Chapter 6

~Y/N POV~

Tonight I've been invited to go out with Hoseok and Jimin to meet another friend of theirs, Min Yoongi and his wife Soyeon.

At first I was hesitant because to think about going out after dark scared me but when Jimin offered to pick me up and meet Hoseok there at Yoongis place I jumped at the chance to say yes. I wanted to make new friends in this city so knowing I'll be okay after dark calmed my fears massively.

Im looking forward to and because of that and my chance to roam the apartment freely, I was skipping around happily in my underwear. Only bras and underwear in this place.

Since living here I've noticed Jungkook works like clock work.

He comes home from work at 6.30 and then he's out the door again by 9.30 and doesn't come back until 5 the next morning and yet he's up at 7am for breakfast before going to work again.

He's a weird dude but it works out for me. I have at least an hour before Jungkook comes home anyway so grabbing a snack in the kitchen I turned on the music using my speakers I placed on the coffee table in the living room earlier.

The song called Heaven by Julia Michaels blaring around the room as I held my banana in my hand pretending to use it as a microphone.

"No need to imagine. Cause I know it's true."

I sang swaying my hips side to side now standing near the coffee table in a world of my own.

"They say, all boys go to heaven, but bad boys bring heaven to you."

I love this song so much, it just hits a nerve since I do have a habit of liking the bad boys and it never ends good. This song just lifts me up and picks up my moods.

"It's automatic, it's just what they do."

Then for the last part of the chorus I jumped on the couch and felt the last part as I sang to my self with the banana close to my lips.

"They say, all boys go to heaven but bad boys bring heaven to you."

Again I jumped off the couch and twirled across the room as the song played out but suddenly the song abruptly stopped and I gasped turning around to the speaker.

But to what I saw I let out a scream and quickly grabbed a near by cushion and pinned it to my front and backed up against the shelf.

"Jungkook what the hell are you doing here?!"

I watched Jungkook with fearful eyes and regret for even doing this in the first place. Jungkook chuckled and stepped away from my speaker throwing his jacket to the couch.

"I live here. Were you having fun? That was quite the view I had there. Don't let me stop you." Jungkook

I scoffed at him and threw my banana to his face.

"Look away you perv!"

Holding his nose Jungkook sent me a glare but thankfully turned his back to me and I took the chance to run to my room and slam the door so I could change into my clothes that I had set out on the bed. Nothing fancy just some jeans, a top with a cardigan and I'll put on some trainers on my way out.

After I changed I walked back out to the living room to see Jungkook casually sitting in the couch the tv now on and his arms stretched out across the back of the couch.

"What brought you home so early?"

Jungkook raised a brow but grew a very small smirk upon his lips as I looked up at me.

"Aren't I allowed to come home early? This was my place before you came along." Jungkook

Rolling my eyes I went back to the kitchen to grab an apple this time from the fruit bowl and it's MY fruit bowl. He's the one that wanted to split out food so the fruit is mine.

"Whatever."

With the apple in hand I chomped down on the delicious snack and chewed away happily and scrolled through my phone checking time and texting Jimin about pick up.

"So you like bad boys huh?" Jungkook

I chocked on my apple and dropped my phone to the counter. Jungkook quickly stood up from the couch and attempted to walk over but I held my hand out to him telling him not to come closer and he didn't thankfully.

"You okay now?" Jungkook

I nod and catching my breath but then shot Jungkook a glare over the counter.

"You're so fucking weird you know that?"

The look of concern disappeared on his face and changed into an amused grin.

"Ive been called a lot of things." Jungkook

"You're confusing too. One minute you act as if I don't exist and the next when you acknowledge me you either act as if you hate me or if I'm this archeological thing you've just discovered after millions of years."

However Jungkook didn't react to my words and just stared at me blankly like he always does and I scoff rolling my eyes and back to my room to grab my bag and walk back out to stroll passed Jungkook to get my shoes on.

Jungkook watched me and followed me over to the door when he set eyes on my shoes and bag.

"Where are you going?" Jungkook

"Not that it's any of your business but out with friends."

Sliding on my trainers I bent down to tie my laces.

"What friends? You just moved here." Jungkook

I snorted back a laugh at him and tied the left shoe.

"I have friends Jungkook, it's called socialising. You should try it some time unless you have friends of your own from work."

Finishing my right shoe I stood back up grabbing my jacket to swing on and push my arms through the holes.

"Who you going with? Where are you going and how are you getting there? It's getting late." Jungkook

I ignored the dark look in his eyes and clenching jaw and buttoned up my jacket and place my bag strap on my shoulder to hang down my side.

"None of your business and as for being late, it's only 6 o'clock Jungkook. I'm a big girl and can stay out for as long as I want, okay?"

I patted his cheek and he just stiffened but didn't move away.

"I'll be back whenever, don't want up!"

I sang out to him and made a quick exit out the apartment before he could say more. Rushing down the corridor and to the elevator I received a text form Jimin telling me he was outside waiting so I quickly made my way out the building so I can enjoy my time out and make friends.

Jungkook doesn't need to know my business.
