Audrey's POV

He was still holding me in his arms.

"Um you kinda have to let go if we are going shopping." I said a little embarrassed.

"Well you are going to have to get used to me doing this for the next couple of days if we are going to be a fake couple." He said smirking.

"I'm only doing this because first, I need a break from my job and secondly, because I feel bad for you." He laughed at my reasoning.

"So you do care for me?" He asked still holding might I say.

"Let's just go shopping." I pulled myself from his grasp.

I got my purse from the hook and opened the door to leave.

"Whatever you say honey." He said walking past me.

"I'm already regretting this."

We got to the mall and he dragged me to all these stores that I know I couldn't afford.

"Sweetheart what about this one?" Christopher asked me holding up a too provocative bikini.

"Definitely not. I'm meeting your family for god sakes."

"Can I help you guys with anything?" A sales associate asked.

"Yes my gorgeous girlfriend needs a few bikinis for a trip to my parent's lake house this week and she is being too stubborn to actually choose a couple. So will you please pick some out for her so we can get a move on." Christopher told the clerk.

"I would love to." The clerk dragged me to the dressing room and kept passing me bikini after bikini.

"Oh sweetheart I would love to see you come out." I heard Christopher say through the door."

"Oh asshole I would love to kill you." I said whispering through the door.

I heard a laugh in response. "Anytime baby."

I tried on a black bikini with a fringe top. It was cute.

After getting a couple of decent bikinis we were done with the first store.

"We will need to get you some dresses and a couple of outfits." Christopher said looking at the store windows.

"Here I got this." I went into my favorite stores and got what I needed.

I had bags and bags of clothes, shoes, jewelry. It was too much and I didn't pay one cent. Christopher wouldn't let me pay. He said it was a favor for him so he had to pay.

We were eating at a Mexican restaurant after we finished shopping.

"So tell me what's your family like?" I asked eating my burrito mojado.

"Well we are your typical American family but we have money." He said shrugging it off.

"Well that's boring. Like tell me their names and what they are all about. Each and everyone."

He smiled at me.

Christopher's POV

Usually the girls I'm with don't want to know everything about me. But this girl is different. She want to know. My insides warmed up.

"Well let's start of with my parents. My Dad's name is Greg and my Mom's name is Carol. Mr. and Mrs. Mason. My Dad is a lawyer and my Mom is a therapist. My Dad is your usual funny and laid back Dad who thinks he can fix anything and grill anything. My Mom is very loud and sweet. She just wants the best for her children, what mother doesn't. I have two sisters, Emily and Evelyn, they are twins by the way. They have their families already. I have two brothers. My eldest is Ryan who is the joker of the family. I swear sometimes I think he's like five. My youngest sibling is Bradley who is very introverted. Well I guess he would be since he is living with my parents still. He is my favorite though." Oh Bradley my nerdy shy brother.

I looked at Audrey and she was smiling while eating.

"Why are you smiling?" I said amused.

It was then I noticed she had a tear coming down her cheek.

"Why are you crying?"

She laughed and wiped the tear. "Your family is beautiful Christopher. I can't wait to meet them."

It was then I remembered that she didn't have family growing up. She was in and out of foster homes till she was eighteen.

You've got to remember sometimes how lucky some people are to have big families who they can always rely on because you never know who you might meet that never had a family, like Audrey.

We finished eating and we walked back to the car.

"Hey babe I think it would be best if you stay with me for the night so we could leave in the plane early in the morning."

"We are flying?" She asked surprised.

"How else were we supposed to get there?" I asked amused.

"Well I didn't know we'd fly." She said in defense.

"Yeah I kinda...set the plane to take off early in the morning. So I was thinking it would be better if you just stayed with me so it could be easier."

"God I don't know if I can pack my bags so fast when I get home. But I do agree in going with you for the night just make sure I have my own bed."

"Awww beautiful that's no fun." I said teasing.

"Oh shut up."

Right now I am laying in her bed watching her pack like a crazy woman.

"How many days are we staying?" She asked holding up her hair tools.

"I might not sure just before the weekend comes."

"Okay." She grabbed more makeup off her vanity and shoved it in her suitcase. Girls really take vacations seriously.

She shoved more clothes and the clothes we bought today in the suitcase.

"If you put any more in beautiful it's not going to close."

"Oh it's going to close trust me." After about 30 minutes of running back and forth she was done. Finally. I was snoozing off already.

"Let's go." She said picking up her suitcase.

"I got it." I picked up her suitcase and almost pulled a muscle. "Geez this thing weighs a ton."

"You could never be too prepared."

"No Audrey you took prepared to a whole new level."

We got to my condo and were greeted by Jeff my right hand man.

"Good evening Mr. Mason. Miss. James."

"Good evening Jeff. Can you please take Miss. James suitcase up, but you'll need a forklift or else you'll pull your back." I still need this man.

"It is not that heavy." Audrey said.

Jeff picked up her suitcase and made a grunting noise. "Not at all Miss. James."

I laughed and grabbed her hand to lead her up to my condo.

"So I presume today is your day off." She didn't mention the club so I knew she didn't have to go.

"Yeah. The club is only open Friday through Sunday and the weekdays we rehearse. But today is my own day off."

"Interesting." We arrived at my condo and she was in awe.

"This entire floor is yours?"

"Yes." I said proudly.

"You are rich." She said sort of uninteresting.

"Would you like something to drink?"

"Do you have wine? I need a drink."

"Of course I'll pour you a glass." I walked to the cupboard and pulled down a glass and I was thinking how good this felt, serving Audrey a glass of wine after a long day. My future.

I turned around and seen her looking at the view.

"Here beautiful."

"Thank you." She took a sip and sighed with pleasure. "This is good."

I laughed. "Come on let me show you to your room." I held out my hand for her to take which she did thankfully.

We walked up the stairs and I opened the door to the guest room.

"Is this your room and I'm using it because I'm a guest?"

"No this is the guest room."

"The room is huge and the bed is huge too."

"Like I said I'm rich. Anyways Jeff has brought up your suitcase it's in the closet over there. Get comfortable and meet me in my room." I could tell she was thinking 'why your room?', but didn't say anything else.

I let her change and went to my room which was the door across and changed into some sweats and a black t-shirt.

I had my housekeeper set up popcorn and other snacks in my room for a movie night. I hope Audrey agrees.

"Christopher, where are you?" I heard Audrey call from the hallway.

"In here."

She walked in wearing a white t-shirt and pajama shorts. She had gorgeous legs.

"I smell popcorn."

"That's because I thought we should watch a movie tonight before the flight tomorrow."

"A movie night. I love movie nights." She seen the bowls of snacks and popcorn. "This is a movie theater buffet."

"Well I didn't know what you liked so I got an....assortment."

She laughed and grabbed the bowl of popcorn with some M&Ms.

She jumped into my bed and was sitting with the popcorn in her lap.

She is the best.

"What movie do you want to watch?"

"Something funny."

"Okay how about The Hangover?"

"Perfect."

I turned off the lights and set up the movie.

"That tv is huge. I feel like I am in a movie theater."

I jumped into bed and pressed play. I gave her a blanket. She covered herself and I sat next to her enjoying the movie.

We laughed at times and were glued to it at others.

But soon enough I didn't hear her laugh anymore. I looked at her and she was sound asleep next to me.

She was cuddled under the one blanket I gave her so I moved her so she was under the comforter with me.

I put my head back on the pillow and felt her shift. She moved closer to me and put her arm around my waist and her leg on top of mine. She is so small.

Her touch made me so comfortable. I needed more of her so I pulled her in closer so I was hugging her. She sighed. And soon enough I fell asleep.
