Audrey's POV

I woke up feeling very warm. It was a comfortable warm. I opened my eyes and I was wrapped around a huge Christopher. He was merely there and I was holding him for dear life. I quickly let go not wanting to get caught by him.

I noticed that I was woken up by an alarm under the pillow. It was vibrating and it made a faint sound. Good thing I woke up or else we would've missed our flight.

"Christopher wake up." I started to shake him awake. He grumbled and stretched. "Come on we are going to be late if we don't get ready."

"Mmmm. Excited to meet my family." He said still stretching.

"I'm doing this for your sake."

"I'd rather stay and let you hold me all night." He smiled.

"You know." I said embarrassed. I got caught.

"Beautiful I knew you liked me. But don't worry I look forward to being held all night when we get to the lake house." He said being cocky.

"No. This will be the last time." I needed to set boundaries even if I didn't want to.

"Sure." He said raising his eyebrows.

"Shut up. We need to go." I got up and headed to the restroom in the room I was supposed to sleep in. Why did I have to fall asleep?

I took a shower and decided to wear a white off the shoulder dress and a hat for accessory.

I headed to Christopher's room and seen him looking super hot. Muscle shirts suit him really good.

"You ready beautiful?"

"Yup."

"I knew that dress would make your skin shine." He said looking me up and down.

"Can you stop checking me out and let's get a move on."

"Alright. Let me call Jeff and tell him to bring the car up." He finished his call with Jeff and we headed down towards the parking structure.

Jeff came jogging towards Christopher who decided to take all our bags down. He was struggling even though he tried to hide it.

After we got settled in, in the back of the car, we were on our way. It took about 30 minutes to get to the runway. We are taking a private jet. My first time on a plane and I am freaking out.

We walked up the stairwell and sat down. Of course Christopher had to sit next to me.

"You'll be okay it's only a 2 hour flight and the only bad part is ascending and descending." I nodded and held on to the armrest.

He grabbed my hand and gave me a reassuring smile. I threw my head back and closed my eyes, bracing myself for the departure.

After we were in the air officially I was fine. But I still didn't look out the window. The sun began to rise, it was still early morning.

A flight attendant came towards us and gave us the menu for the breakfast. I feel high class. I'm not sure how I feel about this though.

I decided on some scrambled eggs and bacon with a side of waffles. Christopher wanted an omelette.

We dug in and I started thinking of Christopher's family. Hopefully they like me.

"What are you thinking?" He said drinking his coffee.

"I hope I make a good impression. I don't do well when someone doesn't like me, unless I make them hate me."

"Beautiful don't worry. My family is nice and welcoming to anyone."

"I know but you never know. They can disapprove of me....oh my god...what do I say when they ask what do I do for a living?!" They are going to think I'm a slut! Stupid stereotypes! "If I tell them what I really am they are going to think I am a freak! I can imagine it now! 'Oh Christopher where did you find this girl? In a strip club?' They are going to hate me!" I turned towards Christopher and he was laughing. Laughing!

"Audrey you are seriously freaking out. We are going to tell them everything honestly. No lies. Like I said they are welcoming no matter what. Well there are some things that they will disapprove but they won't disapprove of you. As long as I'm happy they are happy."

"Remember we are faking this relationship Christopher."

"A man can dream." He went on eating.

Can we be honest with what I do for a living? Can I? I mean most families don't want their son to be dating a burlesque dancer. We are seen to have a bad reputation even though we are totally real and genuine on the inside. I am sometimes not totally onboard on saying what I do for a living to everyone. I know that is wrong but it's true. We will just have to see.

Christopher's POV

I could tell Audrey was anxious the whole way here. I reassured her over and over again to not worry but it didn't work.

Right now we are on our way to the lake house. I am excited to see my family and Audrey is the reason why. My family won't nag me about finding a girl and getting married soon. Now that I finally have one I am happy even though the girl I brought doesn't know we are getting married.

The car pulled up in front of the lake house and I opened the door for Audrey to come out. She was staring in awe at the house.

"Audrey." I said getting her attention.

"Oh sorry. This house is amazing. It's distracting."

"My Mom hired an interior designer to design the entire house. You should see inside." I grabbed her hand. "You ready?" I whispered.

She nodded and we heard screaming. We turned to see who it was but I already knew who was coming. Mom. She came running towards us.

"Christopher! I am glad you could make it! I missed you so much honey!" She kissed me on both cheeks and gave me a tight hug. For a little woman she is strong. "Let me get a look at her." She turned to Audrey and she sighed and smiled. "You finally found a gorgeous young lady. Come here darling and give me a hug." She wrapped her arms around Audrey and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

I seen Audrey smiling. It was a genuine smile. I knew it brought back the memory of her mother. My Mom's love giving her pleasure made me extremely happy.

"And what is your name dear?" My Mom asked.

"Audrey James. It is a pleasure to meet you Mrs. Mason." Audrey said.

"Oh dear call me Carol or Mom if you'd like." She winked at me and Audrey.

"Mom." I said embarrassed.

"Oh shush dear. Come on everyone is inside. I just finished making little snacks for everyone."

I gently slapping Audrey's butt to make her go forward.

She scowled.

"Come on babe just getting in character."

"What was that dear?" My mom turned and asked.

"Oh nothing Mom just telling Audrey how fun this week is going to be."

My Mom smiled and turned around. I leaned down and whispered in her ear, "Super fun."
