It was obvious that we didn't trust them.

They are clearly not from Chicago, and they don't seem to have a certain system either. They are dressed in dark red uniforms that look  insulated and battle ready but they're all identical.

But what choice do we have?

So we get into their means of transportation - futuristic SUVs - and let them take us to the Bureau.

It's a miracle I haven't dozed off by the time we get there.

I haven't slept since early last night, and it's starting to take its toll on me.

Tris, after attempting to fight it for at least half an hour, finally fell asleep.

Looking at her now makes me smile slightly. She looks very peaceful.

I like the new look, though I know it won't last.

The rest of us keep our smalltalk to a minimum, but I still catch snippets of Peters and Calebs conversation.

"What do you think they're going to do with us once we get there?" Caleb asks.

"I don't know. Give us all a warm dinner and a place to sleep?" Peter answers sarcastically.

Actually, that's exactly what they do.

When we get to the Bureau, they give us new clothes and show us to a room with several cots - one for each of us.

It's not as futuristic as I imagined, but that's not exactly a problem.

Some of us sit down on our chosen cots, while the rest of us, including me, change into our new outfits in our designated bathrooms.

My outfit reminds me of the clothes Dauntless initiates wear, but more simple.

More importantly, it reminds me of home. My home, at least. Chicago.

I pray that one day we can go back there with all the means to help our people.

I leave the bathroom with a new goal, a new purpose, but I can't help but raise an eyebrow when I see that Tris's outfit is white.

All of the other outfits have been black - like mine - except hers.

"Hey." She says, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Hey." I say back, smiling slightly and hugging her. "You okay?"

"Better than I've been in a while." She says, looking up at me. "Tobias, we made it."

I kiss her forehead "We did didn't we." I can't help but be happy for her. She fulfilled her goal in getting here, and now we have a second chance to help the people we love.

All because of her.

Just as I am about to kiss her for her accomplishment, a young man starts walking right in our direction and I stop, just as he speaks.

"Beatrice." He says, and Tris looks, surprised that he knows her name. "I'm Matthew, and David wishes to meet you."

Her eyebrow rises up. "Right now?"

"He'd like that, yes."

I already don't like this guy or David. We've barely been here for 45 minutes and he's already trying to see what he can get from us.

As we both start follow him he stops me. "Only her." He says.

I reluctantly step back, wave at Tris a bit, and start making plans any how to make up for our lost kiss later.

About 2 hours later, a small alarm sounded, and two guards entered our room.

"Please come with us." One of them says.

As much as I'd like to continue kissing Tris discretely, we both get up and follow everyone out.

They take us to a square-like area that a lot of people can fit in.

The guards in red from earlier to around to each person, scanning and they stamping them with something.

Tris looks at me wearily and I can tell that we are both reminded of the secret Dauntless robot army Eric and Jeanine planned out when Tris and her friends became Dauntless members.

Hopefully these people are nothing like them.

They make it to Tris first, and one they are done stamping her, I see that there are tiny cylinders in rows in her wrist. 16 to be exact.

They stamp me next, and when they pull away, I see that I have the same cylinders, only I'm missing one.

I can't help but think that there is something I'm not doing right.

At least to their standards.
