungs, trying to catch up to the other already half way through the parking lot. "i inhaled saliva." the ravenette said, once their footsteps were synced and shoulders bumping as they walked.

"that's lovely." taehyung rolled his eyes at the boy, wondering how such a dork could be such a criminal as well. the duality is insane.

they packed up the car, an array of bags and boxes from earlier trips already strategically stacked in the backseat. "why can't we put stuff in your apartment?" taehyung finally asked once they were on the road again, this time the destination unknown. the ravenette had kept checking his watch, saying they could be late. for what, the older male wasn't sure.

"because." it was jungkooks wonderful answer to everything — and if his boyfriend didn't love him so much then he may have punched him for saying that again.

they had bought quite a lot to redecorate, but everything was either still in jungkooks car or had been placed in a storage shed. nothing in the apartment really looked different, except for the addition of some of taehyungs clothes in the closet, but other then that it was bare and dark as usual.

taehyung frown a bit, and he glanced out the window at little city shops passing by and strangers walking on the sidewalk. it slowed as they stopped by a red light, but he stayed looking out the window. "do you not want to change your apartment? i'm sorry if you feel like i'm pushing it." he admitted, glancing at the dark haired boy in the drivers seat.

"shut up dummy," jungkook said, romantic as ever. "i want this, just wait a minute." he said, starting to drive again as the light turned green and his focus was back on the road.

his boyfriend just nodded, but the subtle frown was still there.

the little shops and cafes became less, not as many buildings so close together and no dirty alleys separating them. there was more trees and space as they started to leave the city, now driving on the outskirts of it. taehyungs blue mood turned into curiosity, wondering what they were doing and where they were going.

"kook?" he said his name as a question, the syllable just an intro to the confusion in his head as the boy simply ignore him and parked on the curb.

it was a neighborhood, sidewalks lining the front of small lawns in front of houses with bushes and trees separating each lot for subtle privacy. taehyung looked out the curiously and only opened the door once noticing he was alone the car now.

there was a woman who visibly brightened when she saw jungkook walking up to her. they briefly hugged, and taehyung shut the car door a little bit louder then he should have.

his boyfriend turned and smiled, walking back to the brunette who still stood by the car. "come on tae." jungkook said, his hand placed on the small on his back to guide him towards the woman.

"i swear. if this is another ex fiancé—" taehyungs whisper was cut off but his boyfriend pinching his waist. "no, be nice." jungkook said.

the couple was now standing in front of the lady again, and she couldn't have been that much older then them. her bangs were brushed neatly and cut straight across, red lips in a nice smile that matched the maroon blazer and pencil skirt she wore. "you must be mr. kim." she said, shaking his hand politely. "now that you're both here, let's get started."

she smiled and turned, heels clicking against the sidewalk that led up to a house. jungkooks palm pressed against his back to make him walk forward, following her up to the large U- shaped mahogany doors of the two story house.

"this is a small mediterranean style home, two floors with the master bedroom and wrap around balcony on the second and a guest on the first towards the back for privacy." the woman had spoke, opening the doors to the home and showing off high ceilings with dark wooden beams across the ceiling that contrasted perfectly with the white. "it has a low pitched red tile roof and abode exterior, the windows let in the beautiful sunlight and show the backyard and garden wonderfully."

taehyung barely heard what she said, because his jaw was open and eyes trying to take in the house all at once. it was white marbles floors and cream colored walls that fit the almost spanish and tropical vibes of the places. three large U-shaped windows that matched the front door and archways, along the entire wall of the living room and very much did let in lots of sunlight. there were palm trees outside, seen through the windows and framing them beautifully, a nice way to allow some privacy but still being able to see the green grass of the lawn and pretty flowers lining the stone patio.

it was all so grand and stunning, still fitting in a small home with only two bedrooms and a small yard outfront. the outside looked gorgeous, but it struggled to compare to the interior — and it was absolutely nothing compared to the handsome ravenette leaning against the main archway, a fond smile on his lips as he only watched his boyfriend look around the home. taehyung turned to look at him, and he could only shake his head. "you're insane." was all he could say.

"do you like the framed doors? you've talked about wanting that style before." jungkook said, that damn smile still on those pink lips.

"when did you even find this house?" taehyung asked. he waved his arms to gesture around him, he almost forgot there was a realtor there with them as well.

jungkook walked towards him. "i know you like balconies. did you see the vines on the wall framing the master bedroom?"

it was like they were having two entirely different conversations, but they were completely on the same page, somehow. "you didn't even think to tell me? or ask what i thought about buying a house?" taehyung said.

"do you love it?" jungkooks hands were on his hips, a gentle caress through the silk fabric tucked perfectly into nice fitted black pants. taehyung always looked stunning, no matter what he wore.

the older boy sighed, and his hand came up to cup his boyfriend cheek. "i love you, stupid." he said. jungkook was still smiling, and the older boy kissed that smile soon after until the ravenettes gentle touch on his hips became a secure tug around his waist, pulling him against his chest like he was telling him he'd never let go.

"i take that as a yes." jungkook whispered against his lips, and his boyfriend just giggled. "i do love the balcony." he admitted.

"and i'll take that as a yes." the lady cut in with a cheeky grin and a laugh to follow, finally deciding it was appropriate to butt in and say that she was indeed still there with them also.

of course they talked a bit after, touring the house some more and going outside to see the backyard. taehyung stood beneath one of the trees and looked up at the house, seeing his boyfriend on the patio with his arms loosely crossed as he talked to the realtor. taehyung might have been imagining it, but jungkook visibly looked comfortable standing there, and taehyung thought he could imagine jimin sitting on the stone floor by the flowers with his legs crossed and blonde hair shining even more brightly in the sun, and namjoon would be leaning against the outside of the house with his arms also crossed and he'd try to pretend like he wasn't staring at the small blonde boy. and then yoongi would be sitting on the cushioned patio chairs while jin cooked something on the grill with avril lavigne playing off his phone and hobi would be trying to get yoongi to play some game with him and he'd act annoyed but really he'd never want hoseok to leave him alone.

taehyung must have been imagining it all, or being a little dramatic and unrealistic, but god he wanted it. he's lived in hotels his whole life and he's never had a home, and he just wanted it so badly.

"hey, baby?" jungkooks voice seemed to scare him from his thoughts, and taehyung didn't even notice that he had walked down the couple stone steps from the patio and stood beside him. taehyung didn't even notice that a tear had fallen from his eyes until the younger brushed it away with a kiss.

jungkook wrapped his arms around the boy, and he hugged him so tightly. "i see it too." he whispered against the boys brown hair, voice muffled and heavy with emotion. "hush, baby," he whispered again, rubbing taehyungs back and kissing the top of his head. "we're home now, its okay."
