Chirstmas Drinks

Ango walked down the snowy sidewalk, the soft crunch from the snow beneath his boots filled the quiet air. The air was bitter and with the wind it nearly felt like he would go numb. He nuzzled his nose into the scarf he had perfectly wrapped around his neck, attempting to save it from the crisp winds. He shoved his gloved hands in his coat pocket hiding them from the winds too. The streets where practically empty with the occasional person passing by. It was Christmas so it made sense for no one to be out. Not many places were open but, Ango knew of one. He stepped forward towards the building just missing a patch of ice, he sighed in relief and reached for the door. He tugged opening the entrance, a gust of hot air hit his face, it felt like it was calling him inside. Making his way in, he sat upon a bar stool. The bar tender turned and smiled slightly.

"The usual?"

Ango nodded. It took him a few minutes but, the bartender placed two glasses in front on Ango. Once he paid for them he grabbed one in each hand.

"I'll bring the glasses back when I'm done"

The bartender nodded as Ango turned his back to the door and pushed. The cold bitter air immediately attacking his face. The wind seemed stronger. He made his way down the street enjoying the silence around him. He turned off at a little entrance. Inside were rows upon rows of grave stones. Ango advanced forward stepping down the little walkway. He descended down a few concrete steps before turning left. He hesitantly stepped forward. His feet brought him to a big tree that would look much more lively in the summer seasons. Underneath said tree sat a fadded out gravestone. Snow lay on top of dying out moss that grew over the grey stone. In the upper right corner of the stone a few pieces had crumbled off leaving it cracked and broken. Ango grazed his foot across the thin layer of snow revealing the smothered grass underneath. He kneeled down onto the uncovered grass placing both drinks in front of him. Beside the glasses he just placed were two empty glasses with a note between them, being sheltered from the falling snow. Guess Dazai was already here. He reached forward carefully grabbing it and unfolded it.

Would you bring the two glasses back for me. Thank you Ango.
~Dazai

He chuckled softly, placing the paper back. Ango knew Dazai would had visited Oda, it was just a matter of when. It had become routine for the two of them. Each year they both would visit Oda, sometimes Ango was first, other times they would show up at the same time but, most times Dazai arrived earlier, like this time. Ango took at seat on the grass he had just recently uncovered, trying his best not to touch the snow. He leaned forward stretching out his arm to grab a glass. He picked it up holding it up to the setting sun. The warm glow reflected on to the glass causing it to give off a little shine. He brought it back down, he tapped the bottom of his glass on the rim of the other. He brought it to his lips a small smile settling on his face.

"Merry Christmas Oda"

~This one is short be sweet~
