Marella Redek was one of Sophie Foster's first friends when she first came to the Lost Cities. She took her in when people were gossiping about the brown-eyes elf and she helped Sophie navigate school at Foxfire.

But that all changed when Sophie started hanging out with Fitz Vacker, Biana Vacker, and Keefe Sencen.

Sophie started drifting from Marella and spent more and more time with the Vackers and Keefe. Eventually, Marella was just someone she'd wave at in the halls until she became so distant in Sophie's memory that acknowledgement was an unattainable dream.

When Marella came out as a pyrokinetic, she was suddenly super valuable and necessary to Sophie's friend group. After the disaster at Loamnore, she decided she'd had enough.

She was tired of being ditched, ignored, and used by the one and only Sophie Foster. So she does the most unimaginable thing ever.

She joins the Neverseen.
