The newest addition

Axel looked at Ares with shock written clear on his face. He didn't expect the boy he had saved (without him so much as saying thank you) to be one of his new roommates.

"You know Ares?" Brandon asked a bit shocked at that as the two were pretty much polar opposites. "Briefly. The rude boy couldn't even say thank you for me saving his sorry ass." Axel muttered angrily with a glare shot Ares' way.

With the small look Ares sent Axel the boy scoffed some and walked into the only unclaimed room, putting his bags down as he glanced out at the group.

After dinner everyone worked together to clean up the mess minus Axel, he didn't join them for dinner so the group wouldn't force him to help out even if he did he could help if he wanted to or not.

Josephine was washing the dishes as, much to her annoyance, Brandon was drying them. The taller man was by her side, on occasion shoulders bumping into each other. Brandon was working on solving the puzzle that was Josephine and the girl was just keeping the tower walls up and guarded, she was the prisoner and the dragon of her mind.

Louis had finished sweeping the floor as he busied himself. Estella sitting on the chair, her eyes occasionally flickering towards the man. "You know it's unfair for Josephine to do the dishes when she cooked. Plus she's new! It's always been someone cooks and the others clean after dinner." Estella said simply as she looked at the youngest Rowlington there.

Who honestly didn't mind as it gave her something to do. "It's okay, I don't mind." Josephine sent her a soft smile. Delilah looking over at her. "Stell has a point buuutt if you don't mind." She said the last part with a laugh showing she was glad she wasn't the one doing the dishes.

Axel glanced at everyone doing a respective job before he saw the bathroom light on, door open, as Ares worked on cleaning the wounds the rest of the way. Ares trying his best to put on some butterfly stitches on the worst one.

Axel rolled his eyes a bit and walked into the bathroom. He didn't say anything as he took the rag and stitches from his hand. Ares looking at him with some shock as Axel started to clean the wound. Ares flinching slightly in pain. "Sorry." Axel mumbled but it didn't sound all that genuine.

'its fine' Ares signed, nose wrinkled slightly in pain. Axel paused in his movements as he looked at him. He felt like shit realizing that Ares didn't thank him because he couldn't, he couldn't talk to him. Axel looked at him with regret. 'Sorry for being a asshole earlier ' Axel sighed as he started to put on the butterfly stitches.

He fought a smile as he saw Ares' eyes lit up when Axel used sign language back to communicate with him. Once he finished he stepped back to look at him. 'There all patched up'

'Thank you, for this and for earlier. You really saved me' Ares offered him a sweet smile which Axel returned with a slightly smirked one of his own.

"Ares, Axel we are starting a movie if you want to join us!" Clara called out as she flopped on the couch, laying across a blushing Delilah and a playfully scowling Louis.

'Come on, movie' Axel signed as he started walking towards the living room, Ares trailing behind him like a lost puppy. Louis, Delilah and Estella sat on the couch, Clara across the two. Josephine was sitting on the rug on the floor with Brandon, who she kept some distance from. So Ares and Axel took the last two spots on a loveseat.

They had let Josephine pick the movie so sixteen candles started to play across the screen. Ares looked towards Louis with a arched eyebrow in a questioning manner. "They forced me." He gestured towards Josephine and Estella who gave a gasp. "forced?"
"All I said was please!' the two girls argued with a laugh as the younger sister swatted at her brother, having to almost lean across Brandon to do so.

Brandon's eyes flickering towards the younger woman, with a smile seeing how she seemed more relaxed the she was before.

Everyone settled into the movie, Ares making two bowls of popcorn to be shared, letting them know that he would make more if he needed.

Estella and Josephine could easily quote the movie, while mostly the guys looked confused by this movie, not seeing it as a classic coming of age story and mostly catching on to the sex part of the movie.

"Don't be a smart ass." Estella said as she quoted the movie. Josephine's eyes turning up to look at her. "Ok, then Ill be a dumbass." She finished the quote the two starting to laugh again. Brandon and Louis were both looking towards the girls with soft smiles on their faces.

By the time the movie was over, the group was asleep. Estella was leaning against Louis who had his head resting on hers, Clara and Delilah were cuddling with Clara practically on the other girls lap.

Ares and Axel slept on the loveseat, a bit of distance between the two as they slept. Josephine and Brandon fell asleep on the floor, her back facing him as the sounds of soft breathing filled the air.

It was a good first night at a new place. New friends, family and having fun
