Their strength, kindness, faithfulness, and malleability made them optimal as defenders of settlements, although they also were, as aforementioned here, employed as scribes, marking text into permanent stone, as well as transporters. Any Joseon will quickly become the head of a pack of Buri, taking a rather motherly approach to them. This also helps to mellow out the intrinsic general impulsiveness of Buri.
