5 - While very, very rare, there are a very few Buri who are either born not being shiny Eevees (thus precluding any chance of being a shiny Umbreon like a normal Buri), or, though they are born as shiny Eevees, they choose to (or in even rarer cases, accidentally) evolve into something other than an Umbreon. Despite not being shiny Umbreons, these creatures are just as much Buri as any other Buri, though they are usually referred to as "half-Buri" just for the sake of differentiation. Regular Buri sometimes refer to them as "abominations."

Half-Buri are usually targeted by the Buri diaspora wherever they go, the reasoning being that they are not true Buri, but have dangerous access to the Buri collective consciousness, which could be dangerous. They justify calling them "not true Buri" because their blood is the color of their species normally, whereas Buri blood usually looks like a very dark red, to the point of looking like oil.
